    Picked up the last 700D at Gateways on the way home from work, only had one TLK left (would have preferred the SLK)…
    Can't complain for $299 after cash back I guess.

    UV filters were normally $30 reduced to $2.95, bargain too.

      Sale is on until everything is gone.
      As has been mentioned, it appears they are clearing stock they will be no longer selling, ie cameras, consoles etc.

    I went to the Taree store. They didn't have any Canon 700D's. They checked a few stores on the database which listed they had stock. I tried for over an hour to ring those stores non stop and all phones were engaged. One store in Newcastle finally answered and she said no store has any stock, even if their computer says there is, but JB HiFi should price match. I rang JB and she looked in to it and also rang head office to see if they could price match. She said that since Dick Smith had no stock nation-wide, they could not price match. What a bummer… I tried so hard!! What's the bet that when the prices are back to normal tomorrow, they have stock…..

    Managed to get a XB1 with Kinect ($299) and extra controller ($24) at Castletown Townsville. Loitered round for awhile and got the last controller and literally said to the sales guy "you have anything else which might tempt me?", and he said about the XB1. There's a few other games but none of the cameras anyone was after there. More games at Stocklands though for both PS4 and XB1.

    Sales rep offered three years waranty for $50, but I was thinking in my head if they're worried about lasting 3 days.

      Well that's interesting. Managed to get a friend of mine in Townsville to go get me a 700D SLK at the Castletown store, and also got the "last" XB1 controller.

      Did they have a much bigger selection of games at the Stocklands store?

      Would be interesting to see what happens tomorrow…

          Not really, not even for me, mates are the ones into the consoles. I guess any of the newer titles. Mate really wanted to get Halo 5 at $20, but that was probably the first game sold out.

    Thanks grab some compact cameras from chadstone and few more were left there. In Brighton only 2 or 3 cameras were left. I got migear wifi action camera for $20 and no more left. If you buy more than 4 items, You will get $10 credit for next time purchase over $50 after registering as Dick Smith mate.

        I was told that is depends on colour, pink is $79 and some colour $89 and one $99.

        So finally didn't buy the V1, bought J2 and sony hx60v ex-display but never been used $95, extra 5% off because of ex-display.

        After I paid for it and realized the 10% off gift card at Coles. The lady is very nice and let me go to refund and buy it again with gift card.

          V1 fr $49 is a great deal. The battery it comes with (which is the same as the Nikon DSLRs unlike rest of Nikon 1 range) probably costs that much alone.

    Managed to pick up a TLK D3200 this morning from DSE Greensborough. I also picked up just the D3200 body for $198. They had another TLK D3200 available too, but I'm pretty sure I heard a staff member on the phone to somebody reserving it, so it may or may not still be available. They had a display model still there as well.

    I initially wanted the 700D, but they told me they were sold out, even though I could see one sitting behind the counter, guess it must have been reserved.

    I asked them what deals they had on today but they said they didn't know, they were still going through and putting all the sale tags out.

    went in a store earlier today looking for ps4 and some dslr and nothing left, the staff said I can call back later or walk in to see if the stock for ps4 come in again. sounds weird but I gotta ask are they really gonna restock , since they want to clear out the inventories.
    also is the ps4 dual shock controller on sales ? asked the staff and he said it is normal price, doubt that.

    Limited gaming stock at Brandon Park, VIC. PS3/360 titles are the standard GT6, COD Ghosts, Black Ops 2. No PC game stock and no consoles (sigh). They have also run out of cameras.

    Glen Waverley's gaming section is totally cleared out.

    I'm a big fan of Gran Turismo and was tempted to buy a 2nd copy just for no particular reason at all.
