It seems it is…I never knew this…it's since been overtaken by other shopping centres though.
I used to live in Toowong and went there often, it just didn't feel all that big. But I guess it's because I'm comparing it to shopping centres in Asia…They did expand it quite substantially a couple of years ago. When I lived in St Lucia it was pretty puny and would have been betten in size by practically any half decent shopping center in Victoria (including Frankston)

No. Indooroopilly is definitely bigger. And the food court is massive.
chermside is the smallest in Brisbane. Carindale is far bigger and Mt Gravatt.

Chermside is about 25% bigger than indro (115,000 sqm vs 145,000). They do have about 50% less bogans though.

yeah. Being someone who grew up on the northside and frequented Chermside for 20 odd years, I was shocked at the level of bogan when I went there 3-4 years ago.
The scary thing is. Chermside is probably the best representation of Australia on average.

Westfield Indro car park sucks and the traffic in that area also sucks. otherwise all in all a good suburb lol

I am not so sure about the car park. Look for the newer eastern side parking levels above and beside DJ's and myers lifts.
However scanned number plates for 3 hour parking sucks. Mums who shop , leave to pick up kids return have not been able to leave a the scanner programmes failed to note time away. Lol.

Read in the news that DSE lost competition mainly to JB.. while i myself honestly prefer the staff working DSE than those in JB, JB's always assume we as a consumer know everything about what we gonna get in the store, they becomes impatient after the 2nd question most of the time..or maybe that's my own experience. DSE Sunshine VIC vs JB Sunshine VIC, under the same roof. 1min walk from each other.

That's how retail rolls these days, a lot of staff get treated like crap so why bother being nice to customers, I remember the days serving when 90% of customers were miserable bastards
Cannot agree with this more. A few weeks ago, it got to the point where a customer said something (stupid) to me and I literally could not muster the energy to respond. I just stared at him until he walked away. I still can't believe I did that to a customer (it was rude of me), but it seems I've reached that point in life.
Maybe the extension to that is to refuse to engage - like My local DS store appears to have taken the phone of the hook :-)

My friend got the bare system no bundle for 299 at a dse today so they are definitely on sale, he got the last one in the store
He got scammed, $150 for Ass creed (which is effectively a bare system, no kinect)
