  • in cart Proceed to Checkout with all items in your cart
  • Add redemption code in entry box
  • Continue button
  • Complete payment

note keep currency the same

DISCOUNT WORKS ON

  • items from other ebay country sites too, just buy via AU site, keep the currency the same for multi item transactions
  • auctions and offer if paid within offer period
  • (accepted) offers if paid within offer period
  • groupdeals
  • already marked down items

DISCOUNT DOES NOT WORK ON

  • Shipping fee is excluded from the discount
  • Buying on eBay country sites other than AU

    • It would be funny if it really was "TBC" or "OzB".

      • you never know… could be ARSEBARGAIN2015 based the previous sandisk/samsung SD card deals.

      Stupid @rse???

    • +3

      WELCOME2016

      • As if it isn't going to start with C like all the codes in the past.

      CNYE15

    0.85 x 0.96 = 0.816
    Potential discount of 18.4% off
    Min spend of $150 @ 18.4% = $27.60

    • +5

I'm pretty sure cash back is calculated on the before discounted price. I could be wrong.

      • That's correct.

      • Yes indeed it is

    • +6

eBay cashback is calculated on the full cart value, before discounts.

      • +1

        Apologies.
        Wrong maths.

Shipping doesnt get the 15% ebay discount right?
        Only the 4% cashrewards?

      • to me always slightly less than my cart value, minor rip offs for one transaction, but large savings on ebay side

  • +28

mrbillions has been spot on in the past with other eBay deals. No reason to believe this is any different :)

    • +4

we need one of your SD card deals on ebay which should make the OZB 2015 Rewind list

        • +6

          Muhaha! O yeah!

        • +2

          @AussieDaddy:

          +1 for the spirit lol.

Yeah u nees that to survive on ozb.

        • @ryangoal: I know, mate. You get slapped across the pie-hole with one hand and get comforted with the other when you start seeing the stars. Ozb is a funny place, in a weird way. haha

  • +21

    Guys… guys… quick… TBC isn't working as a coupon code for me?!

    • +2

That's because it's not the code. TBC = To Be Confirmed. There is no available code yet.

Oh wait you were just having me on. :P

    • +2

      Hahaha that made me laugh!!!!

    • +7

      Did you try lowercase?

      /s hehe

    • +1

You got the code wrong.. IT is 2BADVSED as typing a extra character such as the 'e' in 'be' would be too difficult and time consuming for today's youth. :P

  • +7

Saving my vote so I can neg if this doesn't happen.

    • -4

But that would be an invalid neg vote.

      • +6

        No it wouldn't.

        • +2

The deal would be removed because it's not a deal.
Therefore this whole conversation will be pointless.

        • +2

          @28Degrees:

I will be happy to upvote the deal once its confirmed.

        • +2

@easternculture: Agreed. Bit sad that the most upvoted deal isn't an actual deal at the moment.

On the other hand… I heard the boxing day sales in 2019 are gonna be GOOOOOOD!

        • @28Degrees:

This deal is very Seinfeld… A deal about nothing!

    • +2

it will happen. hasnt beeen a ebay sale for days.

  • +8

19% off if cashrewards decides to track your order and pay you back the money.
15% off if they decide not to and blame the user totally for any non tracked event.

Great business plan where the user is always to blame. Can pocket a good amount of referral payments without having to pay any to the users with no way for them to tell why they were not paid. Brilliant.

    • +1

actually if you read their special terms "Payment using any type of voucher or eBay credit may result in your purchase being ineligible to earn rewards."

    • +8

Not affiliated with cashrewards in any way and can say all my purchases have been tracked, 30 at least and many >$500.

      • +2

        ^^^ Same
Never had a problem with CR and Ebay purchases except when I was stupid enough to not go through CR when I purchased.

        • +8

my account used to track all purchases…….until September and all stopped!
I did all the same stuff like I used to do, clear cookies & all, tried using different browser too!
I gave up contacting them and created a new account, bought something on eBay and guess what?

          Again, No cashback!
good luck to those who still could get cashback from them!

        • +1

          @davidl2:

Try using a vanilla installation of Firefox.. No plugins no addons and only cashrewards open.. Always works for me..

        • @davidl2: I think the trick is to add the item in cart, go to cashrewards site and then jump onto the link for ebay on their site. Then you can buy the item from the cart. Worked for me successfully both the times I used it.

        • hey jitesh_88 & ozsniper,

I am a long cashrewards user, all previous purchases were tracked.
not that I didn't try to use different browsers, different computers, different IPs,
but my CR account just stopped tracking, specially when I made a few big purchases!

yes, I added to cart, close all browsers, cleared all cookies, history, cache etc…
then re-open browser(IE, FireFox, Chrome etc) and sign in + wait for all pages to finish loading,
paid immediately just like what I always do, but ever since September, they just stopped paying me….

      • -1

Someone negged the comment because i have stated that it has worked for me everytime, haha, why would i waste my time making it up.

    • +2

Use Qantas eStore or FlyBuys eShops. I've used the latter without fail. Have used CR once and no dice - too bad I can't even bring it up as CR have a no-investigation policy for eBay.

      • it is actually eBay has a non-investigation policy for CR.

    • All my purchases have been paid and I have $1,000+ in balance ;) … People install cookie blocking software on their PCs and then complain when it doesn't work…

      • $1,000 CR balance? Right…

        • +4

Screenshot of my CR account page.. http://bit.ly/1mmJBoA
Should be over $1k soon as I'm waiting for some transactions to appear shortly. Also got abit on shopandmint, but they are slow to pay.. Not sure why I posted this, all it proves is that I got a shopping addiction problem and that CR works.

        • +3

          @overshopper:
I cash mine out whenever it gets to $20 - $30!

I can always use the extra cash, but if not, chuck it into savings. Why let it build up so much, without interest?

        • @nismo: true! Never thought about it to be honest. I always thought I'd get my shopping out of the way and then finalize everything but these ebay deals keep coming up… FFS!!!!

        • @overshopper: I like how you shut the naysayer with evidence. :)

    • +2

Even when it does track, you often have to wait 1/4 of a year for it to process!

  • +13

im not sure how you can vote on an UNCONFIRMED deal

  • just spent $350… my only solace is that it would've most likely have been gone by 10am D:

  • +1

guess I'll be listing my Fallout 4 pip boy and other stuff I wasn't able to sell before Christmas! :)

  • +3

OMG. Can't believe 117 (at time of comment) OZB bots have given a positive vote to an unconfirmed deal.

    • Mindless ozBargainers are mindless.

      • +8

These deals usually turn out to be legit, you've been round long enough to know that :/.

      • -1

        Mindful ozbargainers are also mindless.

  • +2

I was just thinking about getting Huawei W1 Smartwatch.

    • +1

      $395 is a great deal!

  • +2

Many Thank you for your effort mrbillions !

  • -5

Sorry Mr Billions… but where is this proof of the "eBay 15% off Sitewide" you spose to put some form of picture/proof!?

    • -8

he could easily put a screen shot of the chat message

      • True…. but!… where is it?

        • You get 100% off your proof… and you're still not happy?

    • All rise for Bonky's court…

  • +5

Could the inevitable 'why is paypal showing full price?' question be answered in description please OP.

    • done and thanks!

      • +1

Thanks for adding it earlier but for some reason it was removed… I've put a report in to get it re added. Has been re added, thanks hamza.

  • +2

fingers crossed! it would make the perfect end to the year :)

  • So if this is a legit deal, which would people recommend?

The Dyson 37C or the Miele S6.

Keep in mind its only for an apartment and we have no pets. Just wants something that sucks the crap out of the fluffy carpet.

    Thanks

    • +1

Dyson head arrangement looks like it might be painful for blockages etc, IMO.

    • +1

I have a Miele and I can vouch for it. Very efficient and I like the bag-ed vacuum. its hassle free.

    • We threw our Dyson out for the Miele C3. It works so much better. We have pets though, so that was a big factor for us.

  • +2

I still hope to see this thread alive and kicking tomorrow arvo

    • A lot of good deals may be sold out by Wednesday arvo.

      • +3

        correction: today arvo
I personally don't increment the day until I go to bed for a good night sleep :)

  • It's better if there wasn't a limit, why do they place limits which when they could profit for new customers.

    • Do you want to buy a shiny new property in Sydney on eBay?

      • I can't believe people actually do this.

        • the first house sold on eBay was in 1996or7 in US :)

  • -1

    Well done, Thanks
Its time to look for some ebay bargains on here and wait for price hikes too!
But I don't get it why ebay is still quiet? Isn't it due in few hours?!

  • is it 15% off for everything, ie not just the big stores but other sellers as well?

    • +1

Based on current hype - it is WORLDWIDE and should include international sellers too

    • -6

Not details on deal yet. Its Unconfirmed

Anyways, good night guys and gals. See you back at 10 tomorrow where all will be revealed

  • Nice - I've been hanging for a good sale since the disappointing Black Friday sales to pick up a new GPU.

  • +2

    Maybe try "CNEWYEAR15"

    • CNYE15?

      Why the C? Clearance?

      • Coupon?

  • People are mentioning $300 max discount, I know nothing has been confirmed but was this mentioned in the op and changed?

I'm HANGING for my Samsung 65" 8 series and this could be the right time to buy.

Also I don't believe TA would let such an odd number stand, come on 5% cash rewards ;)

  • quit clogging he chat with speculations. we need this page for bargains tomorrow.

    • +2

      skip to page 10 tomorrow

  • Oh damn I just bought a Samsung home theatre from The Good Guys today.. does anyone know if their price guarantee would apply to eBay sales?

    • That's a no unfortunately. A colleague of mine has already tried this to no avail. Their policy specifically excludes eBay pricing and their own pricing in physical stores. They only match selected competitors such as OW, BL, JB, etc.

      • AHH I should have waited until today to go could've saved myself $95 if this is legit

        • +1

Not after they jack the price up 20%

    • Very doubtful

    • If you do see that your item has been jacked up and then discounted for the eBay sales, then you should make a complaint to the ACCC. This is a big no no.

      • They have been doing this every eBay sale.

    • Just buy another one on ebay and return it with the old invoice. Always work
