I'm seeing 114.7/litre for special unleaded last updated at 5:33am yesterday.
Richlands (Progress Rd & Garden Rd 4077) for me is showing up as 142.9 ULP.
Yep, just updated today. I see the same thing.
Anyone having issues, I've got a galaxy s6 and fake gps free.
Open fake gps, search then engage location
Open 7-11 app and search local price
When it gives you an error, go settings and turn off app developor mode, before you go back in to app.
Scroll down to bring up fake gos and stop location.
This has worked first go every time for me

1. FakeGPS Lock in Location.
2. Open 7/11 search location, Error then close both in TaskManager.
3. ALSO close FakeGPS in the Notification drop down.
4. 7/11 App Search Location press twice and will lock in one go.worked on my Xperia Z2 also
I have the same phone it stopped working after OS version 6.0.1 Now I get mock location detected. Any way around it?
Yes install Xposed and make sure your rooted then press module then fake mock locations
How do you get around root detection?
Root cloak makes the app crash on launch..
This is the way, that has been working for me consistently since recent developments.
- uninstall both apps.
- d/l and install mockation
- load mockation.
- set mock location app in phone's developer options.
- load and lock your location.
- uninstall mockation.
- d/l and install 7/11.
8.lock your fuel discount. - for next cycle, repeat from step 1.

There is no way they can know that unless you tell them. And they shouldn't be concerned about it anyway, they are still making money and IMO this app is a sneaky way to get people coming back to 7-11 with the money that will be left over on their account each time.

I was surprised that the error message was so straight forward, which makes me think they've got it figured out (at least on my platform)
@Hansi: I had the exact same error. You just need to fiddle around with FakeGPS and 7-11 app, swiping shut, reopening etc. After a few times it worked. Don't disable mock GPS like it asks you.

Probably Android? Does iOS have mock locations? Even if it does I'd imagine it's called something else.. like iFakeLocation or something LOL

Hey guys,just relaised a way to search prices of each 7-11 servo. On the app in the menu section on left theres a storefinder option. You can individually check fuel prices for each servo. Hope this helps all of us.
You can also check what fuels a particular 7/11 store sells, i.e. some people want 95 only.
Looks like E10 and Prem98 are at all 7/11s.
The other fuel variants aren't always available at every store.

Still on version 1.0.6 and in the past couple of days I've been having a lot of trouble with the mock locations error. Took about half an hour of fiddling yesterday to get through. Anyone have a solid way of getting around it? Should I look for a prior version of the APK?

I think I have found a pretty solid way:
1) Lock the Location
2) Open 7/11 app and try and fail
3) Open Location App and Stop Mock Location
4) Close Mock Location app and 7/11 app
5) Open 7/11 app and lock in price.It seems to work pretty consistently for me.

P98 is also 129.9 at Noble Park 3174 (113.9 for U91), for a splash of variety.
It's 1cent cheaper if you go a bit further to Keysborough VIC. Prices as below

It's now at the point where it's cheaper to buy a discounted woolworths voucher (5% with entertainment book, or cashrewards), combined with a shopping voucher.
for example, my local caltex/woolworths is charging 1.359 for 98. with a 4c voucher this becomes 1.319. 5% off brings it to 1.25305.
you can even get another 4c/l off if you spend $5 in store, but then you're paying a premium on most items in store….
Its always been like that. When local prices are all low, go discounted wish egift/gc + 4c stack.

What I've noticed is that whenever I select fakegps as the mock locations app in developer settings it somehow defaults to 7 eleven fuel app. I don't know if the 7 eleven app is hijacking the setting.
I raised the same issue but one of the ozbargainers advised me it was working fine but i am guessing due to update or something it might not be working anymore :(
It works for me (Galaxy S6) using the following method:
1) Open fakegps and choose location
2) Immediately stop location spoof and close app
3) Open 7-11 app and do lock in check. (Almost always gives the mock location error first up)
4) Repeat steps 1 to 3 (It should give you a location error this round. So simply keep closing and opening the 7-11 app a few times)Fiddling with the developer settings never worked for me. It takes me like 20 to 30 seconds using the above method. I'd suggest putting the app icons somewhere that allow you to go through steps quickly. Speed seems to be the key. Especially after you stop spoofing your location.
Edit: Oh and don't do it on wifi. I seem to have the best results when I'm moving (on the train but walking up and down my passage works too. Not saying that you have to be moving but it does seem to take easier when you are.
My method works 2nd attempt 100% though.

Melbourne got down to 110.9 at the last petrol cycle. Riverstone is still 112.9.
Usually the rise occurs over several days as more and more petrol stations increase their prices. No sign of a flattening in the average price on Fuelcheck. I think prices will stay low well into next week.

Yeah you can do that. But the pump times out and resets after a little while, so you need to be kinda quick. I found this out while filling a lawnmower petrol can and taking my time before putting the nozzle in the car.
You can also make a new account with another email address. Pretty sure this would work. Only you would have to have another amount stored on the credit card for the new price lock. After the seven days, the original price lock would expire, so you would be free to make another on the original account.

@ycon: Open a new account with new email, then make new fuel lock. I thought it was a good idea, but then realised you would have to add funds to lock in the new price. Price locks last 7 days then expire, so you would just let the first fuel lock expire. Sorry, sleep deprived, I know I'm making it sound complicated.
How about take a screenshot of a barcode and send it to someone who wants that locked price(who can't be bothered to fake gps etc…)

The app does not accept prepaid credit cards.You need an ID verified one.
Rang up their customer service line…They aren't sure what the error is but I'm guessing cos we both tried to add our own cards with the same number, it musta locked us from using it! So went in store bought a gift card, loaded it, locked in the price and went n poured fuel straight away, came back in and paid via Amex so winning! Also got a free Krispy Kreme! :)

(1st time everytime for the past month)@chinezejew: fakegps. I suggest leaving in the amount u usually fill up with (I leave $80 in there) and pay using card or cash each time. Otherwise you can get errors
the way i do every time that works for me (someone pointed me out to this earlier in the thread):
this is on android, and will not work after the april android security patch as they've fixed the fake gps bug (and you'll need to either roll back or root)
- turn on fake gps and lock in a location
- open 7eleven, try a price lock. this will fail with mock location error
- swipe close 7eleven app
- stop gps spoofing, swipe close fake gps ap
- open 7eleven, try a price lock. should work
note that in step 5, your phone is genuinely trying to find a location, so make sure you do it somewhere without a clear view of the sky, as if you do it in your car it'll lock a real location too quickly. the shitter is the best place.
@nardz: I tried that but after it gives me a price the real location loads and then it wont let me lock. The new up/down liter selector turns grey and I can't lock this used to work with old slider liter selector. I think it might be due to me being on the latest version.

@nardz: Yeah, this works. Sometimes it will keep giving mock error but you just keep trying, and eventually it works.

@Clinton: i think factory reset. I don't believe April is an issue though - I'm on April 5th patches and i can fuel lock without any issue.
I do have a permanent notificatoin asking me to install may though, and I think that'll do me in.
Interesting to note though, when i looked a couple of weeks ago, the fix was marked in the May security patch. It seems as they've now promoted it back up into march. So if you've installed march or april recently you'd be screwed, but as of a couple of weeks ago you could go up to april.

@sintro: Changing the radius doesn't help me at all (Safari on iOS 10.2). The best way seems to be to navigate to the home page and choose Sydney 2000, fuel type, and remember settings. Then head to map, zoom all the way out and return to the list view. It's cumbersome but I can't get a URL to work.
For anyone having trouble with NSW Fuel Check links, you can make it work by clicking the Brand (7-Eleven) or Fuel Type at the base of the webpage. Then click "Filter".
Not much point right now however because current NSW prices are horrible.

Nexus 6P Running 7.1.2 and i followed these steps:
1. Open mock gps (Which @droptester linked) and engage your fake location at X. Make sure you have the mock GPS selected in developer's options
2. Open 7-Eleven
3. Close both applications from the recents list
4. Swipe down from notification bar, and press the square (AKA stop) at the right of the fake GPS notification
5. Open 7-Eleven and wait about 30 seconds to 1 minute
6. Press Find cheapest fuel and poooff!!maybe even set your location to device ONLY :)
@18: Thanks . However at step 6, the 7 eleven gives me "mock location detected" error and asks me to disable it. So I disable it and quickly go back to app and search..voila original location deected 😭
If you disable mock location in developer settings, then it will stop working. Just leave it with mock locations enabled.
Also, did you wait a minute or so before disabling it? Try wait 2 minutes :\
It's probably your version of the 7-Eleven App, check 7-Eleven App Settings for version number.
1.0.6 still works fine so no need to have a higher version number than that. 1.0.5 will force an update so should be avoided. You can install 1.0.6 from APKPure, then disable updates for this app in Play Store.
You don't need to disable mock location
- Engage your fake location and then stop it
- Quickly open up the 7-11 app and try to fuel lock
- If it says mock location detected, close the 7-11 app (remove from recents as well), and repeat the steps above
This usually works for me after 2-3 attempts depending on where I am.
But of course it could be your 7-11 app version as well (as mentioned above)@jonsnow: Thank yo so so much @jonsnow & @droptester. I was on the latest version. Downgraded to 1.0.6 and tried few times and it worked eventually 😀

Out of the blue, I can't spoof location anymore using Fake Gps free. My 711 apps keeps pointing at my current location. I followed the above steps but still can't get it to work anymore.
I've got Nougat and my 711 apps is version 1.1.1. Does anyone have any suggestion to make it working again?
Did you just upgrade to? Should have read the news, Google no longer allows gps spoofing on 7.
So to answer my own question, the problem was with fake gps go so I had to re-install it and now it's working again.
Make sure you select GPS/only for location setting. Don't use High Accuracy setting and try not to connect to any wifi when searching for location.

Lately WA has been cheapest. WA has a unique weekly price cycle, with Monday always being the cheapest day, Tuesday the most expensive, then gradually getting cheaper again up to Monday. So worth waiting until Monday, or at least Sunday if you can.

But if there was a way of being notified instead of having to check that would be really handy.Not that I know of. If you keep a close eye on movements/stations around you then if some rise by 20+ cents then buy at the next station you see with still the low price.
Best way is to subscribe to this thread and make sure you get every email. Set up an autorule in your inbox or use IFTT app to make it turn into a push notification.
Does the NSW fuel watch work for anyone? In regards to the whole of state search in the title bar of this post.
It previously worked for me and now I can't get it to load anything unless I plug in a specific post codeTry and report it to them, they may not be aware it broke. If they want to maximise competition they should bring back the original functionality.
It works if you go to the main page, map view, zoom out, then return to list view. The saved search links don't work anymore.

I'm using an old version of the app so it might have changed now. If you check prices at too many stations in a week, a message will pop up stating you have 10 checks left, and it will pop up until you reach 0. You can't check prices then till Monday when the counter resets. Not sure what the limit is, but is must be lot, I've only triggered the message once or twice.
This has existed in some form for a while it's just it only tells you when you get to the 10 checks.
I think they might have reduced the amount actually. Haven't had that before when I did a huge search.

Here's a tip for you guys which I stumbled upon by mistake today whilst trying to top up my 7-Eleven account to do a fuel lock..
I wasn't able to use my Credit Card - for some reason it says my account couldn't be topped up with Credit Card, but could be topped up with a gift card.So then I went to a 7-Eleven to buy a gift card to top up my account - although I couldn't quite figure out whether there were pre-set values or whether it could be topped up with whatever value you wanted. I assumed it was with any value, because there is no dollar value shown on the gift card, but the attendant said there were only certain values that it could be topped up with. Although it did also seem like he wasn't entirely familiar with the process.
Then I realised, hey, I'm effectively topping up with AMEX!
Also for those who are having issue with mocking location (and you previously could do it), I found it much easier to use Fake GPS Joystick over Fake GPS. I was previously able to get it to work reasonably well with the steps outlined by other members in earlier comments. However, I spent about half an hour today trying to lock it in today without success. I then downloaded Fake GPS Joystick and got it to work first attempt!
TLDR:
- If you want to top up your 7-Eleven account with AMEX, go to a 7-Eleven and buy a gift card first to top up your account. You can pay for these with AMEX cards (Platinum Edge for 2pts/$ is a good one!)
- If you're having issues with mocking location with Fake GPS, try Fake GPS Joystick. This worked really well for me. I was previously able to mock locations reasonably ok but was unable to today until I used Fake GPS Joystick.
Another way to pay with Amex is that you leave your 7-Eleven account in credit all the time and after filling your car up pay with your Amex instead of paying it with your 7-Eleven account.
This is what I do. I always have credit on my 7/11 account.

Yep I'm aware, but I was sharing how to top up with AMEX which is otherwise ordinarily not possible.
I think a lot of us here are probably aware about being able to pay with AMEX by simply choosing not to pay via the app, but not sure how many were aware, or had ever thought of paying for a gift card in-store to effectively top up with AMEX :P
I also don't like leaving the money in there. If I've got it in there then I should use it. It doesn't make sense to top it up, not use it just for the sake of paying with AMEX.
But then you've got to go to 7-Eleven to buy a physical gift card, transfer it to your app, then lock in a price.
@sween64: Yea absolutely - I'm not trying to say it's more convenient because it isn't. Was just sharing a way to top up with AMEX.
I imagine you should also be able to buy these from non-fuel 7-Elevens which should make it a tad easier.
Obviously don't try to ensure you can top up with this method for the sake of AMEX if there's a risk you might miss a cheap price!

Yep, so..
1) Go to a 7-Eleven that sells Gift Cards (which I believe is all of them)
2) Purchase a Gift Card and specify how much you want topped up - I am not certain as to whether they come in preset values (like iTunes Gift Cards) or can be any value you nominate (like WISH Gift Cards). Pay with AMEX (otherwise no point in doing this - might as well top up via the app).
3) Gift Card (from my experience) gets activated immediately. Go to 7-Eleven Fuel App.
4) Tap on the dollar amount (top right corner) and select "7-Eleven Gift Card transfer"
5) You'll be asked to enter the Gift Card number and PIN number. Type these in and the app will automatically pick up how much value was in the Gift Card.
6) Confirm that you wish for this top up to go through, and your balance will increase by the amount of the Gift CardMy bad, I should've been more specific. Could you tell me the steps regarding the app and changing the location, etc. Havent been able to lock in successfully for a while. Cheers

I don't know the process just yet because I literally tried it once and it worked immediately, but basically I used the steps shared by someone earlier in this thread and subbed the app - i.e. swapped Fake GPS with Fake GPS Joystick.

My LG G4 worked great, but now can't do it on my old HTC M7 that I am using as a spare, saying "Mock locations detected" ?Thanks, tried it but still no good on my HTC One M7, as my phone does not have the option to choose the Mock Location app in Developer settings (my LG G4 did, but it died by Boot Loop).

Yes people are often locking in interstate because it's cheaper, but ultimately you pick what's cheapest. If it just so happens it's cheaper in your own state then you lock using a station in your own state. Of course it allows you to - you're using a fake location!

1) Unistall the 7-11 app
2) Go to this link and download v1.1.1 app
3) Go to the Play store, find the 7-11 app and untick the auto update optionAnother thing is that SBIN mode is detectable in all versions. Stick with image mode.

I don't think you can reset… Either use or let it expired. You can fill in 2l or send screenshot to friend to use your voucher.

I even check on another app (Petrol Spy) and it returned the price for P98 at Gateshead being 118.7 too…. Not sure if the 7/11 app is no longer honoured low priced fuel at select venues?

hi guys - new to the 7/11 app.. have downloaded it and was about to lock a price but then it asks for amount and a credit card. So does that mean it like a pre-paid card? Once i lock the amount will it deduct from my credit card straight away? and what happens if i don't fill the fuel? I am assuming I could use the money next time..
Yes you will need to add credit to your 711 digital gift card in order to lock the price.
But when you pay, u can pay with a credit card so you don't have to keep topping up the 711 giftcard, plus you'll get credit card points.ok thanks.. so once i top-up say for $30 those $30 will be blocked for 7/11 isnt it?

If you locked and changed your mind then go fill up at woolies. The locked price will expire in 7 days or you can fuel up a few litres to use the locked price.
I always keep an amount in the digital 711 giftcard for locking fuel prices and haven't topped up for months.

Exactly you can't use a voucher. They had to take down my details and promised to refund me as credit to my 7-eleven account. That itself was a bit dodgy as I paid with credit card; they should refund to that but I didn't push it.
I've had a similar experience. In the FAQs in the app it outlines directions of how to get a refund. I was given a little bit extra for the inconvenience.

Has anyone’s fuel lock failed to work when paying?
I had a fuel lock I did in Brisbane (not GPS-spoofed), and tried to use it in Melbourne (keysborough- Cheltenham Rd) but the system wouldn’t let the attendant apply the lower price after he scanned the barcode.
He said it had happened twice already that day, and to email the 24-7 support email but I’ve emailed twice already (Thursday and Friday) and haven’t gotten a response. So much for 24/7 support…
I had locked in at the bottom of the Brisbane cycle (was going to fill up, then lock again but fuel worked out 6c/L cheaper with the targeted Coles Express voucher), and Melbourne was at the top of their cycle, so the difference was 28c/L (x52.5L)

I've had it happen at the same station twice.
The first time, the guy scanned and it didn't come up.
Switched machines and it worked.
The second time, a different attendant scanned it, entered it manually, rang up head office who said just to pay the full price and they would reimburse me. I asked him to give the other machine a go first as it was over $20 off and I didn't want to risk not getting it back.
First scan and it worked right away.

Maybe 7eleven heard me mention the LPG pricing… it has finally changed (as pointed out by @agam2104 above)
The most notable changes are: Camperdown is now missing from the list altogether (previously x4) and LPG prices have increased by over 4cpl across the board!Lake Illawarra is the place to avoid, while the mysterious town of Thornton, NSW remains in the top spot! It looks like the fierce battle between BP Thornton (110.7), 7eleven Thornton (110.7), United Beresfield (110.7) and Metro Tarro (110.7) shows no sign of giving up. It should be noted that the independant Curley's Service Station (127.9 - Previously AMPOL) in the middle of the price war is likely going to be the biggest loser in this situation, without a huge parent company to back it's pricing discounts.

Some exciting news for us fuelwatchers! I've coded a Python program that goes through and finds the cheapest prices in NSW and WA. Here is a sneak peak of the output. I've ran a few test cases and it seems to check all the stations, so hopefully there aren't any missing!
I just need to find a way to host this on a website so that it automatically runs hence saving us time (especially OzJD for the amount of effort he puts in!).

Any tips for spoofing on a galaxy S3? I've tried a couple different gps apps, also tried the latest version of the app and back installed v 1.0.6. Everytime i get error on the app saying must unlselect mock locations. Get the message every time the mock locations box is ticket, whether the fakegps is running or not. Will rooting the S3 help?
Also got an old iphone i might be able to jailbreak and try on that. Have others had more success with the iphones over androids?
Same happens with my S2. Until I uncheck the mock location option, the app keeps displaying mock location error. If I uncheck it, I go back to my current location.
You need to put it i developer mode. Go to software info and kernel version.
If you tap it 10 times…..it says 3…2…1 steps from developer mode. It"s one of those in info.Yeh still comes up with the same message.
Not sure if it's your location app but I use fake location (mock gps) by lkr studio.
All the phones I've put it on work after switcbing it into developer mode.Which app are you using? Since changing from fake GPS to GPS joystick i've had no issues with mock location errors.
@Bullion78: I've tried a few different apps for gps. I think the issue might be with the 7/11 app? This is the error i get. It comes up whenever allow mock locations is selected within developer settings, regardless of whether i have a mock location app mocking or not.

WA and NSW are the only official sources, I use petrolspy.com.au for the rest. I doubt petrolspy could be built into your app unfortuantely. Prices are based on user reports which can then be confirmed using the 7/11 app.
I need to fill up and there's no cheap petrol :(.

I'll pretty much always post the updated prices (for WA and NSW) in this thread, but if you're out and about, here is a really easy link to the most up to date prices from my script:
You should be able to add that to your homescreen on your phone etc. for easy access.
Keep in mind that there will often be cheaper prices in SA, QLD or VIC, so let's keep contributing those prices as well.

It took me almost 30 mins to lock it in… Because of the mock location thing. Going back and forth between the fuel app, fake gps app and developer mode mock locations…

Android - 4.2.2Not sure why it would take you that long once it's set up. Whole process should take less than 2 mins and even less if you know where you want to lock it in at.
I usually use petrol spy to see where to lock into…probably the longest part. After that, set location, and lock in price.I'll share the issue I face. I can't lock with my S2 and Galaxy Note 2, but I can with my S7. The process to set mock location is different because of different OS. In S2, I have to check a box to set mock location and I can't select any app as mock location app. Just a checkbox and nothing else. In S7, I have to choose an app like: fake gps.
The whole process takes much longer in S2 and Note 2 because cleaning the apps from memory doesn't solve mock location error unless I uncheck the mock location from developer options. So one more extra step involved. The moment I uncheck, gps sets my actual location as current location.
In S7, I don't have to do anything with developer options. It takes some time for gps to return to my current location.
May be I'm doing the whole thing wrong.
I have a similar problem its with an old S3 and i get this error. The app wont let me get any location as long as the developer mock location setting is ticked, whether i have a fake gps app running or not.

Mate, try to restart your phone whenever you have difficulty to lock in prices. It always works for me and I can even lock in the price on fuel apps while fake gps apps is active.

I think S6 & S7 have same OS. I can easily do it in my S7. May be the issue is with S2/S3 OS (Android 4?)

Ok, here are the steps i normally do.
Developer Options tick Allow Mock Location > Fake GPS locked location > 7-11 App Find My Best Local Price > Mock Location Error > Untick Allow Mock Location in Developer Options > Usually the Fake GPS app will start not working > 7-11 App if i am lucky or fast enough i can lock the cheap price or the app will detect my current location.
@yasirfarabi: Yep seems like it could be an issue with S2/3 and/or android 4. Not sure if rooting will help the issue, any thoughts?
@chillybags: Rooting may or may not help, there was a few comments about it a couple of pages back. Something about the latest versions having better root detection. Think it has something to do with how root access is gained

You can check prices at different locations without faking your location use the Store Finder menu rather than the Fuel Price Lock menu. You will still need to fake your location to lock in the price.

Thanks. Any tips to get it working? I'm trying FakeGPS Free but the 7-11 app keeps detecting mock locations is enabled. I am running the latest android and have tried limiting location to 'GPS' only and tried via both wifi and 4G but can't get it to work.
What phone are you using? Have you ticked "no Root Mode" in Fake GPS Free settings? In Developer Settings, "Select mock location app", have you selected Fake GPS Free?
Also check the version of the 7-11 app you are using. I had to go back to 1.1.1 (806) to get it to work. See Steve-o comments in link for details.

I haven't had a problem. Canberra has perpetually inflated petrol prices. I fill up once every week or two at NSW prices — later today at Western Australian prices (Monday cheapest in WA, if all other states are high, lock in on Monday).

I don't think the franchisees care either. 7-11 is an odd profit share model. My understanding for a normal non-fuel outlet head office takes 50% of the profit margin on goods sold. In the case of the fuel outlets, head office pretty much runs the fuel side - not sure if the operator gets anything for fuel sales, or only for shop sales.

What works for me is this
Fake gps - > google maps current location - > 7-11 app (may need to try and lock couple of times).
Google maps seems to cache location so it works even after mock location is disabled.

For those users who are jailbroken here is how I BYPASSED updating the app.
I am currently on 1.0.8 and at the time of this post I am no longer forced to update.1) Download and install iFile (google is your friend)
2) Head over to var/mobile/containers/bundle/[Find the relevant app directory] (I just searched for 7-Eleven Fuel.app and found the directory it was in)
3) Inside the app directory click on the iTunesMetadata.plit and select the option Property List Viewer
4) Find the bundleShortVersionString and edit it to say 1.3.0 Click Done on the top once complete
5) Now back in the app directory click on the 7-Eleven Fuel.app folder scroll to the top and bring up the search box and search for Info.plist
6) Select Info.plist and choose to open it with Proper List Viewer again, repeating step 4 once more.
7) Make sure the 7/11 Fuel App is closed in the background and now try opening the app again once more!Currently using 1.0.8 without being forced or asked to update to the lastest version!

Edit: I've updated to 1.3.0, I can still fake my location under store finder. I haven't attempted to lock in a fuel price but I don't think I'll run in to any issues. I can always downgrade if I need to.I'm still on iOS 9

Although the search option wasn't available unless iFile was registered, had to click on seach one to find it.I think I downloaded iFile off an unofficial repo which has cracked apps etc. Didn't even pass my mind.

i have the same problem. no issues before but when i locked in for the first account then i tried on the second account, it didnt work it just jumped back. last time, i couldnt top up on the second one but i could on the first one. maybe the system tried to block my account or something

There's no specific way that I know that 100% works.
My phone isnt rooted but it is i developer mode.
You get into that mode by tapping the "phone build" in settings 10 times. If that doesnt work, try kernel or one of the other ones. It's not a button so you don't realise anything is happening until it says (you're in developer mode)

Lock in a location. Go into 7/11 and lock in fuel price. That's basically it.I using a Pixel XL and have v1.3.1. Don't recall ever having an issue with locking in, these are the steps I follow.
- Download Fake GPS location by Lexa.
- Make sure the 7/11 app isn't open in the background.
- Open Fake GPS location.
- Select open settings.
- Under 'Mock Locations' select Fake GPS location.
- Go back to Fake GPS location.
- Put in location.
- Press the green play button.
- Turn off Developer Options.
- From the notification shade, press pause on the Fake GPS location notification.
- Go into 7/11 and it should work.

I have the same issue with recharge or edit/add credit card in the App and this will normally automatic resloved after a couple of days. I think the right way is just buy a 7-11 gift card after each time you refuel the car.

Sadly there is no data available in any other state. Adelaide doesn't have 7-Eleven, Darwin, Canberra don't have good prices. So that just leaves Victoria and Queensland, both states don't have any fuel prices available online unfortunately. Just need to rely on the good people of OB to post those.
Could you make something that somehow imitates a person clicking on the 7/11 mobile app and retrieves the text and then sorts it? Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere type stuff?
@machej: well I think doing that would be horribly slow actually. Though it might be possible. Even then I don't think it would be able to run in the cloud, you'd have to be running an emulator full time.
I tried to figure out the API the 711 app uses to request a station's price data but it's well locked down (kudos).

Can still lock in after the update as well using FakeGPS on Android (Not rooted). New slider for selecting amount of petrol is way better imo.

Note that the data isn't 100% in sync with 7-Eleven's servers. For QLD/VIC/ACT, the data has a "Last updated" time which is the last time the price was verified at the servo. This is why I'm listing both the WA/NSW prices and the other prices.
QLD/VIC/ACT prices should be on the bookmark shortly.
edit: some teething issues with the new prices, should be fixed soon hopefully.

Waverley Gardens was apparently 119.9 for U98 but now back up to around 135.

Next step for my program is to send out alerts when the price is crazy good.

Before I got the app was also trying to learn python by parsing prices locally from fuelcheck and storing in sql lite db. Was trying to get it to alert when prices started going back up. Easier for just a few local sites but being able to travel interstate with app would be trickier for multiple states as they have different cycles. Sometimes you may never hit 'crazy good' and miss the bottom end of a cycle. Just my thoughts :)Yeah, I don't mean the bottom of the cycle, more the P98 for 119.9 which is obviously an error on someone's part. I think the typical price floor (assuming 110 for U91) for P98 is about 128.
Oh another column could be WA's price tomorrow. Or maybe something to include in the notification system.
Noticed the WA fuel watch page doesn't list the suburbs anymore..
