This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

Example:

  • Richlands QLD
  • ULP
  • 111.9/litre

There are two "tricks" that can be extremely beneficial as there is a common trend experienced by 7-Eleven App users: 1) If you receive an error processing your credit/debit card, you can purchase a 7-Eleven Gift Card in-store and apply the credits instantly onto the App. 2) You do not need to use the funds on your App to pay for the fuel, you can lock-in the price and pay via Cash or Card at the checkout saving the hassle of constantly topping up, gift cards, etc.

Master131 spends a lot of time creating and maintaining the script at Project Zero Three that we all know and love.

      The $au has slipped against the $US, so the wholesale price will continue to increase over the next week or so. Aust Day long weekend and end of school hols will likely make pump prices jump to the top of the cycle a week or two earlier.

      With the NSW election 23 Mar and Federal in May, I reckon they'll have long cycles declining leading into them (since they don't want some sort of regulatory intervention). But that's just baseless speculation on my part. I'll be locking in tues/wed as I think it jump up by next weekend and still be in the mid-high 30s by the end of school hols.

      Thanks. Anyone elae having issues locking in? (Android app, just spinning trying to find the best local price, then times out).

      store finder works (the map doesn't, but if gives me the location).
      I force stopped the app, cleared storage.
      going back in (without signing in) it does the same.

      maybe an issue with their servers?

            patched is v1.6 so I'm guessing that's the issue.

                @georgev: yeah don't try it again until you disable mock locations (it's in Settings -> <depending on android version> -> developer options google it for your version) or you will get your a/c disabled.

                    @georgev: no sorry I meant the play store app allows you to lock in the local, (non-fake GPS) price. where as the modded app doesn't work (times out trying to find best local price).

                    So at the moment, I can only lock in my best actual local price using the app store v1.7 app.

                        what version of Android do you have?
                        I've got v9 which now has the issue.

                        interestingly I just tried on v6 and it works (with/without fakeGPS).

                        So I wonder if Google has done something location services

      V6wf doesn't download
      idwskf apk results in "App not installed" when trying to install.

      Hi, I tried using the V6wf and ijfpet with Fake GPS however it says Mock Location Error: "We have detected that mock locations is enabled…".
      Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

              I didn't neg you, but you are wrong.

              It is one active lock on each account allowed at any given time.

              The Fuel Lock Voucher creation has 2 locks per 24 hours per device.
              I.e. if you have one account, you could lock>fill up car 1, lock>fill up car 2.
              Any attempts to further lock on that account on the same phone will not work.

              It is 2 locks per 24 hours per device ID.
              I have personally tested this.
              If you don't believe me, you can do your own test, if the lock isn't working, even if you make new account on the same phone, it will not work.
              However, if you sign into a different phone, it will.

    anyone got problems searching for lockins? i just have a blank screen/map with the Finding Our Best Local Price loading thing i've been using this for a couple months now and it just happened today. happens on NOX and my phone, seems like it is my account :o ?

    Apologies for those experiencing mock location errors, there was one extra check that I missed that would've caused problems on older Android versions (KitKat 4.x and Lollipop 5.x).

            @pyramid: I might be wrong. But I'm not looking at how to lock my location. I remember many many months ago an APK was made for 7/11 which doesn't check your mock locations is enabled.

            I've lost that DL link, and wondering if ya know it?
