Literally me. I fired it up about 2 and a bit years ago for half an hour or so and never finished it.
I've clocked the PSP one countless times, played a fair bit of the PS3 first one, 100%'d the trophy list of number 2, even beaten the shit out of Run Sackboy Run on Vita, but I just never got into the third one.
I was about to buy it from JB deal about $40 for two game. In turned out I couldn't find another game with it.

As long as your subscription is active you have access to the games.
The games are "free" if you have a Playstation Plus membership, just purchase them during this month. You get to keep the games for as long as your membership stays active.

Just make sure it says $0 before you 'purchase' the games, otherwise you are actually paying for them.

Yes, I've seen where the store hasn't been properly updated so while the game should be free for PS+, it hasn't updated and is still showing $30 etc.
If I cancel my subscription next month, can I still keep those free games?

Meh don't think I've installed anything off PS+ since rocket league, and that was ages ago.
Just want to put this out there so people don't get mad, LBP3 is not made by Media Molecule, and considered the worst entry in the franchise by the LBP community.
It has lots of game breaking bugs, just google them, and the game isn't being updated anymore.

All I ask from my PS+ membership is a few games I'd never normally buy in the course of my usual gaming lifestyle that'll keep me amused for a few hours a month while I'm bored of the games I did buy. This hits the nail right on the head, as usual. I'd never buy LBP or any of these silly sidescrollers, but I'm guaranteed to get more than $8 fun out of them this month. Another great month IMO.
So with this PS+ membership, you pay $8 a month, you get these games, and they're yours to keep forever?
I know the Switch has got something similar, but you don't get to keep them.
You get to keep them for as long as you have your subscription. If you let it lapse you can't access the games, but you can always get them back again by resubscribing.

Might be a noob question, but I just recently subscribed to PS+ and last month's day of the tentacle and what said i have up until the 7th of Feb to download it.. so i've purchased it, but do I need to download it before the date? or do they mean that i have to have 'purchased' it before the 7th and then I can download it at any time?

Yeah I usually go in and "Purchase" all the games I can whenever I log in, in case I forget. Then just download the ones you're interested in.
Can i ask a stupid question. Whats the point of ps plus when you cannot play the games once u are not a ps plus member. Also it is costly at 10 dollars per month. Which i dont use because i dont play multiplayer at the moment. U can easily get lbp3 for 15 bux at ebay and resell at same price after playing.
You get it for multiplayer, that's basically the only reason
Not the only reason..Plus members also get game discounts.
The discounts are more an added bonus, much like the monthly games - you wouldn't pay the annual fee just for those perks (at least not given some of the recent offerings)
@buckster: There is also the saving to cloud which I don't believe you get without being a member.
Why wouldn't you pay for those as extra perks? I've saved a lot of money since being a sub member. Some people enjoy the games coming out with Plus.
Who pays $10 per month?! 12 months is $69.95 ($5.83 per month) but I've always bought it on sale so it's been cheaper than that for me…

I primarily bought PS+ after my HDD crashed in my PS3. (lost a lot of GT5/6 data) Online & automatic game-save backups.

What is cross buying?
Cross-buy means you can play the game on PS4/PS3/PSVita (whatever the specific game states are the platforms involved in the cross-buy) with just the 1 copy of the game linked to your account.
So essentially all games bar Anna can be played on PS4?

So glad I didn't buy LittleBigPlanet 3 last month when it was on sale. Almost did but had a feeling it could be a PS Plus game soon. That feeling paid off :)
My South East Asian $36au per year PSN+ got God of War 3 remastered PS4, Goat Simluator PS4, Tales of Zesteria PS4. Preyty happy with that as I'm on a LBP fan, even though i still have GOW unplayed sitting there on PS3..
