      • Lucky. My friend tried on the last day, 2nd Nov. She called at 5pm and was on hold for four hours. Never got through!
Mine was delivered the day after I ordered it.

  • The deal is over, but they now have the iPhone X on the Premium plan for $139.20/month.
That gives 120GB data/month and 4GB roaming data.

    • Can we order even iphone X not in stock ? Someone mentioned above they weren't allowed to order if phone not in stock

      • They're up for pre-order on telstra's system now so I assume they would. They weren't up for preorder a day or two ago so orders couldn't be put in.

        • Ok. Thanks. Still a very good price for top plan and phone

    • 120gb a month… how do you even finish that!

      • +2

Easy, just cancel your home broadband. :)

    • Thanks, cant see the original post - how do we get this deal? 256gb model?

  • With this take down notice hoping they still honour the pricing on this deal. Now have my phone and 60gb data but worried they wont follow through with the new customer credit and original monthly price listed in deal. They already screwed me around by canceling my order twice due to ID checks which meant the order was placed on the 1/11 and meant I cannot go for samsung screen assurance, still not happy about that.

    • shame about the take down notice really !

    • I got my first bill and can confirm the pricing is legit.
They said to call them if we don't get the new customer credit by the 3rd bill!

      • Got my first bill and Amway Telstra Consultant over the phone has messed up. I've been charged full $149 instead of discounted $119.20. Got additional $20 credit (brought down to $129), but didn't get the advertised $99.20 price. My luck, on amway call now (since 25 minutes), long hold times again for their billing inquiry service. Normal Telstra customer service has no idea about this offer. No other avenue to get this fixed. Hoping they give the promised welcome credit by 3rd month and I won't have to call them again.

        • So I get $20 monthly credit and then "20% corporate employee discount" of $29.8.
So that brings it down to $99.20 a month.

@theguyrules: Finally got through after a 40 minute wait (better than expected from previous experience). The consultant was very understanding, apologised for the error, fixed the bill discounts for future and applied the difference as credit. Also, manually applied the $295 sign-up/ welcome credit right on the call. I even got a confirmation email of the credit being applied. Awesome service this time around, happy customer :)

        • @aaruu: nice!

Hi! Relating my experience so it helps. Placed the order on the 23rd for the Note 8. Processed on the 1st Nov and received on the 2nd. Registered with Samsung on mysamsung app.
Got rejected for the screen assurance. Called up Samsung helpline and gave them "hell" ( if this was apple..etc). They said if Telstra would provide a document saying that I had placed the order before the 31st of Oct they would process the insurance. Contacted Telstra via the online chat and they gave me a document for the same. Sent said document and received insurance from Samsung!! Bonus point, had another online chat with Telstra and requested data be increased to 75gb as current $149 plan has that amount. Data changed to 75GB!! Bonus+Bonus also eligible for Foxtel packs if you download Telstra TV app!!
      Thank you!

      • Wow lucky!! I tried my luck with the 75gb but to no luck, she said if I get the 75gb she can’t give me the $20 discount :(

      • Thanks, I also used live chat to get 75GB a month.

  • is the iPhone X available yet on the XXL plan(s) and if so whats the deal?

    • Yep, its listed now on available phones

Best deal is 256gb no handset repayment $139 (with $20CR) deal

      • How you get the $20CR?

Work this way normal Telstra premium plan is $199.
Amway corporate discount price $159.20 telstra currently offering $20 credit on premium plan so the amway plan price become $139.20. Hope this is helps.

Simply ask the amway Telstra rep when you call 1800 number

  • Smellstra stuffed up. TLDR = I've backed out of the offer
Procesed 2nd Nov, phone went to from Melbourne to Adelaide and is stuck there (I'm in Melbourne) charged me the $149 per/m, and there is a "new phone feeling" charge despite me specifically requesting "NO"
Cancelled the order and phone will somehow make it's way back to them.

    • My understanding, "new phone feeling" is chargeable only when you opt for it! It comes with package either way! I got the same email that said $149. But the discounts applied bring it down to $99.20!!

  • Just got my first bill and it says data is only 50gb. Anyone got a screenshot from on here which showed the 60gb?

    • +1

I definitely have 60Gb per month allowance. On my bill:

Includes Bonus Mobile Data Share Allowance of 10GB from 31 Oct to 02 Nov

(this is just for the first few days pro-rata)

What does your telstra 24x7 app say?

      • Thanks @eug i checked the app and it says 60gb but all documentation says 50gb. Will keep an eye on it. Thanks again.

I got 75GB and received my first bill today for $99.20. Service activated on 8 Nov.

      • Does it mean that we will only know if everything went through fine when the first bill is generated? As the 24 7 app and my account does not indicated the discounts. Am I correct?

Getting worried now, as Telstra made me getting this deal the worst experience I ever had with an application. More difficult than getting a mortgage.

It went up till the CEO team to sort it out. And took me 2 weeks, with daily follow up, 3x trip to store, loads of chats and phone calls.

      • Likewise! I received my first bill a few days ago for $99.20 + $10 handset repayment (for Google Pixel 2 XL 256gb). Surprisingly, it was also 75gb monthly data.

Just need to work out the welcome credit for $295.

      • Thanks for the screengrab Techvisar i couldnt log back into Amway as the details on the front page had been removed.

If it’s not worth the hassle for this bargain, don’t worry about it!

Do bear in mind this discount was not supposed to be available to the public anyway.

  • Epic deal. Would probably get a lot more upvote with other new phones listed in the heading. Just got foxtel notification sent by text: another 400+ value. Will certainly make use of the 60 gb & note 8. Very happy. Too bad other party is a disableduser. Hope he comes back and read some of the appreciation.

  • I ended up getting the phone by proxy (other half has same first initial and took up collection reminder card to PO before I got back) I also got $75GB for the $99.20 and the phone is great, I was hesitant on the curved edges but it's much less pronounced than the S8 edge, good hardware, good cam, great screen and a nice loud headphones jack. All in all very happy after a bit of stuffing around. I think the $295 welcome credit will come in the 2nd or 3rd bill I was advised. Even taking into account the $999 price point of the note + sticking with Prepaid, it's a mega deal.
