      It doesn't say the model number on it (and I just bought the one that I liked the look/feel of the most in the Seiko shop in HK. It's a dark blue face with a silver band.

  PJC, if you don't mind, could we ask the method you are using to work out the discount? We had a couple of member reports that the % off discount is compared to a different retailers price (not the retailer the deal is for), furthermore that price it's being compared to isn't actually a price they are selling at, or it should perhaps be listed as % off RRP. Looking at a couple random examples:

  01 – ♂ SEIKO 5 Automatic Blue Dial SNKL79 📹 jomashop.com $324 NOW $80.73 📦 … 75% OFF

  Item 1 displays as 48% off on the retailers website (Watchspree), however you have it listed as 75% off instead as you've compared the price to Jomashop, from what I can understand? Furthermore it appears that item is only US $87.99 shipped at Jomashop, not US $324 as listed.

  52 – ♂ SEIKO Sapphire Silver Dial SGEG97 📹 jomashop.com $408 $129.97 – 5% PICK5 = $123.47 + $16.88 📦 = NOW $140.35 … 65% OFF

  Item 52 you have listed as 65% off, but looking at the previous price it sold for, it would indicate an 18% price drop from US $120.84 to US $99.99 at best.

    That's how the watch industry is. Notoriously secretive about price. They want us to lean awkwardly at a dealer's window to espy the one price that wasn't thoroughly concealed, enter the premises and permit a priest to extol the product's virtues and very reluctantly concede minimal "movement" in price.

    For No. 1 I show Jomashop reduce their price from the US equivalent of $324 and I compare Watchspree's price with that.

    For No. 52 I show Jomashop reduce their price from the US equivalent of $408 and I compare the eBay vendor's price with that.

    All is visible but if required, I will gladly change % OFF to % OFF RRP.

      Thanks for the explanation and that would be appreciated if you could quote the % off as RRP for future posts, some users who are not familiar may believe the % off is from the recent selling price or similar.

        I'd be looking at getting the original cocktail with the 6R15 movement over the newer release "Presage" one with its 4R35. The 6R15 has longer power reserve and I think is slightly more accurate..

        Mind you there is a slight price difference (I think about $100+), but I think the 6R15 is a better investment.
