Sony 75" X90F 4K Ultra HDR Android Smart TV $3691 Delivered / $3592 Pickup (QLD) @ VideoPro eBay (Excludes WA/NT/TAS)

2140
PARENT

Thanks to ReAvenger who spotted this, there were only 4 available at the time, however there is now 10 available in total (and 9 have sold since that comment). Alternative to TA's deal or getting it from JB/TGG/Bing Lee etc. where it's also $3995/$3999 now (for those who have discounted gift cards and can pick it up).

Delivery is via TNT Courier (Express) or save $95 if you are in QLD and Pick it up from one of their stores. Keep in mind of course that the box will be very large.

Note, Delivery Excludes: Northern Territory, Perth Metro, WA Regional, SA Regional, Tasmania, WA Remote, PO Box

Edit: If you have the 10 x FlyBuys Points on eBay deal you'll get 10 points per $2 spent for regular members and 10 points per $1 spent for eBay Plus. In my experience of using coupons, Flybuys pays on the full amount before the discount, ie on $4490 not $3592 (don't quote me on that however). Therefore I believe you should receive 44900 ($224.50) FlyBuy points for eBay Plus members or 22450 FlyBuy points ($112.25) for regular members.

Why buy a Ferrari when you can buy an Excel !!!

        • -4

do you drive a hyundai… wishing it was a testarossa or modena?

      • +5

Really? Then why is Domino's so popular on here?

        • +12

I'd happily post my local that is 10x better than Dominos. The only problem is that 99.9% would not be able to take advantage of the offer. While dominos is practically everywhere.

        • +1

          @Clear:

          Good point

        • @Clear: just curious… where is your local pizza joint. Would like to try if it's possible.

        • @halley: Not in Melbourne 😋

        • Excellent question. As I wouldn’t pay $1 for them.

But Aldi stuff can be good, when you want dirt cheap. This is clearly a different product/target-audience.

  • +2

Crazy. I got the 65" in the Bing Lee ebay sale for $2400… may have waited if I'd known how cheap the 75" was going to go… and how quickly it was gonna get there.

For comparison the 75" was listed at $6000 before discount, $5000 after. That was only two weeks ago.

    • +1

I agree, was going to replace my 65" Panasonic Plasma with the Sony X9000 65" when it dies, but at this price I think might have to get the 75".

  • Even better price for a great TV! dont deliver to WA though.

  • Ordered on from Sony, can I cancel now and get from eBay?

    • -1

Sony deal with cash rewards is about $3725 so better from Sony I got from Sony

      • +3

I was thinking of getting 10 x Flybuys points(Promotion from Flybuys) and 1% ebay cashback from Cashrewards.

      • +1

Isn't videopro cheaper so how is buying from sony better?

        • -2

Videopro slightly cheaper by $35 but better to by direct less hassle if anything goes wrong
And Sony free shipping Australia wide ….
Ohhhhhh and go has now sold out

        • +1

@Dex38313: less hastle if something goes wrong lol. You do know if you buy it from any retailer you have the same doa period and after that they send a sony tech to your house..

        • yes I do but buying direct sounded better to me and
The $25 diff didn’t bother me

        • +1

Have you ever dealt with Sony directly for a warranty claim? I hope for your sake you don’t need to. They took 2 months to replace a tv that died after a week. They also wanted to repair the tv claiming that the panel dying wasn’t considered a major failure.

  • +3

Can't convince the wife… Woulda been $3500 for me delivered with my 10x flybuy points and 1% cash back

    • +5

Tell me about it..They are always trouble..aren't they :-)

    • +1

I have told my wife that father's day is coming up :). Anyway she watches TV much more than me.

    • +5

      change the wife:)

      • +4

        For the 75 inch model

        • +1

Coincidentally, that's how tall my wife is.

    • +4

      Start wearing pants…

  • -1

Considering this or Sony store, anyone know if either could do delayed delivery as I only want mine shipped in 2-3 weeks as my place ain't ready at the moment

  • Anyone know if you can use 37 x $100 ebay gift-cards without issues ???

    • doubtful.. don't you need to use paypal for these codes?

      • No, I purchased many times with ebay gift-cards while using codes, but never purchased this large with alot of gift-cards lol & I dont have them yet

      • +2

You don't need to use Paypal, but theres a limit on the amount of gift cards that can be redeemed at once. Eight codes total = 7 GCs + discount code. That limit may or may not be enforced though.

  • +15

Bought two so I can do a widescreen setup for gaming

    • -3

      Sarcasm ?

    • +5

Bought eight so I can do a circular set up for some light VR gaming.

  • Damn, bought one earlier from Sony. Those flybuys points would have been great

    • How much is that worth?

      • +1

At least $110 or quite a few velocity points. I guese you can't always get the best deal

  • +2

Great deal, but still waiting for that bargain 65" OLED.

    • -3

watch some Quantum Apotheosis videos on youtube before making that assumption

      • Will do mate, I'm looking to downsize from my 75" and just been following the OLED hype train.

        • +4

          Downsize?! Are you mad?!

  • Seems like they keep finding more out the back dock. Says 10 available again.

  • +1

Bought 1. time to take the aldi 75inch back

  • +2

I want WA to be its own country since we are excluded from everything!!!

    • Ikr…

    • Move to Melb, houses are much cheaper here :)

    • It’s just this tv that’s excluded from WA for some reason. They’ve shipped other stuff to me in Perth before.

  • Just tried to buy, (as a SWF) all for myself as one left!
Unfortunately didn’t go through at payment so must be sold out.
Back to the Sony deal 😊

    • Can't resist any longer. Sorry mate, I have bought the last one. Maybe more stock tomorrow.

  • how does this compare to Samsung QLED 65inch 2018 model apart from the size because both are almost in the same price. Is this backlit like the 2018 QLED?

    • Full array backlit. The Samsung looks grey in a dark room. This Sony would be black, not OLED black, but close.

    • +3

Why you sound salty? Did you buy Kogan TV?

    • +3

This… Coming from someone who has never posted a deal in 3 years!!

      • -6

a western australian and a national citizen… who is unable to purchase this overpriced TV? (i hate advertising and try not to add to the pile that is already heaped upon us)…

        • +3

You say it's overpriced, yet you're salty you're unable to purchase it… I don't get it.

        • +2

Overpriced - what are you comparing it with? Price, quality and features go hand in hand.

You seem to be one of those people who would want to buy an Audi at the price of a Kia. And i am being generous by saying Audi instead of a Ferrari.

        • western australian

That's what you get for living in a failed state.

Oh and thanks for your GST.

        • @Scab:
It didn't fail for some - if you sold investment propery(ies) before end of boom, you're very successful.

    • +5

Username checks out perfectly for the neg.

  • +1

Would love to have one to replace my sony 8500c but sony just repaired/replaced the screen so I guess I have to wait for another 3-4 years before I can look for an upgrade.

A 100" wall paper oled tv by then would be nice.

  • Just checked videopro ebay and another 10 have been added

  • The person who negged this deal must have not successfully divorced his wife to get it or he divorced his wife but it ran out of stock. Quick, take her back and wait a few hours for the restock!

    • Wasn’t me, but at this price point, it’s PJ all the way.

  • 5 more be quick.

    Tick tock tick tock lol

  • Almost gone again.

If Videopro match themselves, JB or binglee tomorrow this will come down to $3200ish…

    • Very unlikely that would happen, Videopro increase the price on eBay to cover eBay selling fees and partially funding the 20% off discount code.

  • For those sitting on the fence, you better hurry as the deal has expired at Sony store.

    • Hn gone up tgg gone up jb still under $4000 and bing lee $3999
      Don’t think doo lol

  • Estimated delivery is September 10 - 12 which seems like a long time. Do they not actually have the TVs in stock?

    • From what I have seen, they sold 37 in a 24 hour period, with someone else mentioning that they saw the stats at 57 at one point.
I pretty much expected a delay when ordering mine after seeing those numbers, so Sept 10-12 is fine by me at this price.
It will be a long couple of weeks though. It's going to drag, I'm sure.

  • Showing as out of stock now :(

  • +3
    • And came with a hn giftcard $150!

      • Hi how much was delivery? Thanks.

    • Hi. How did you get the tv? I tried to find it on their website but no luck…. only 55, 65inches are available (There is no 75inch model)

      • U have to go instore it’s on display not listed on web sight it’s $3995 ticketed save $1500
I asked for $3600 pay now he then jus went and printed out paperwork

    • Wondering whether we may get this pricing in WA from Harveys..?

  • Free as total was 3600 with delivery and $150 hn gift card

    • :) thanks

  • It’s on there sight free delivery and setup n removal of old one

  • VideoPro have added another 10 stock this morning. Price still the same.

    27-Aug-18 09:40:36 AEST Quantity

  • JB Hi-Fi still on sale today only then back to $5495
Can still get at hn for $3600
Bing lee has now gone up hn now gone up too

  • Ordered mine yesterday. Made sure CashBack was active but haven't received a confirmation email. :-(
    Did get 4490 flybuys points.

Should I contact Cashrewards about the 1%? This always seems to happen on significant purchases.

    • It can take a few days, eBay is pretty slow to track. You can put in a missing cashback claim in your account after 7 days if still no good, you just fill out the form and attach the invoice for your purchase.

      • That's what I thought. I'll give it until next Monday and go from there. In the scheme of things it's on;y ~$36 but "ozbargain". :-)

Very excited about the new purchase. Currently using a borrowed 48" Samsung that's starting to show its age.

        • +1

You should get $44.90 cashback, usually it tracks on the full amount before the discount code, ie $4490.

Hope you enjoy the TV :)

  • +2

I tried calling a couple of Harvey Norman stores and they would’nt do the deal for $3600. Anyone else have trouble with them?

    • I’m in the process of getting another one for $3600 from hn I got one yesterday and I need another one for a mate
Otherwise video pro is the best bet if your hn wont budge

    • I tried too, they giving the price $3600 but not the gift card and delivery. And they said the price going up soon again.

  • Thanks Dex, yeah I have one coming from Sony but they said it could take 2 weeks so if I could get it from HN right away I was going to do it.

    • Wow 2 weeks, that is quite long … Email from Sony few hours ago said mine in transit, expected delivery tomorrow. I ordered last Friday afternoon.

      • Really? I bought mine on Friday afternoon as well. What state are you in Blue? I called Sony this morning to get a eta and she said 7 to 14 days to me :(

        • In Vic. Have you received the email with subject "Your Sony Store Invoice …" yet? In here, it provides the DHL tracking with delivery estimate.
