    For anyone with no VISA yet - please do this! Email them with a picture of the receipt if you have it, and a quick paragraph including your claim ID. Took 5 minutes for them to approve both of mine!

    They quoted 48 hours but was pleasantly surprised to have a reply within 5 minutes!

    • not really sure why you got negged. maybe because you bought happy socks or something? more likely because you said you love them, a feeling I can assure you I do not share, this was an appalling fiasco of a promotional campaign. mine are due to come in a week but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if there's yet more issues.

      I'm glad someone's got their VISA and is happy at least.

    Just got a response to my resubmission (not the guys Zazer said to email):

    Thank you for your email and apologise for the delay in response.

    To upload any documentation you will need to visit the following link:https://www.benandjerrypromo.com.au/Home/Claim

    Please look out for error messages and make sure that you are waiting for your documents to upload before pressing submit.

    If you need to re-size your document, an easy way to do this is to take a photo with your phone and email the image to yourself and choosing the appropriate size. You will then be able to use the re-sized image to upload to the website.

    Each legible complaint they get fined a few $100 as far as I'm aware

        I think only when you've got the cards that it's considered "working".

        I have a feeling that the reply you have doesn't promise anything and is just stalling you.

    So… I purchased 2 "pints" at the same time, on the same receipt and submitted claims for both of them. But little did I know…

    "…As per the T&Cs if we find the entrants have shared the proof of purchase then their claim will be made invalid, and claims will be made invalid if proof of purchase is shared or the same proof of purchased is used for multiple entries regardless of how many products are on the receipt. The terms and conditions state ' If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your entry and the other person's entry will be invalid and neither of you will receive a Gift. "

    • That’s such bS. So for example if I use a gift card for 2 diff receipts they could deem it unworthy….even though there is 2 people

        No. They said that if the same proof of purchase is used for multiple entries it is invalid. Not same purchase method. So you can't use the same receipt even if it has 2 ice creams on it.

      • Yeah.. my fault for not reading, however this means I will get NEITHER of my gift cards. Not even one.

        • Don't be despondent yet - this is where you need to write to the address given here. I got a response from Laila - and she is pleasant and helpful. (Am still waiting for the VISA, but that is OK - at least it is processed.)

          Writing to this address, you get to explain your circumstances. There is a good chance they will ignore minor technicality, and at least one, or both of your claims get honoured.
          Include the receipt with the 2 pints, and the two claims you intend it to apply to. By collating this info, it makes it clear you are not double-claiming, and you stand a good stance. Good Luck!

        I like your optimism!! After 5 emails and 3 ticket reference numbers with broken promises to get back to me within few days, I'm not going to waste anymore time with these clowns. I've better things to spend my time on and definitely NO MORE Ben & Jerry for me and my sphere of influence.

    Just so frustrated with Ben & Jerry. Not just they’re late in giving out the Visa cards, but also lack of communication, explanation of what’s going on and quite bad responses when they do response.

    I was hoping to use my Visa card a few weeks back but now I can’t.

      I did my claim when I posted this up on OzBargain as did my wife, we both got our gift cards on the 6th June. Sure we had to confirm our phone number due to so many people trying to scam them and using fake numbers which slowed the whole process down. But we eventually got them!

      The saddest thing about the whole thing is they’ll probably never run a promo like this ever again. I know some people say they hated the ice cream, but I don’t! So making money for eating one of my favorite ice creams was a big win for me.

  • I messaged them on Facebook. On Friday, they said my claim has been validated and I will receive the visa card within five business days.

      Surprised you got that kind of response. I did too (yesterday) and they seemed to pass the buck instead of being able to see if a claim had been validated or not. Here's what they said to me

      Hi cooni, we're terribly sorry about this!!

      There have been many mistakes made with this promotion with our third-party provider, which has resulted in major delays in people receiving their Virtual Visa Cards.

      The fastest way to resolve this would be to email Visa directly, at [email protected]

      If you address the email to Holly & Laila, they will be able to look after your Claim as they are currently processing all Virtual Visa's and complaints.

      Ensure you include your Claim ID in the email as well.

      Please allow up to 48hours for a response.

      We hope this is resolved asap.

    We have checked your original claim and can see the mobile number does not match the requested update.
    For this reason, we cannot update the details on your claim and your claim has been deemed invalid

        When they asked me to resubmit via the link, I replied saying that I never received the sms code.

        Then they replied as above.

        Maybe I just ignore that, & attach the receipt to the email?

    • Hi loulou1, check your spam folder. Thanks to your info about the alternative contact, it prompted me to emailed them. And actually, they sent the VISA within 2 business days (intervening weekend days) of my contact. So they did honour the 5 days. But I did not know of it - because it was in SPAM folder.
