    Hi , I had a study with the toilet bidet dimension but I’m missing 1.1cm for the toilet dimension 50cm . Will it be able to fit on my toilet seat , it is Caroma stylus II toilet . I don’t mind abit if misalignment, just need to make sure I can use it. Thanks ! Appreciate if you can double confirm with me that Caroma Stylus 2 compatible with it .

    I have bought this from a previous deal absolutely hate going to toilet anywhere else now. This should be mandatory across Australia. Also for those flipping out about the water connection inside the cistern, it’s not such a big deal. I have mine connected via a splitter and the pipe is just hanging out the top of the cistern between the lid. Doesn’t look great with the lid being lopsided but who cares when I have a clean bum every time I use it. Also had to use an extension for the power cord since the outlet was on the opposite side but used a waterproof box from Bunnings where the cords meet. It’s worked very well so far.

    I have had one of these for a couple of months now. Once you try it you'll never go back to paper. The water is warmed and it is directed perfectly.
    We've cut back on our toilet paper cost/use exponentially.
    Concerning install there is a template available that you can print and place on the ceramic top of toilet bowl to see how it will position and/or fit.
    We have ours mounted on a ceramic toilet/cistern.
    My water inlet was on the wrong side but at the very rear of our toilet were holes to allow the water to be extended though so that solved an issue for us after a trip to Bunnings for a water line extension.
    The install is not as clean looking as the promo image but it's reasonable.
    The app wasn't very easy to use but once setup we haven't had to use it again.
    Unsure on the longevity of these things but to date it has performed flawlessly.
    The 'squirter' extends out under your butt, squirts, then flushes itself and retracts.
    The unit has remained clean throughout, there's no more mess than an ordinary toilet.

      most people in Australia think it's ok to clean your bum with toilet paper. In reality its the most disgusting thing.

      You definitely need to wash after doing your business, minimum a wet wipe of some sort ( biodegradable )

        some people might want to look into their diet, if you are smearing it all over yourselves or the paper when wiping.
        Those poo germs are all over the place too, to an extent being overly germ phobic is also ridiculous (do you stress so much when people sneeze, fart, cough, burp, scratch?)

          Yeah - doesn't come up. All you get is the measurements on a diagram in JPG. I was hoping for a PDF template that can be printed and put on the toilet to check (as mine is slightly too narrow according to the diagram).

    Purchased last year and happy with the decision . The only drawback is that the seat becomes loose so fast. Tried tighten it many times but didn’t help much. I have the same issue on both the toilets. Not sure if anybody else had the same issue.

    If this is anything like their robot vacs, every time you go to take a dump you'll have to wait 30 minutes while it upgrades the firmware, then can't find the wifi, then can't contact the chinese mainland server… All the while siphoning data from your phone back to TenCent.

    Quick thoughts on this toilet seat given that I've installed two of the older models and this new whale spout one now. The lack of a side-on control panel makes this less user friendly, people who are visiting and haven't used it before would literally have to look behind the toilet seat to see the control panel. Moreover, there isn't a button for all the features, instead you'd have to use a combination of buttons to achieve some of the desired operations. Again, without a manual next to you, you'd be hard press to know what you're doing.
    The seat is tilted which means you'll be slightly leaning forward all the time, which isn't comfortable for everyone. I'd try to pad the bottom of the seat with something to soften the tilt.
    The toilet also requires a connection to your 2.4GHz WiFi if you want to use the Xiaomi app with it.
    Not sure if this was a gimmick with the older models but the Whale Spout doesn't have UV cleaning lights.

    In saying so, the supplier has definitely made it easier to install this toilet seat than the older models. With the first two, I've had to purchase plumbing parts myself including leads and connectors, however, it all came in the one package this time around!

      Thanks for your feedback, what i normally do that i put personal setting at the app and it will remember the setting, most important feature you can use at side control panel. You can schedule self-clean, night light at the app. You can also share toilet seat to your family members by app. If friend use it , it may be hard, this toilet seat most likely design for your family use. All parts is included at the package, much better support than last model.

    Just installed it and pretty happy so far.

    I can't seem to get the night light on or off when I press the stop/dry button and back cleaner at the same time for 2 seconds (as mentioned in manual). I can turn the light on via app, though. Also not sure how the LED is automatically turning on, does the room need to be really dark?

    So purchased this and a few points:

    1) the seat lid is curved, so you need a lot of space behind the toilet for the lid to stay open when in use, otherwise expect it to always be resting against your back while sitting on the toilet seat. Weird design to have such a big/ long toilet seat, alongside a curved lid that requires a lot of room behind (when the behind section is already taken up by the montors) to stay upright.

    2) the angle of the seat is weird, you need to install additional standoffs/ lifters at the front otherwise it does feel like your always leaning forwards.

    3) if your toilet bowl is slightly smaller than normal/ apartment, with the angle and of the seat, expect your front junk to touch the front of the toilet seat bowl.

    4) the app only works when you set the region to China, if you have a Roborock Vacuum like myself, they only work on the Australian server, so constantly need to change region and server in settings to control the two devices.

    Overall it’s great, easy to install, but a few little annoyances

    Received and installed yesterday. Once you go down this path, you'll never be able to go back to wiping your ass with TP.

    With the APP, I'm occasionally getting notification of poor wifi connection. I don't see why it would be an issue as I can get wifi connection there on my phone just fine. Also, I cannot seem to adjust any settings on the app for the rear/bidet (temp, position, flow), but I can adjust other things (seat temp, dry, led, etc.). Has anyone else encountered these issues? I can still adjust them on the seat buttons, but would be nice to also be able to adjust on the App if possible.

    Just a tip when installing, you'll want install the seat as far back as possible while still providing the necessary clearance for the spray nozzle casing. I found that you could go back a bit further than the cardboard guide suggested. As others mentioned, if you don't, you'll probably deal with the front of the toilet bowl protruding in.

    Overall, great purchase.

      As a follow up about the app, it took some time for me to finally get it to work. Firstly, adding the "Whale Spout" did not work at all, I had to add the "Uclean" toilet seat through the Mi Apps. I found it quite cumbersome as it took awhile for the seat to appear in the WiFi connections of my phone (one of the steps in the process). The first time I thought I successfully added it, I could access the app just fine, but none of the functions actually did anything.

      Today I deleted the device from my Mi Home and started the process over again. It took probably a good half an hour as again had difficultly with it finding/connecting to the device, but managed to add it again in the end. Luckily, this time the functions in the app all work as expected.

      Just an FYI in case others are having any difficulty with the app, as it took a fair bit of messing around despite trying to follow the instructions.

    I wouldn't buy anything from Shopro again. My mum placed an oder for a Xiaomi Temp Sensor on 9/12/19. It was being sent directly to me as a Xmas present. Since I didn't know about it, it was Xmas before we realised it didn't arrive. Checked the website and the sensor still says Ready To Ship. Tried emails, messages, Shopro Chat during the first week of . None were responded to. Called and was promised that one would be posted the next day. Nothing happened and we weren't contacted. Emailed again and finally (days later) recieved a response claiming the sensors were out of stock so they'd have to refund it. Website still shows 3 in stock, but fine. Days more later (ie last week) we recieved an email claiming they can't refund as credit card was used, so could they have bank acount details. My details were emailed back. That was 10 days ago. Still no refund or update from Shopro.
    Don't trust them.

      Same issue here! but I can push and hold the seat cover leaning on the water tank for a second or two, and it will stay still.

      Also, you might want to move/install the seat a bit to the front. Although the seat will protrude quite a bit, this doesn't affect anything in my case.
