Also have side control botton. You can set your personal preference at APP and then machine will remember.

      • does it have bidet

Hahaha, acting like you don't. What's the weather like on your pinnacle above the bushfire smoke? Probably quite smuggy.

      • Hahaha, acting like you don't.

        Damn… My secret is exposed.

    • First thing I thought. People who use their phones in the toilet are filthy.

What professional body do you have to belong to qualify for this "Pro" toilet seat?

Same question to iPhone and MacBook Pros.

Does it send my butt data to a big database of butts?

    • +79

I like big butt data and I cannot lie, you other anal-ysts can't deny, when Xiaomi walks in with an itty bitty price and an OzBargain in your face you get SPRUNG!

      • +17

…you get DUNG, stuck down the trough
deep in the bowl it's lurking

Why don't you mention that you can not install the bidet if water pipe comes from inside? Nowadays, most of newest toilet has water pipe inside. Simply connected from the wall directly. If there's no water pipe near the toilet, you can not install it also kind of this toilet is not able to remove seat cover as well.
Do not waste of your money
That actual picture is scam. It doesn't seem to have a water pipe around toilet

    • +5

      Please check solution here

      • That’s dodgy as. Do you warranty that installation method?
And only works if you have a plastic cistern.

        • +3

It doesn't really make a difference, except you need a slightly more expensive diamond hole saw bit.

        • +2

The pic is not a plastic cistern

      • +5

So this method involves drilling a hole through the side of the water bowl?

      • +3

WTF lol. That's not a very good solution.

        • +1

Correct if you're in the good=easy camp.

          • @gimme: It's good if your mate suggested it but not if if a business does.

    • +7

What?! I need a water source, and a power source!!! What a surprise.

      • -3

Yeah this is a very simple answer but there are many people who don't realized their water pipe is inside just like me. Newest house doesn't have it for design

        • +1

          innie vs outie

        • Lol. We have the same thing. We just run the water tube from inside. Just leave the top cover of the cistern sitting on the hose. Hardly that bad, or dodgy. Looks not so clean, maybe. But. Meh. You get overit real quick.it works.

      • +1

Kind of that people check only the power source not the water source…

  • +6

Like this feature:- Pulse massage, give you a new experience
    Haha! I'll pass. Thanks!

    • That's for the ladies.

      • +2

Ladies do not bidet, they dab with a goose.

        • Is that where the term “being goosed” came from ;)

  • +2

so if i take a big dump does the toilet clean the mess?

    • +14

No, it just taps you on the nuts and tells you to do it yourself. Conditions apply.

      • +2

        Conditions apply.

        Nuts are required

        • What if I'm already scratching my nuts?

          • @whucenoath: That would meet the requirement

            • @RSmith: I don't want my hands to touch any part of this. Just me nuts. Thanks.

          • +1

@whucenoath: Be careful, you could be allergic to them, don't want to suddenly get analphylactic shock

            • +2

@BumbaT: Ladies, there’s your excuse. ”sorry, I’m allergic to nuts”.

    • hmm

    • +1

Usually when you crap into the toilet you flush it away. That’s how most people do it any way so whatever the way you take a shit must be interesting

  • Sure it's Heated Air Dryer and not Hair Dryer? :)

  • +2

What if the water supply is on the other side?

    • You have to squat!

    • Same issue I would like to know if a longer hose is the right solution..

    • +1

My toilet has holes that allow me to thread an extension hose through which you can buy from Bunnings pretty cheap.

  • +2

Does it come with butt unlocking feature?

    • +8

      ButtID

    • +1. Access denied.

    • 404 server not found

  • Keen to get one, but the wife isn't so wild about an extension cord running out from the toilet.

  • How long does the carbon air deodoriser last?

  • I plumbed a non electric one myself. Very easy. Got it from amazonAU.
I’ve had it for about a year.
A bit chilly in the winter with the cold water.
And you have to pat dry with toilet paper (as no blow dry of course).

    Very happy with it.

  • -2

Extremely hard to find a toilet that fits. The one recommended was Mondela at Bunnings but it's a very old model with no stock around Sydney.

    • Not true. I installed it on Caroma Caravelle, fit perfectly.

      • +1

Hi. I have a Caroma stylus II Version but I’ve checked the mi sprout and it needs 500mm dimension and I’m lacking of 1.1cm . Does it still able to fit ? I don’t mind some misalignment as long as I can use it. Can u share with me your dimension coz when I had a look for your model it seems like same as my current toilet. Just wanna make sure I can use it :) thanks !

        • Don't do it if less than 50cm. Mine is about 51cm.

        • I have the same toilet and it's fine, it sits slightly longer (1cm) than the front of the bowl. Not a problem.

    • +1

Not true, fits on most toilets. How do I know? I'm a plumber and have fitted several of the older ones on various old and new toilets. On some toilets they are a little bit longer than the bowl (like my own) but it is not a problem and doesn't affect business.

  • +1

With the previous model, did any guys find that…

…not sure how to word this

…that just like a garden hose has a mind of its own and has to directed, that not doing that here would see the gap between the seat and the bowl breached and floor subsequentally flooded?

    • I have the previous model - I've found it to be great - so far no problems..

    • If you missed the bowl even when sitting down, you're the problem rather than the toilet.

  • +4

    Wowwy!.. Water filter included.

OP. Can it also be use as a drinking fountain.

Or good enough to refill water bottles?

Seems perfect for rehydrating when you've got a hangover..puking.. at least itll also clean u.

    • +2

I don't use the water filter that came with this Xiaomi bidet as I don't want to have to shell out money to replace it every 6 months.
      Australian water is clean enough.
I think water filter is just for developing countries where water quality is a problem.

    • Seems perfect for rehydrating when you've got a hangover..puking..

      omfg hahaha

  • +1

Does this work with water plumbing outlets being placed on the right hand side side of the toilet? (When facing/ standing in front of toilet)

If not, how do I cancel my order

    Thank you

    • It will work if you can run the pipe behind the toilet. But if you have a back to wall it won't work.

      • Yeah same here. Toilet is back to wall and tap is on the right side facing the toilet

        • We are building a house and have back to wall toilets. I checked a heap of models and all seem water on left power on right so had the points installed on these sides (extra water on the left so that the cistern water can still be rear feed.

  • +3

    Thanks legend.

Also the amount of dumb questions this product seems to inspire never fails to amaze and amuse me.

  • +2

How many PSI on the knockhole?

  • +1

I thought that these can allow toilet water back into the pipes in your home, making them very dangerous. Is that no longer the case?

    • That is beyond the bounds of any scenario I can think of. You do realise that water comes out of your taps/pipes at pressure, so is one way flow. The water exit point for this is no closer to the toilet water than your cistern exit point and also there is a filter so if by some miracle something tried to backflip it would at least be filtered out.

      • i have no idea. im not a plumber. but someone with plumbing knowledge, one of the first times this product was posted, said that these aren't safe because they dont have some sort of backflow protection. maybe these new models do? i dont know

        • That’s the usual OH&S union people crying foul on anything not Australian and not being fitted by them. The design features on this seat are very high tech and I love mine. I see no valid reason to fear them.

          • @Quarn: reasons. Firstly they don't carry the watermark, a certification that any product connected to the same pipes your drinking water connects to must have. Secondly anything involving water outlets this close to human waste requires certified backflow prevention. Thirdly xiaomi has a history of not complying with Australian electrical standards either, so would not be surprised is this did not have the appropriate certification.

That been said, install it yourself, have some common sense about supplying the power, have a half decent immune system, don't tell insurance if worst case sensation happens ect. Also pretty sure toto bidet seats are legal to install in Australia.

            • +1

@belongsinforums: While there's an element of chicken little in the post, if bacⁿkflow is a concern you can grab a $25 valve to fix it, making any competent bidet installation compliant with pertinent asnzs (apologies for formatting, this is from NSW fair trading):

              Installation
A Toilet Douche Seat is required to be installed so it complies with the below clause.
              AS 3500.1
12.2 BIDET, BIDETTE AND TOILET SEAT DOUCHE
              12.2.3 Toilet seat douches
Where the douche outlet is, in all positions, at least 25 mm above the overflow level of the
pan, backflow prevention is not required.
Where the outlet, in any position, is less than 25 mm above the overflow of the pan, a high-
hazard backflow prevention device, complying with AS/NZS 2845.1 or AS/NZS 2845.2,
              shall be installed.
The drinking water supply shall be protected from the hazard(s) by installing—

              (a) individual protection at each toilet douche seat connection with a high-hazard
              backflow prevention device
              or
              (b) zone protection with a high-hazard backflow prevention device installed on a the
water supply line that serves each Toilet douche seat connection and this water
supply line is separately connected to the main drinking water supply
