    Grabbed one from Wollongong on the way through in black, said nothing in stock online but low and behold.

    Can confirm it comes with clear well fitting hard plastic cover which I'm happy enough with. Now to find a screen protector!

      Let me know if you find any other cases for it. I like the hard case also but I can't help but think in the event I drop it, the case might just transfer all the shock to the phone instead of absorbing it like other cases.

        I haven't found anything for cases - except a black TPU one that seems to get bundled with the phone in Hong Kong markets, and a clear TPU one that's only available in bulk from an Alibaba seller. I'm thinking of just getting a universal silicone bumper and wrapping that around the hard case for some shock absorption

      The screen is OK just like normal IPS screen but not as good as the Xiaomi Mi 9T

    Just wanna say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the headphones - first impressions was they look cheap and plasticky, but the sound quality is actually quite decent! Plus it's super light weight so it's great for my morning train commute.

    I ordered this morning at about 10.30am a white Plex from JB Maroochydore Home. Email from PayPal and funds paid but no email from JB. I log in to my account on the website to see my order listed as paid, click and collect, but fulfillment status: unfulfilled.
    I suppose I'll just wait until tomorrow and call them if I don't receive any communication!

        Tried two versions of gcam so far, 1 would randomly crash, the other would get stuck with the selfie cam. Need to find a stable version.

            @[Deactivated]: Just tried lots of different gcam ports. The ones from 7.2 mostly work with occasional app closes however, the front facing camera still looks like it's either smoothed or not focused properly. The ones taken on the sharp s2 look better, sharper and clearer.

                In didn't seem to crash in my 30secs of testing - it seems to be designed for the pixel 3xl. However, in terms of quality, testing the front facing and the portrait mode seems to be the same for the front facing and worse for the portrait mode compared to stock camera app. There are meant to be improvements in the Android 10 update as well.

                Rear camera seems alright, front facing less impressive.

    Missed out on online and suddenly Osborne Park WA which had no stock showed stock, so I bought my mum one at 1 pm and picked it up at 2pm wst

    Like others said phones comes with shrink wrapped overhead earphones as another box.. Bluetooth only, no 3.5mm cable. USB micro charger for headphones. Phone is Jan C per specs

    Bought this last night at jb. Put it on charge overnight. Batt 100%. Phone wont turn unless its connected to charger. Mustve got a dud.returning today. Nota good first impression.

      Pretty sure there is a reset procedure for this (all android phones, not just the Plex). Ie. holding on + volume, insert charger, hold for 'x' seconds, remove charger..

        Tried this - volume + power button takes you to boot up screen. Tried booting up in recovery mode and nothing. Phone will only start and stay on if connected to charger. Took it ack, got a new one. Fingers crossed.

          DOA's can happen to any product, my mate works for the apple warranty team.

          If you could see the number of those 'touch strip' mackbooks that came back, you'd never call apple a 'premium' product again.
          Cudos to them, they're very goo at keeping the near 70% failure rate of that model quiet…..

          I'm rambling, I'm sure the new one will work fine :)

    For those coming from smaller phones, this phone is a lot heavier from my 5.5" device. The plastic case has a bit of weight as well. Will try to find a silicone one. But there's not many out there at the moment.

    PS. I bought one and compared to my $1200 Oppo Reno 10x Zoom which runs 8GB ram and has a top of the line Snapdragon 855, It's not that much more worse off.
    Screen is vibrant and punchy even though I prefer the OLED panel on my Oppo.

    It feels like a mid-high range phone, Build quality is impressive and actually moves more closer to high range.

    Hard to believe it's only $250 - There would be little margin in it for JB at this price, $50 tops I'd say.
    It will meet the needs of 90% of mobile users out there beside gamers and intensive editing apps.

    I had a play with this in store and it seemed very laggy (currently Sammy S8).

    Owners, is it just the store software that lags and it's fine to use normally?(demo model might have been hamstrung).

    It wouldn't even record more than a few seconds of 1080p video without freezing bad memory use was at 5gb from a reboot. Wondering if thats the normal sd675 experience and if so I might look for a 730g or higher handset.

      I thought it was too, no better than my 5mp s8 camera in the store. Main camera about the same and wide angle was ok though, and who uses the front camera?(lots of people probably, just not me!)
