Going over the other comments, I'd say if you have this much difficulty maintaining a simple web page I don't like the chances of getting any service problems sorted with any degree of efficiency… and being on the Vodafail network, I would anticipate plenty of problems.

Good price but no thanks. You only get what you pay for and I'd rather pay the extra $10/month to get 2.5Gb of extra data and half decent customer support, plus to be on the Optus network, and to have a limited number of 13/etc numbers included each month, AND unmetered Facebook/etc, AND unlimited MMS…

  • Seems decent at face value, especially if compared against Vodafone's $45 unlimited deal. Any thoughts from others?

  • doesn't the $29 cap give you $300 worth of calls and not unlimited? Unless if I'm looking in the wrong section
edit I see the $35 unlimited cap though

no this is the unlimited plan, it is not currently on the website but it will shortly. We apologize for that

Doesn't look as good as the red bull plan, given only 1/10 of the data allowance. Less time commitment I guess but who really intends to port out after a month.

Any mention of Sum cost and data billing increment?

    • +1

Thanks Steptoe. Just looked up the Red Bull options, which look great for data. Another one worth considering.

  • Is it 500MB or 2GB free? http://www.suretelecom.com.au/main/page_products_special_off… states both - which is a little confusing.

    • -1

the 2gb data was remaining from a previous offer and has been amended we apologize for the confusion the website is now updated

  • Vodafone Infinite plans include international SMS & MMS, this does not.

  • This deal is probably better, specially if you dont need much data:

  • Can you call this "no limit sim" if it's coming with all those exclusions?

    • -1

the calls and texts that are included in the no limit plan have no limits

      • +1

Please clarify whether SMS & MMS to international destinations are included.

To be frank, your website is a mess.

        • International calls, mms and sms can be made and the standard charges will be charged depending on the country etc.

  • Do we need to call to purchase and to keep the existing number? Good plan but probably write off the $10 postage fee as well, may be? Does it operate on the new upgraded 850 netwrork of vodafone?

    • The $10 postage fee is what we have to pay to send out the sim card and welcome letter etc.

  • yes you will need to call us to sign up, and we can port your number if desired. yes it does operate on the new 850 network but it depends if your area is covered by the 850 network

check out the excess rate on the mobile internet !! $51,200 a GB !!! probably the same on the voice so watch out !!

P.S how is this a deal not just advertising ? there are better deals than this out there especially when you workout the extra cost of 1300/1800 calls and low included data.

    • It may be the wording that has confused you with this, we wouldn't dream of charging that to a customer. The way the charging is usually done by other companies is in 1mb increments, sometimes 10mb!?! For example: If you were to do a google search on another network and nothing else, you would be charged for 1mb, with this deal you will be charged the exact number of kbs actually used for that search. Therefore, this is a deal that will give you a true 500mb of data to use whereas being on a 4gb plan charged in 1mb increments will actually give you far less data than the 4gb advertised. Does this make sense?

      • calculator issue lol - but its still $512 per GB (billed per kb or not) which is a lot. TPG is "Excess Data charged at 2.75¢/MB (charged per KB or in part)." so $28.16 per GB so about 18 times cheaper.

        • $512 can be reduced to $10 a month for a 1 gig bolt.

Also, I see no Standard Form of Agreement documents available on your website. Where are these documents?

    • -1

We do a voice recording of the entire conversation during the sign up proccess, this voice recording substitutes the legal signed document, however if requested we can send out the application forms by post but it will take a few days to process but regardless the voice recording is still mandatory

      • You are not compliant with the requirement to have SFoA documents available.

They are on the website of every other carrier.

  • How is billing done? PDF, website, email?

    • Billing can be done by email, post or log in to the website

  • $129 Inc GST per month

Huh? You should update your website…

500MB data is pretty poor as well.

    • The website is updated, and the $129 deal was for the mobile plan and the landline plan bundled..additional data of 1gb can be added for $10
