      Yes these are excellent for absorbing/clearing smoke if you live in bush fire areas (or in my case: just bad at cooking)

          I recommend both models as they both have good specs, there's good discussion from other ozbargainers below. The 2H is a very solid option, but I see the value that the 3H provides over the 2H, so it is really up to you to decide whether the 2H or 3H is better suited to your needs and budget.

      Yes I used mine and it worked well, but I'm not in a bad area and I only used it in the bedroom.

      It definitely picked up poor quality air and cleaned it quite quickly.

    If I'm correct the 2H doesn't use NFC tags on the filters, giving you a chance to clean/re-use filters more than once.

    I have a fe of these in the house and they served me well during the bush fire season. They also pickup cooking smell and dust well.

        From my understanding

        2H and 2S are the same in terms of air flow

        2H comes with true HEPA filter (class 13) but no LED / Air Quality (PM 2.5) detection
        2S has LED and Air Quality detection, but only comes with HEPA filter (class 11)

        3H (or 3) is the upgrade version of 2S and 2H
        Has:
        - larger air flow than 2S and 2H
        - comes with true HEPA filter (class 13)
        - has Air Quality detection and LED
        - quieter than 2H, 2S and Pro

        Pro is advance version of 2S
        - it has largest air flow (even higher than 3H)
        - has LED and Air Quality detection, but only comes with HEPA filter (class 11)

        All 2H, 2S, 3H, Pro filters are inter-changeable / compatible

    Silly question but would people buy this to just trap all the dust particles you find on window sills and so forth or would that be a waste of money?

      This would theoretically capture the dust before it settles on window sills etc. Once it's settled, you are better off with a duster, cloth or vacuum cleaner.

      So it depends.

      Pretty sure it works normally on Auto and Night modes by itself, however you won't be able to adjust the Manual setting without the app/wifi.

    Just for those interested in getting the Segway W1 skates, they’re amazing on perfectly flat surfaces, it feels like this is the future of mobility.

    But don’t expect to go anywhere far with it, even small bumps set it off and you’ll end up on your backside.

    On battery life you’ll get 45 minutes on it, but it doesn’t matter as you leg will be cramped after about 20 minutes.

    There are a many cons as a transport device, but a lot of fun as a skating device. Hopefully a future version introduces proper suspension and pneumatic tyres to make it more useful for getting around. But can honestly say at that price, it’s a great buy and a tonne of fun.

    I have air purifier 2 for a while, i always leave it at Auto and I don't know if it help clean the air or not. until few days ago, the air purifier 2 spin so fast automatically when my daughter was making pancake without turning on the range-hood. So i guess this is working.

    I have a large dining area and been tossing between Xiaomi 3H vs Innova Air E20Plus, but Innova Air would costed $1600.

    Got the 2H and it is doing a good job in the background. It makes a slight noise though when on low. When on high it’s like a drone
