I've wanted one for ages. Just placed an order lol.

      • Use Shopback for higher cashback.

    • +1

Exactly.. hence I am self isolating myself from this deal !

      • Saving is right at 99%

  • +1

It says they will call me to discuss delivery costs and time frames. Yeah, naw.

    • +37

      Shipping probably $3000

      • +2

Heh, they have reasonable prices listed here
        https://www.nisbets.com.au/delivery

I bit the bullet and got one (plus some other trivial little thing to get over $50 for the Welcome code)
        Will see what actually happens…

      • +2

Ah you'd like to pick up in-store with click and collect? That will be $5000 thank you.

    • It does say that on all their items…well I tried two random ones anyway

    • this is just helpful to get more people to register on their website before the end of Financial year. so their paperwork will look better.

  • +5

ordered see what happens if your order over 50 ex gst use welcome to get $10 off. Plus free training as well.

  • +1

    Thanks for the post OP!
Let's see what postage costs are if the deal is real.
    Goodluck everyone 😀

  • +5

They don't appear to actually have the item on hand as it is shipped direct from supplier and doesn't have ✔ In Stock

Worth a Nisbets. Order placed, although highly unlikely will be honoured particularly if they need to invoice the and ship from the actual supplier

  • +6

Pretty this was what Luke's Aunt was cooking with in Star Wars

    • +1

I was actually going to say it looks like something from Star Wars with fake buttons painted on

      • This one seriously looks like it’s outa Star Wars. Why is this companies design language from 1970? https://www.nisbets.com.au/robot-coupe-veg-prep-machine-cl50/j491?cm_sp=Peerius--productRecsTop--title

  • +2

Ordered one just for the fun 😁

  • +2

Ordered one, hopefully they will refund if the shipping cost is too high.

  • Lots of cool stuff on their website, I love commercial quality stuff. Fingers crossed but I doubt it.
“Save 99%“ my kind of saving…

  • +12

    Damn…bought one…no idea what for

  • +1

    Bought one

  • +9

Tempting but I suspect it’ll just be lending money to someone for a few days.

    • +5

In this current economic climate you might not be getting it back.

    • +5

In the Great Harvey Norman Asus Tablet Debacle of 2012, my money for 2 tablets was held hostage for 42 days until I threatened to end their interest-free loan by calling the media. Oh, and had the pleasure of being labelled a pseudo-thief by Gerry.

  • -1

Cheers. Doubtful it will go through but if it does I'll have a very happy wife come Christmas.

  • +4

Bought 2…. no sure what for!

    • +4

You'll be thankful for the replacement blades in the second one in 30 years time.

  • +43

If you find an obvious pricing error like this why would you post it on ozbargain?

Just order one yourself and hope it slips through unnoticed from the warehouse.

Post it on here and there is zero chance of them not picking up on the 500 new orders.

    • +5

Too late, Pricehipster.com displayed this deal first

      • +15

….this just makes our 'community' look bad. no-one is going to get one and you lot will create a whole bunch of hassle for an online retailer that doesnt deserve it

        • +3

They get viral publicity and a large number user details they no doubt will be emailing with advertisements. I wouldn’t be surprised if some retailers do this deliberately.

          • +1

@gamemaster: And.. and… they're getting an interest FREE loan on the money you give them!!!!!

    • +1

Sometimes pricing errors get honoured - so its worthwhile giving it a punt
      We're all optimists here

      • +1

The Bose wireless have been honoured for $69

      • Bless Tony Hsieh.

    • Cos it's fun

    • Because people are idiots. I'm betting there'd be thousands of upvotes if BMW / Merc posted a sale for their cars on the web @ $8900 and omitted a few 00's by accident. It's obviously an error and won't be honored, so why bother posting it?

    • -3

Not everyone is selfish like yourself

      • +2

The point isn't selfishness, the point is by having hundreds of people make an order you are effectively killing any chance of anybody getting the deal.

  • +23

    Terms and conditions:

3.3 Occasionally an error may cause the price published or advertised for Goods to be incorrect, in which case Nisbets will be under no obligation to honour the incorrect price.

    • +2

….good work. pity that most of the opportunist buyers will cry fowl when it all goes tits up

      • +16

LOL. I think you mean foul. Fowl are chickens and ducks.

        • +2

The fowl will cry with joy when these orders are cancelled and so many less people are trying to turn them into foie gras.

          • +1

@toasty: The fowl will cry foul when the order is cancelled

  • +2

Ordered 2 just in case with PayPal.

  • +18

..bloody obvious price error. those buying opportunistically are just causing a lot of hassle for this business…bad form ozbargainers.

    • +4

      No chance - no dance

Could be the product compliance certificate is expiring and the manufacturer does not want to renew. Better than him tipping it in the bin. One would never know till you do.

      To each his own.

    • +2

OMG Gerry’s taken over Franco! Or Was it just a grand sale?

    • Lighten up

      • +2

        (3099 clicks and counting)

…how many refunds do you think theyll end up processing unnecessarily from this deal being published here as a 'bargain'?

        • +1

          Ok

      • Francis

    • Key word error, don't make the mistake and shit like this won't happen! 🤷‍♂️

    • Hassle created by the business, they are selling we are buying…

  • +7

It's letting me add 1000 to my cart. No one is getting this machine at this price.

  • +26

Zero chance this will be honoured.

3.3 Occasionally an error may cause the price published or advertised for Goods to be incorrect, in which case Nisbets will be under no obligation to honour the incorrect price.

    • Yes, under consumer law retailers aren’t required to honour genuine pricing errors. The same clause has been on Bunnings, coles, airline and many other website when pricing errors occurred which worked out very well for those who took a punt.

      • +1

LOL "I rate them 1 star, worst business ever… for having a typo on their website"

    • +1

yeah, wonder if they do this on purpose. Now at least 14,454 (going by the number of clicks) know Nisbets. Had no idea this existed before.

      • +8

        No they don't.

        It's a hassle for them
        Potentially upsets people
        Costs them money
They need to do thousands of refunds
        Etc

    • +1

Ordered one for no reason. " be optimistic- you need to buy the lottery ticket to win it"

  • +1

Caught my eye. Then thought, what if it was free - would I get one?

  • This is like that Pablo Escobar phone scam… you'll all probably just get a recipe book lol… jk, I'm tempted but my bullet does everything I need atm. GL guys👍

    • +5

You made me laugh, I bet you even call them to point out their mistake.

      • -3

….this aint a deal. its bs

        • +9

it's a deal until proven otherwise.

          • +2

            @xcornx: Guilty until proven innocent!

          • @xcornx: On the contrary, I said it's not a deal. So there, how do you like them apples? 🍏🤔

        • Your all good to leave OZB, don’t be so sad about this post!

          • +2

@Okayy: ….how about you post more than one deal in 3 years and actually contribute?

            • +4

@franco cozzo: I told ya don’t be so sad. Relax! 😆 I can see your NEG revoked and your so hurt!

    • Ok boomer. I have a suspicion that you're an imposter Franco Cozzo… 🤔

The real Franco is a spark of life and definitely isn't a sour grapes, whiny old crank!

  • +3

Ordered one and a utensil to get it over $50. Although it is unlikely this will be honoured, there is always a chance these are being liquidated for a reason we don't know, so I thought it was worth giving it a go. I've ordered through PayPal with pay after delivery so hopefully I won't be out of pocket at any time if it's cancelled.

    • yeh sure…they obviously need the room
      $2.5-4K RRP…and you want one for $50?
      https://www.google.com/search?q=Robot+Coupe+Robot+Cook+Comme…

    • +2

How do you get the option to pay after delivery?

      • +2

Um sorry, I don't know how to select it specifically. PayPal intermittently offers it as an option to me at specific retailers, I assumed Nisbet was one of them

      • Have to select debit card

  • +6

I don’t buy I’m too busy cooking popcorn
