      • Very nice! When did you last check and are you in WA? :-)

        • Yes WA, checked right before posting that comment.

          • @flooressence: Good news that someone in WA is getting theirs at least haha

            • +1

@MBix: Very good news. I'm just jealous it wasn't me :P

              • +1

@Frayin: hahaha it's a fine line between being happy we are getting seemingly a good monitor at a good price and accepting the wait and the utter sadness of not having it yet!

  • Ordered Aug 2, got an email saying expected delivery date Oct 19. Received it about 20 minutes ago, was not notified that there was any change to expected delivery date.
Not complaining though, very happy surprise!

  • I ordered Aug 1st and just got mine today too! Looks great from what I can tell. I did email dell support on the 21st and got this reply 'The updated estimated date of delivery of your order is 3rd September, 2020.' So there is definitely hope for an earlier order even if you got an updated shipping date!

  • I received mine today but already purchased the alienware 34inch. Anyone want to buy it off me ? Sydney

    • I'm interested!

  • +1

28th August 2020 - 176 units probably got their shipments early and this is the amount they're sending out in random order.

    • makes me wonder how they execute their order fulfillment…

it's clear its not by Order time anymore, nor what codes were used… SO I guess its alphabetical order by first name or some weird thing like that :D

      • Wondering this myself, know of a couple people including myself in WA (two ordered 1/8 myself on the 2/8) who haven’t got theirs. A manager assured me I would receive mine in the 17/8 batch, and said they were fulfilling by order time but that’s obviously out the window. I’m all good waiting until October but just the uncertainty of it definitely arriving then leaves me a bit nervous, was on the verge of biting the bullet on the LG equivalent but then this popped up

        • Just got an email updating my ETA from 22/10 to 30/8. With the way dell has been fulfilling their orders, I'll believe it when I see it!

          • @BrgnGirl: I'm jealous! When did you order? I'd log into your Dell account and check the order in there, if you're in WA you'd assume it's being sent out today or tomorrow and will arrive Monday. But who knows! I received another email today saying 30th of September and that they are definitely sending them out by time of order (doesn't seem like it haha)

            • @MBix: I ordered it 1/8 at approx. 5pm EST
The delivery details in my account haven't changed so I'm skeptical of the updated "around 8/30/2020" ETA.
We know the time of order delivery is a lie so hopefully your one gets delivered sooner than 30/9.

      • Can't be alphabetical or I'd definitely have mine.

        • +1

          How are you, Aardvark Adams?

  • +2

    Ha ha ha thanks dell
Just got a email update from dell US saying my eta has changed from October to 23/8

    Already have them both.

  • +6

I just got an email from support with a revised ETA of 30/09 (from 15/10) so hopefully it comes sooner!

    • Same

    • Same here. Got updated to 30/8 from 19/10.

      • 30/8 is in three days, do you mean 30/9?

        • +1

Nope, mine is 30/8. Here's the quote from the email:

"The updated estimated date of delivery of your order is around 8/30/2020"

          • @Oppin: Oh, wow. That’s pretty nice. I hope it’s accurate and you get it by then.

        • Nice good luck! Mine was 19/10 (not 15/10 typo!) and I ordered on 02/08 at 8.30am

      • Nice, mine is updated to 30/8 too.

      • Has the estimated delivery date in your order status in your Dell account changed date too?

    • I'm also on the 30/09/2020 team, revised down from 19/10/20. Bit of a broken email though, as there's no link to my order page or any reference on it. I checked my order page and it still shows 19/10/2020 as the estimated delivery date.

Let me know if you guys get yours early.

  • +2

My ETA has been revised from 22/10 to 30/09

    • Same two dates here

      • same here…are you based in QLD?

    • I just received some sort of a copy of an invoice, so I guess they're dispatching mine soon.

  • I used both codes on the Sunday.

Originally had delivery date as 22/10.

    Just got an update email:

    Dear Valued Customer,

    Greetings from Dell.

We refer to your recent purchase of the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor. We are experiencing a higher than expected demand and facing fulfillment delays for this Monitor.

The updated estimated date of delivery of your order is around 9/30/2020

Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to have your order delivered as soon as possible. If you do not wish to wait for your order based on the updated estimated delivery date, please reach out to our customer service team who will be happy to assist you further.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. If you have any questions please visit us at our Order Support Page.

As always, we value your business with Dell.

    • Same. Probably all those people that cancelled their orders, helped push up the date for us :D

    • i got this email as well

    • Just received also, hoping it arrives earlier

    • +1

Same boat updated email, only the dell site still shows 19/10. Happy if arrives end of next month.

  • So jealous of everyone here! You lucky people! Ordered 1st August, no updates, still ETA 19/10. In contact with a CS rep that takes a week to respond every time and all she can tell me is that I should get it in October. Frustrating how random it is! I'm in Melb, anyone from Melb got an update?

    • +2

I'm from melb, no update - still 19/10.

    • Is her name Rubi by any chance? Sounds similar to the person I have been dealing with. All I know is their stance they're being sent out by order time definitely isn't case.

      • +1

Haha yes! Guess she's got a few of us hassling her. Her English isn't the best unfortunately.

  • I would also like to report that I've received my monitor today. No emails or msgs. Ordered 02/08, cc charged the next day. Immediately got the 14 Oct ETA. Great surprise

    • What time on the 02/08 did you order?

    • Did you check your order online to see if it changed to shipped?

      • I haven't yet. Literally picked it up abt 10mins ago and driving home. Thought I was picking up my new headphones lol. Will check online the status of order when I get home.

@MBix ordered abt 2pm'ish. EDIT: it was 12PM

        • Thanks for the reply :) Obviously nothing can be done I'm just curious as heck about when people ordered and how they're fulfilling them!

          • @MBix: UPDATE: Got an email from Dell this morning (9:43) stating a change of delivery to 30 Sept. On the Dell site it acknowledges the order as being 'Shipped'. Not updated to delivered.

Shipping slip says 25/08… so idk how they are processing these.

            Good luck everyone

    • Got to ask a noob question cause I wasn't expecting to get this so soon. To run this monitor at 165hz, do I need a particular display port cable?

      • I think there is one provided in the box, however check your GFX card to ensure it supports DP 1.4 as this will be the limiting factor.

      • 165Hz via Displayport is only supported in Displayport version 1.4 so like SkeletoR22 says check that your GPU supports DP1.4 (if not you can check for it and update the firmware if on nvidia - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/ - not sure about amd) and have a display port 1.4 cable ready

      • Cheers guys. I have a Asus TUF 1660 Super and according to its specs it has a 1.4 DP port. So I can rock down to the local and pick up any DP cable? I'm not looking for a cable that is like 'certified' 1.4? Cable specs confuse me.

        • +1

The Monitor comes with a 1.4v DP cable. You won't need to buy one.

      • +2

Just to clarify desktop GPU support for DisplayPort 1.4:

        NVIDIA
        * Maxwell architecture and newer (GTX 745, 750, 750 Ti, all 900-series and newer)
        * Some Maxwell and Pascal graphics cards may require a firmware upgrade to support DisplayPort 1.4

        AMD
        * Polaris architecture and newer (RX 460 and above, RX 540 and above, all RX Vega and newer)
        * Therefore, AMD APUs using Vega-based graphics support DisplayPort 1.4, but only if your motherboard has a DisplayPort 1.4 output

        Intel
        * To my understanding, no current Intel desktop processor has integrated graphics with support for DisplayPort 1.4. All recent desktop processors should have graphics based on Gen9.5, which is limited to DisplayPort 1.2 and therefore should support 2560x1440 @ 144 Hz.
        * Gen11 graphics brought support for DisplayPort 1.4, but is only available on Ice Lake products which are only found on laptops.
        * Future Xe graphics products will support DisplayPort 1.4 at minimum, with Xe-LP on mobile Tiger Lake supporting DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0.

As far as cabling goes, it might be worth ensuring you've got a good quality cable. I've had friends and family purchase cheap cables that have only resulted in 1080p @ 60 Hz support even when connected up to a DP1.4 capable output. VESA themselves suggest that most decent cables should support HBR2 transmission just fine, which allows for up to 2560 x 1440 @ 144 Hz. This display should include a cable in the box.

Just a quick clarification for those asking. I ordered at 6:30pm 02/08, used both codes and paid using CC. My order was delayed to 19/10 a few days later. This morning's email stated the estimated date had been updated to 30/09, however the Dell website still shows 19/10 with an (updated) tag next to it. My order does not yet show as being shipped, and I haven't contacted CS once throughout this process.

Based on some other comments, it seems quite random as to what dates people have been assigned, and some people are either receiving their monitors or have received them already with no real rhyme or reason, and not a lot of communication either.

Just have to continue to be patient, I suppose.

    • Yeah, similar to you but ordered on 01/08 with only the first code. ETA pushed to 19/10, then today got email saying 30/09. The web order shows not shipped. Based in Sydney.

      Seems like its all random.

  • Anyone in Mel has received the monitor, I am bit.concerned that the delovery is suspend due to stage 4 lock down.

    • I'm suspecting similarly for those of us in W.A. Our orders i'm thinking will be fulfilled last.

    • I got mine. I'm from Melb.

No reason to think delivery services would be suspended in Stage 4 lock downs.

      • The shipment seems randomly, if this is not due to lock down.

        • That seems more reflective of Dell's stock and dispatching side rather than delivery and courier services but if you want me to say that delivery is suspended due to Stage 4 lock down then I can say that too?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

          • @tof: I ordered on 2/8/2020 9:30am, base in Melbourne. Got a email from Dell saying it will be delivered around 30/09,although the CSR mentioned the shipment is based on order sequence, which is obviously not the case. I checked my account twice a day with no luck, still shows “confirmed". Seems my order will be fulfilled in the last batch.

    • yes got my two, a few days apart.

      worth the wait.

  • Has anyone who ordered 2 got 2 separate emails for the new delivery dates? One of them show 23/9 with the next one being 30/9 yet on the website still shows estimated delivery at 20/10. Purchased at 9pm on the 1st.

    • Had a chat with CS, supposedly the emails i have received with the new dates are just automated incorrect emails and my order is still on for the 20/10 delivery date? Oh well.

  • Also got the 30/9 email but no change reflected in my order page which still says 22nd Oct. Ordered 2nd, Paypal, both codes, QLD.

  • Got an email 4.5 hours ago. Delivery moved from 19 Oct up to "around" 30 Sep.

I have not contacted Dell at all as I'm content to wait.

Ordered on 2/08/2020 3:32 PM AEST, Melbourne, with both discount codes.

  • I recieved an email saying my ETA will be 30 Sep.

Ordered on Sunday 9:51pm AEST with both discount codes.

  • +1

Ordered Sunday 9am with the one code. Still no sign.

  • I ordered Aug 1st from the post before (that didn't include the "ECU5" coupon), and got the following order confirmation email from US_Dell:

"The updated estimated date of delivery of your order is around 8/30/2020" [American date format i.e. 30th August]

What's strange is that my AU page still shows 19/10/2020.

  • Have got all my 3 monitors today. I have recently replaced my Dell 34" IPS monitor with the Xiaomi 34" because it has 144hz. I thought the Xiaomi was good. Now I have this Dell next to it, god damn, the Xiaomi now looks inferior. I may set it up as 3 monitors, 2x27" and 1x34". May have to offload the third one.

  • Unfortunately the order is still on hold due to monitor part shortages due to high demand. The parts are expected to be fulfilled by 19th of Sept 2020. The order will be delivered within 4-5 days once the parts are fulfilled. (Which is probably the 25th like everyones update ETA)

Again everyone saying their order update is 30/09. It's just general statistic just like before it's not guaranteed. Just like my order for end of August and then some other people getting it at the end of august.

    • Yeah I got the same email too but no date was mentioned, this is what I got:
"Please be informed that your order is still on hold due to part shortage and we are currently waiting for the stock replenishment. Please let me know should you have any question."

I replied to that email and she said will receive the stock by end of August or by early September. It's just hilarious because my brother ordered on the same day as I which was the 2nd of August but he ordered it at around 1pm where as I ordered at 8:30pm. He received his order a couple of days ago, and they didnt even send an email, he just checked his order and it said shipped then the order arrived the next day.

This is total BS, just sick of waiting for this order cant believe people are already receiving theirs at random. Soo jealous of my bro wish I got mine as well, he sent me pictures of it too.

      • +1

I'm jealous of people getting 2/3 at a time lol.

  • I haven't received any emails or notifications, but I just manually checked my order on their site and it says 'shipped.' Guess I'm getting it by surprise in the next days, like some others have commented recently.

  • Shipped 25/08/2020 , arriving Monday (31/08).

    • You're so lucky mate, I'm so envious of people who are getting theirs early.

  • Ordered on 02/08/2020 around 7 PM using both codes. Bought the monitor for my bf for his birthday and was hoping to get it on time ):
Haven't received any emails or updates. Dell Order Status ETA still remains 19/10/2020. Hopefully this is worth the wait

  • Ok, just by using the order status search on the Dell page I found that order # 876160641 might have been the latest order # delivered for the most recent batch, which, going by the trucked out date, seems to have been shipped on 25/08 (as were a bunch of others that I saw delivered). Order # 876161193 might be the first one ordered on 02/08 (not delivered yet).

Not sure how/why Dell has delivered on some orders done on 02/08 over those on 01/08 (I didn't bother trying to search for any delivered for 02/08 order dates).

My order # is in the 8761614xx range, and there are orders up to 876162xxx. Hopefully those of us in the 19/10 est delivery will be in the next batch sent out. I'd say 20-25% of the random numbers I checked were for the monitor, the real percentage may be very different.

    • I've been given very mixed messages, an email sent out on Monday this week for me:

"As per mentioned in the previous email, we are expecting to receive this part in stock latest by end of August 2020 or the early of September the latest, however, we are working with vendor or suppliers to expedite and get stock at the earliest.

Please be assured that all attempts are being made to prioritize your order.

Will let you know should there have any progress on the order."

I called up Dell just a few minutes ago and she said I might be getting the shipment at end of September or early October so I dont know anymore. I'm just frustrated, mad and the wait killing me :(

    • My order is also within your order range, but not delivered yet. I have to send a email to Dell for asking why they are not delivered by sequence.

      • You mean your order # is below 876160641? Man I would be spewing.

        • Mine's also below that by a couple hundred.

          • @Yuri Lowell: Damn you are unlucky, 876160434 was delivered 04/08 (last for that date). I found one, 876160447, which is still at unsuccessful delivery (27/08), hope that wasn't yours. But the rest I randomly found around those numbers were all delivered.

            • @snackerjoe: Actually I think I misread. Mine's actually 876161### so I guess it's not out of the ordinary haha.

    • hahaha found an order for the monitor in the 876163xxx range - # 876163099…

But yes interspersed by other item orders. I really would love to know how many they sold in total…

      • Oh that order is on the 3rd, I didn't bother checking for orders past the 2nd as I thought the deal expired then. Actually I just checked the original deal and it seems the coupon was still working after the expiry date.

    • I can see a lot of order have been cancelled, but still lot of orders prior to my order are not yet delivered, long wait then.

      • +2

Yeah there are orders for 01/08 not delivered yet.

I think your order # is above 876160641 since you said before you ordered on the 2nd. 876160641 seems to be the last one delivered for the batch shipped 25/08 but I could be wrong.

I don't see how orders made on 02/08 could be delivered already if the earliest order made on that date is still not shipped yet (I made a mistake, 876161193 was cancelled, 876161194 is the earliest one not delivered for 02/08).

        • My order is #8761614* range, not sure sure how many orders prior to my order which are not delivered. But I have feeling most likely will be delivered late Sep. which they have big batch delivered to Dell.

          • +1

@UAT: Just to rub salt into the wound, here's one that got ordered after us but delivered already - 876161509.

Actually I don't mind getting mine a bit later because I ordered on the 2nd but I don't know why Dell is not delivering for those who ordered on the 1st first.

Anyone have a screenshot of the $507.93 price?

Now I really can't wait to get mine. Sounds really good.

      • +1

Yeah lol I know the feeling. It's not like I wasn't already counting down the weeks …

Mine arrived today and I love it so far.

  • Recieved the email last Thurday from Dell US with an updated delivery date of 30.8.2020 down from 19.10.2020. I've been checking my order page every day and today it has been marked as shipped!! So excited :D

    • Lucky! What day did you order?

      • 1st of August at about 3pm AEST.
