    Little bit disappointed mine wasn't sent out with the recent second batch after being told I would be in the 17/8 allotment but to be fair a lot of misinformation was being thrown around while the CSR's were under the pump so still happy enough to wait.

      Lmao same I got so many emails that all of them were wrong. My eta kept on moving down to October but then got moved back up to september. I'm just going to wait and hold onto this and when another deal for another monitor pops up order that and cancel this. Only reason not cancelling right now because the deal is too great.

      BTW did you use the 5% off code or just the other code?

        I ordered one on the Saturday then saw the other code so ordered another with both codes on Sunday. Stupidly I cancelled my first order which had Cashback on it too so really I ended up paying more with a huge delay instead of getting it a few days later haha. No ones fault but mine, and not at all disgruntled with Dell besides of course being told by a Rep I was in the shipment that was arriving at Dell on 17/8. Other than that I’m in the same boat if another great deal pops up before this ships I’ll cancel this one but otherwise all good about waiting.

          I think you'd still be waiting mate. I ordered one early afternoon of 1/8 without ECU5 code and paid via PayPal - am still waiting with ETA showing as 22/10. Got the review email which just adds salt to the wound!

            @BrgnGirl: That's probably true, I did order within minutes of seeing the deal pop up however, on one hand it's a little annoying they continued selling them well after the stock was running dry, on the other hand they've done well to source additional monitors to honour the deal.

        I contacted dell support and asked for an updated estimated delivery date. they replied that the delivery date would change when more stock arrives in australia. Dell said they would negotiate with the supplier to speed up production and delivery.

    arrived today. im no expert in monitors, but this is really stunning! the customer service at dell, i dont think they did that much but i think i got mine 'earlier' than expected (original expected date was october, then september) becuase i did reach out to them. hard to say. either way, a pleasant surprise.

    I asked before but could anyone test it with the Xbox One X and see if it supports 1440p 120Hz? Would really appreciate it. I still haven't received mine but that would be a deciding factor whether to keep my order…

      I'm pretty sure the xbox one x doesn't do 120hz at any resolution…

      Edit: Perhaps it does, but it doesn't seem to make any difference and you'll still just be getting 60fps.

        It does and does help with responsiveness (even if the game is running at 60fps or below). But the main reason I'd like to know is that the Series X will have 120fps games and it would be a good indication that the monitor would support it. For whatever reason, many 1440p 144Hz monitors don't allow 120Hz on XB1X due to lacking the EDID information, I think it's mainly due to many VA panels being limited to FreeSync 100Hz over HDMI but this is different for IPS (I'm pretty sure the LG nano IPS supports it now).

    I keep reading your updates and checking my order thinking they might've forgotten to email/sms me but alas, the ETA is not budging :(

        Reading everyone's experience with it all, Dell's processes sound inconsistent.
        Guess I can only hope that the email about reviewing the monitor I'm yet to receive is an indication I'll be getting delivery soon (or at least in Sept and not Oct).

      Doesnt matter if your ETA updates or not. I had mine pushed back. "end of August" "end of October" hmm oki. Good news though "September is your new date on the 8th" YAY; "Sorry, September 25th and shipment 4-5 days later", "Again, Sorry October." "Updated currently at September 25th" … Like what? I've sent 1 email but haven't heard back.

        I got my monitor yesterday, ordered August 1st in the afternoon without the ECU5 code. In terms of emails I received an email every now and then giving different dates of dispatch, first October 19th, then sometime in September, then a later date in September and then an earlier one. Last Friday I got another update saying it would arrive September 19th, with no mention of it shipping. Following that I checked the order on Dell's website and saw it had been shipped (the same day they said it wouldn't arrive until Sep 19th!). I never got an email saying it had been dispatched, so would recommend that you keep an eye on your my orders screen.

        My initial impressions are that it's an awesome monitor. I'm not the most knowledgeable on displays, but it's super crisp and the high refresh rate is smooth as. My Surface Book 2 is having trouble displaying HDR for general desktop work (I think it's the cable), but in games it looks great and for general use too. I plugged my original PS4 in and it looks popping too. I wish I had a PS4 pro to test the higher resolution/refresh rate!

          got one of mine yesterday too, was hoping for both as a surprise.

          setup just now in dual monitor with asus pg279qe and is pretty nice and clean. need to adjust the setup to match compared to my asus which was perfect out of the box.
          note: only on surface output at 60hz, will plug the gaming pc in later

          Yeah I wonder if the orders are being sorted by name or customer number on their system instead of order number or time.

          Wouldn't normally matter (for high volume orders I'd say it would be a single company ordering bulk) but high volume spread across multiple customers would make it seem not fair at all.

    Mine has also just been shipped this afternoon! Ordered the morning of 2nd August, and I used the 5% discount code too.

    The only emails I received were "Your order is delayed" on August 5th, and a review email the other day. No additional updates since then. I also haven't yet received an email or SMS notification alerting me it's been shipped: just checked my order status from Dell website.

    I honestly think they're just shipping random orders out no matter what time you ordered. I ordered using the "auaffiliates15%off" from the previous deal on the 1st Aug around 2pm (less than 1 hour after the deal was posted) that day and after looking at these comments i see a bunch of people who ordered later from this deal getting their orders sent/received. :(

    Update for anyone that's interested:
    I just received my monitor today (26/08) after ordering late with a cached cart on 3/08. I got the order confirmation with "Estimated to Arrive By: Oct. 16, 2020" immediately.

    I didn't contact Dell or request any ETA updates and was happy to wait. I didn't receive any other communication from Dell except for a request to review the monitor I didn't have yet.

    Bit surprised I didn't receive any email or SMS updates on shipment after signing up for it, however no biggy in this case since I received my monitor early!

        I use North Bayou F80 mounts which are really good. I use 3 individual mounts as I find I have more flexibility.
