    So got confirmation from Dell customer support that my order is under stock constrain with an ETA in the 2nd week of September. I ordered on Sunday afternoon (02/08). Looks like all our orders are scattered across the year. In fact the monitor itself has also been removed from the site! Truly Ozbargained lol.

    i called dell this morning - i asked about since it still says in production (ETA 11/8) - the rep told me there seems to be no problem with my order and it should arrive next week

    i wasnt very convinced so i said i friend of mine ordered the same model on the same day and was told by dell there are delays.. she couldnt give me a proper answer and said to call be friday O_o

    An update here from my experience with Dell CS earlier. They said that there is a shortage and they won't have stock until September 18th, I ordered on August 1st around 4ish. I also put in an email ticket and they didn't give an ETA at all.

    My order still shows 11th August delivery and the packing slip shows that it should have been sent yesterday (it wasn't).

    Ordered Sunday morning, paid with cc and have the estimate delivery date of 6/8 which looks unlikely like others have been saying.

    I can see the transaction in my CC account, but it's been marked as pending since Sunday. Is that because they charge it only when they ship it? Or is it a sign of some problem that I need to sort out with Dell before anything will progress?

      I purchased a monitor through Dell online about 2 weeks ago via Paypal and payment went through the same day. Product shipped within 2 business days. This time, having purchased through Paypal again Sunday evening, payment is still pending with this message "This is a temporary authorisation to make sure your payment method can cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when Dell Australia completes your order."

    With all these calls from ozbargainers, Dell should put an IVR. I’ve also ordered on 2nd of August in the afternoon and saying 6th is the arrival date. That’s alright it saves me from switching my monitors for the time being

    Not much success with Dell CS. Told me it definitely won't be coming tomorrow and she'd email me an ETA when she finds out. I'm pretty skeptical about that last part but we shall see. For what it's worth I ordered late Friday like 11.55pm and still have the same ETA of 06/08.

    Ordered 02/08 around 8pm. ETA of 06/08, payment not debited (PayPal). Just confirmed with Dell CS there is part shortage (not mentioned which part), parts fulfillment expected 29/08, expected delivery 31/08.

      Based on the differing responses, i'd expect there's some level of uncertainty or confusion between the reps.

      Also consider, the date provided may just be the estimate for your order, not others.

        Yeah I usually take what the CS say as just an estimate because all of them are saying different things. Someone particularly has the dates for ALL of the shipment coming in. Grain of salt as well.

    My Dell customer support story. Basically was told their next shipments were at 17th August and 28th August. They will notify me when they ship it out and theres nothing else we can do but wait. They know it's out of stock due to a promotion.

    Just got an email from Dell (as did everyone else it seems) saying my order has been delayed (whoa, so surprising).

    Estimated delivery date for me is October 19th. I placed my order on Sunday 02/08 at about 6:30pm, used both coupon codes, and ordered using CC (not PayPal).

    My order has been delayed till oct 19, 2020 but I ordered on Aug 2nd 1am. How come Dell was expecting like september arrival date. October 19th is like 3 and a half months away. This is a bit too far fetched. Man even the cash rewards gets confirmed faster then this….

    Ordered Sunday 1:02pm, delayed till Oct 19.
    I order Dell products at work and their 'delayed estimates' are usually on the generous side. I've had about laptops delayed for 6 weeks and come 2 weeks later.
