I reckon this is an amazing deal.

Make sure you select click and collect on the website when you preorder to get this offer.

Preorders commence online on 22nd September

Alternatively, you can get the Series S version for $299 when you trade in your Xbox One S but no one would want a stovetop.

EB world is eligible for this offer so if you are on level 4, that’s $420 off the console price itself

Note: Confirmation from EB Games rep If you place an online preorder for collection in store, you don't have to trade in until release day. Which means you can secure this deal and still use your Xbox One X until release day.

    Sweet got it at 8:01. Had one error upon checkout asking me to refresh/retry, and then I did and it worked.

    Haven't bought any accessories yet eg rechargable battery kit for $30. I'm thinking I might just wait and see how I go since accessories usually go on sale, and I plan to use my Xbox One Elite v2 anyway.

      It mentions you can pay the balance using various forms of payment including trade ins, and then EB has plastered the trade in value of Xbox One X everywhere with a commitment that the trade in values will be honoured until 31 January 2021.

      From memory it's the third option down, but you need to enter the code in, then the pin, then click verify, then agree to use the balance. It's a bit cumbersome and probably not what you want to deal with during a frenzy.

        I actually signed in a couple hours earlier and put down a random pre-order on Cyberpunk just to get my credit card details saved in their system. Not sure if that's what helped me here, but for me it was smooth sailing. Only the final purchase button took any time and it was all of 5 seconds. Confirmation email on gmail is showing an 8:00 AM arrival time.

    EB games site sucks. I logged in before 8am to preorder and kept getting stuck at Check out page. Eventually it keeps erroring and asking me to login multiple times till it tells me my login limit has been reached. wtf. Why would you tell customers to try preorder online when your website can't handle the volume. Just let the stores handle the preorders!

        Yeah you're right they say that on Twitter but on their website next to the three hour timer it says release date November 10 as well as on their homepage. It looks as though Harvey Norman is only selling the Series S. Might just take a punt with JB. A shame as I wanted to take adavantage of the Xbox One X trade in deal with EB
