Grey import with only 12 month warranty, right?

    • Yeah this company has a bad rep dealing with warranties.

      • Ow price beat?

No local warranty for a merely ~$30 savings?

    • It doesn't matter where you buy to get local warranty with Apple.

      • +9

Wrong. You'll get the 12 month worldwide warranty instead of the 24 month local Australian warranty + australian consumer law protection.

  • Nice try 😉

LOL, lose warranty and wait around for ages to save $40!

You can just get local stock cheaper than this. $611 with gift cards from Jb Hi-FI

If it’s cheaper somewhere else then price match and get extra discount

For those eligible to buy gift cards.

    First deal, please crucify.

A welcome change from "First deal, please go easy

  • I'd buy it to upgrade from my oneplus 5t but I can't go back to that kind of screen ratio -_-

  • "buy cheap, pay twice" I read this somewhere.

FYI Officeworks will not price match Tobydeals as it's not AU stock so don't bother.

    • As an added bonus they won't match, 'oh bad luck you need warranty, lol' policy

    • They are sneaky, they changed policy to say they will pricematch any .com.au website and then came up with other excuses to not price match.

FWIW I bought a Nokia 8.1 over a year ago from Toby Deals and with one weeks warranty left the USB port stopped working. I contacted Toby Deals and asked about a warranty repair and they said "Yep no worries". They sent an international RMA label and I sent it off (to Hong Kong). It took 6 weeks to fix and return but all in all was pretty painless and didn't cost me a thing. So …. I wouldn't say they are hopeless as I have had far worse experiences with Australian warranty repairs. YMMV.

Pay an extra $38 to buy it locally & officially & with warranty and avoid dealing with Toby - they are the devil.

  • If you don't mind waiting months on end for your phone. Terrible service and horrible communication. AVOID at all costs!!!!

  • Guys why don't you think from the good side that Tobydeal can offer a phsically dual nano sim iphone but not the Au fake dual sim (esim + ture sim)?
