        I’ve cancelled 3 orders with Dell and it’s pretty simple, no questions asked. They’ll send you an email once it’s processed and you get your refund a couple of days later.

        I’d wait for LiMaa to give us an update before you cancel though, just in case

    I'm really mad.

    Delivery date was supposed to be today (23rd). Customer service then told me it will get shipped out Monday (26th) and delivered on (28th).

    Just got a December shipping date email.

    What a load of horseshit. (profanity) Dell.

        I mean, the automatic general ETA email DID come out 5 hours later after speaking to Dell support.

        I appreciate the deal (thank you for organizing and posting it) and it's not at all your fault, but Dell should reconsider if automated emails are an appropriate system to have. Easy way to upset customers.

    I just got an email saying 11 Dec new estimated date, but I don’t think that’s accurate. OP said they’ll be out by first week of November or sooner and I think that’s more reliable than the Dell website’s estimate.

    Got the email new ETA is 11 Dec 2020. well done dell.

    I just checked the their online store (website) if you try to buy a new one at the price of $639.20 then it tells me "Estimated delivery time of 10 Days". So they are not fulfilling our orders but keeping enough stock for customers who pay more. if they don't have any stock then it should not be available at their website. (profanity) disgrace Dell. not cool not cool at all.

      That's not the case at all, Dell doesn't selectively hold stock for those who pay more, if anything these deals are organised and shipping guaranteed to secure stock for YOU guys. I put a lot of effort into getting accurate shipping for these deals. Assumptions are yucky, just ask instead.

        After I received the email, I checked their website there I saw the ETA for new order which was 10 days I got mad. I was not happy with that at all. That comment was the only thing that made sense to me, didn’t even think that it could be a computer error. I admit that I did jump the gun, probably should have waited for a clarification but I still think that there are some company’s who would do that. You trusting Dell and knowing that they wouldn’t attempt something like that doesn’t mean that everyone else should think the same way. Although I was dead wrong in this case I still have the right to post my opinions and you have the right criticize them.

        However, I never meant to point any fingers at you. I apologize if I've offended you in anyway.
        I thank you for your hard work and all the effort you put into organizing this and all your other deals.

    This is a joke.. You had no stock and should not have sold them. 15th of December is unacceptable. How do I cancel order and get refund. When I buy and not pre-order I expect my product within 2 weeks within Australia. First and last time I order from Dell.

      We need confirmation about this ASAP. You can't advertise something that's in stock and say "400 units" available then shaft 90% of the orders till December.

      You're incorrect, stock is available, it's on its way for timely delivery, the email you received is an inaccurate automatically generated ETA based on internal factors. I hope your opinion of Dell changes when you receive your product. Cheers.

    Currently this monitor has a 20% discount in the online store and with the BONUS7 code, it costs $594. Do you suggest me to wait till black Friday and if you think you can get a better price than the current one I have now? Cheers.

        • I haven't specified any shipping ETA for black Friday. Black Friday would be late Dec delivery, but depending on couriers during holiday season, could be Jan. Closer to the date will have more accurate shipping forecasts.

                  People need to stop stressing, be patient and wait for my update. :)

                    • @Dan_: The outrage is/was completely reasonable when the specified shipping dates got overshot from early as Nov to being backorders for mid December. Some getting their orders days after the sale didn't help. Dell's automatic delay system is to blame here and I don't think anyone complaining is/was hoping to benefit at all from the situation.

          Can't tell you right now. Haven't ironed out the details, I just know it would be considerably cheaper than the $594 via website. My personal opinion would be ideally closer to 500.

    LiMaaa - what is the story? If they are offering the deal for 400 units and promise shipping in the first week of November - when they clearly don't have the stock in country?

    Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the deep discount, but honesty in the conditions and in communications with customers must come first.

    I would have still jumped on the deal, but having the full picture would not have left this bad taste in my mouth.

      These are mostly manufactured on demand, getting them to au during covid is a struggle and a half but Dell have been prompt and reliable doing so in the specified shipping times on my deals.

      Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the deep discount, but honesty in the conditions and in communications with customers must come first.

      I agree and the way this works is Dell handles orders and product. I handle customer interaction here, providing you guys with accurate information. I think I've done that rather well.

  • I'm in the December delivery date boat as well, do you guys think it's worth cancelling and going for the Xiaomi Mi Curved 34inch ultrawide curved monitor instead?? Practically the same price and provides a curve with more screen real estate, what's your guy's thoughts?

        • xiaomi, I felt IPS still looked better in my eyes and wasnt fan of the curve, either everything looks stretched or messy when dividing the screen into parts.

    Don't stress guys, I know it's confusing when you receive an email from Dell stating shipping has been delayed until Dec. This is an automated response based on many factors. You'll always get the most reliable information from me in the deal threads.

    All the orders from these deals are scheduled to meet the specified delivery in OP. Dell has informed me the shipment is arriving in AU on Monday and will start being dispatched to all of you.

    You may ignore the automated Dec ETA you were emailed as it appears to be inaccurate. Thanks for being patient guys. Happy shopping. :)

      Just want to chime in here, I took advantage of this fantastic deal so thank you for that.

      Also want to apologise on behalf of all the whiny children in this comment section bagging on you especially, terrible to see you and Dell cop so much abuse over nothing. Go out of your way to bring in fantastic deals such as one of, if not the best 1440p 144hz monitor on the market right now for such a reduced price and get complained to and yelled at by absolute children the minute things don't go their way.

      People take advantage of these deals and instead of waiting for clarification, you get bombarded with all sorts of complaints included theories that Dell are exclusively holding back stock for customers paying full price jesus christ some people just didn't grow up mentally.

        Look, it's okay to be frustrated, but how you choose to channel that frustration makes all the difference. Are you coming here seeking clarification and aiding me with good information so I can help? or are you coming here to blow off steam toward me and Dell?

        It's sometimes difficult to digest negative comments not just about my efforts, but Dell's based on an inaccurate email which is out of our control. How many of you are aware that previously Dell has booked your monitors onto flights instead of normal shipping routes just to get them to you on time because they value positive customer feedback, at a substantial financial hit mind you? Probably few, and I don't expect you to know, but appreciation for these deals and trust in me and Dell to do our best is all that's required.

        That's what good old fashioned customer service is about, a company doing its best for the customer, even if sometimes our best isn't always enough, and having the loyalty of you guys to support us and help us do better.

        I truly appreciate the sentiment Draxer, and I appreciate all of you who are thankful and positive. I may not always respond, but I read and upvote every comment of gratitude or just excitement for these deals. You guys rock. <3

          Thanks for the great communication! Alot of people here can be nasty once they don't get their way. Props for sticking around after all those silly comments. As a customer you can either stick with the current ETAs or cancel the order, I didn't see any problem if there was a hiccup in delayed stock, in these uncertain times.hungry cheap nerds are eagerly waiting for this product =p

          Ah, the wonderful world of customer service..

          I missed out on all of your good deals and will now wait for the black friday sales, which I think you estimated as a probable delivery date for January 2021. I'll be fine with that. The savings have been massive and it's not like these monitors aren't worth the wait..

          Anyway, point of my post is that while delays are unfortunate, they aren't unexpected in this environment.
