    I keep missing out on this deal. I was going to buy the LG equivalent LG ultragear 27gl850-b , but this looks like a better buy at this price. How does this Monitor compare to the LG?

    Also, when people mention Black Friday sales, when is that likely to be (the whole weekend, or just for one day?)? Would there be more stock available for Black Friday sale/s? I keep missing out on these deals as I am at work when they happen (don't have internet access there), and then I get home and find the deal was on and it's usually sold out. Is there any way to get notifications on when the next deal for this Monitor is on?

        Alright, thanks. I will buy one if I can get there in time. I've now missed out 2 or 3 times on this deal. Hopefully, I'm not at work when the deal goes live.

        Also, was there a limit on how many you could buy? I was thinking of buying a second one for another PC. Would it have to be two separate orders, or is there only a limit of one per customer even if ordered separately?

        I'm also in no hurry to receive after I place an order (I just want to be able to place an order ;) ). For these prices, I don't mind waiting a little while, so thank you very much for actually getting us these great deals/offers. I, for one, appreciate it.

    Got mine today, big thanks to LiMaaa for the great price.

    It's a great looking screen but unfortunately, none of the buttons on the back to adjust the settings work for me. Have tried holding them down and power cycling the monitor to no avail. Has anyone had similar issues?

    Seems like I might have to try getting a replacement :/

      I had this when I first turned it on. Got kinda worried it was stuck on the language select and the buttons didn't do anything. I played around with the cables, unpluging and re plug them into the graphics card, turned the computer off/on. At some point it worked, can't exactly remember what did it but to make you feel better its not broken. Don't know exactly what the issue was but the buttons worked normally after that (change settings etc) Hope this helps in some way.

        The weird thing is I also had the issue when it first turned on, but I managed to power cycle it to get the buttons to work so I could get past language select. But now, can't seem to do anything that will make the buttons work.

    Mine also came in today, the 7 day turnaround time is great.
    Also looks like I got a top tier unit, no dead pixels or excessive backlight bleed, also calibration out of the box seems great, everything seems perfect so far fingers crossed.

        Besides an invoice email yesterday, the last email I received was the order delay email back on the 23rd. I don't think I received a shipping notification (was shipped to me via Startrack).

    Ordered 2mins after deal was live at 6pm, still in production and got this email today.

    The order is under part shortage and the part will be fulfilled by 11th November .

    I am working with factory to expediate the order .

      Same with me. I spoke with their support yesterday. They said my order was not included in their last batch which they received on the 26th and that a new batch will arrive to AUS on the 13th of November and told me I should expect the order to be delivered on the 18th of November. it would be bad if that was the case.

      But I don't think their information is accurate as @LiMaaa confirmed multiple times that our orders should be delivered on or before the first week of November.

      Looks pretty flash, but at 27" the DPI for 1920x1080 is just below the threshold that the eye can see individual pixels - so everything on the screen will look a little jagged / pixelated. Not a problem for games, but very noticeable if you're looking at fine details (like small fonts or curved lines in office / CAD applications).

      To be honest though, I didn't notice this until I put my 27" 1920x1080 monitor next to a 27" 3840x2160 monitor… but now I can't un-see it (hence why I've ordered the S2721DGF). YMMV

    Just an update for 'Team December'

    I chatted with Dell Support as constantly refreshing the site hoping for an update was giving me anxiety. :'/

    Summary:

    • The order is on hold at the moment due to a stock shortage.
    • There are two incoming shipments:
      • 32 units due on or before 07/11/20.
      • 304 units due on or before 24/11/20.
    • It can take up to three weeks for the stock to be despatched, hence the worst-case ETA of 15/12/20 (in my case).
    • The orders are despatched first-in-first-out. So if you're unlucky and don't get one of the 32 units coming in November, you'll be waiting until mid-Dec.
    • Support can't tell you if you're allocated one of those 32 units. Maybe @LiMaaa knows more regarding this?
    • You can cancel the order and be refunded at any time before despatch.
    • These are all tentative dates, please don't take as gospel.

      That's no good. @LiMaaa would be great if can you confirm with your contact at dell whether our orders will ship this week or not? as you mentioned in post and update. info form their support is all over the place, each user who contacted them got a different date for incoming shipments. if the delays are actually that long I might just cancel my order.

        As I've mentioned before, support doesn't generally have the same information that I get. As far as I'm aware the info I provided in my update is the most accurate information.

        I'll try reach out and double check if I can. I've just been tied down with some other things rn, so I've been a little inactive. I'll try respond to those who have dm me in the coming days.

            This email is to keep you informed that the stock is expected to recover from the shortage only by the 24th November, 2020 onwards.
            The previous allocation could not get completed for this order due to very limited supply coming in.

            Date keeps getting pushed later and later with emails.

        Given that the first week of November has been and gone with no updates, I'm not expecting a miracle… :-/

        For what it's worth, Dell did get back to me as promised.

        They just confirmed that I did not receive one of the 32 units, and that the big batch of 302 units is still scheduled to arrive on the 24/11/20.

        I guess we're in it for the long haul! :'| Fingers crossed for no further delays.

    I said no. Told them all I really wanted was an order confirmation because I'd never received one.

    I just received an email from Dell saying that the order has been assigned to local carrier (Star Track) for delivery on or before the 17th of November!?

    Checking the tracking does indeed suggest that it is already in transit from Sydney.

    A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Will be interesting to see what actually turns up!
