Greetings everyone, Adobe is offering 2 years free of their creative cloud service via their partnership with National Geographic :)

We have partnered with Adobe, a champion for creativity and the power of storytelling. As part of this partnership, Adobe is providing all course participants and their students complimentary access to its Creative Cloud collection of apps and services – the same tools many National Geographic storytellers use to create their work.

To access this opportunity, continue to PRIVO, who will help you create a secure Adobe membership.

Instructions:

  1. Go to the linked page and go down to the "PRIVO" Blue Button and click through.
  2. Go through the prompts and sign up using your details and select the appropriate level of education. For those that have studied before, this can be "Higher Education". There is no verification on the uni/school.
  3. Sign up and verify the email, and it will redirect to Adobe to have access to creative cloud :)

Note, the Adobe access is through a Privo email and not a personal email.

Note, this offer is as part of a professional development training also, they may remove the license at any point so it could be worth doing some courses just in case.

      Glad I kept everything off the cloud. Though Adobe is moving closer to the cloud so switching accounts may be more trouble than it’s worth eventually.

      Just meant as in like, instead of your personal Gmail account, the access to Adobe is [email protected].

      You'll receive another email after signing up through prino to setup your adobe account which should say "Get Started with Adobe Creative Cloud".

    Remember this is free for NSW students via nsw-students.onthehub.com - have to renew yearly, mind you. And of course not just Adobe Creative Cloud, but Windows 10, etc.

      Do primary school kids get access? We never got our edu email working in lockdown.
      Nobody at school knows if we have a det email or not.

        Your edu email should be your username you use to access computer at school with @educantion.nsw.gov.au do it should be [username]@education.nsw.gov.au the password remains the same as the one you use to access devices at school

      This has just changed, no longer need to get through On the Hub as they have implemented federated login.
      NSW Public school students and Staff can just type in their Dept email and choose Company or School account for free access.

        clicked the links on the privo email: Your Adobe Creative Cloud License is Activated!
        both links, one with the token and also https://account.privo.com/oauth/ngs/login then entering my email with @privo domain

        Error msg:
        An error occurred
        NameID element must be present as part of the Subject in the Response message, please enable it in the IDP configuration.

        the https://account.privo.com/#/ page not letting me login either, site hammered or loophole fixed?

          Ahh weird, I think it is probably just overloaded with applications I'd imagine, the access is okay for me but maybe there's some delays in the systems which is annoying.

      If anyone has any issues like this, try log in directly from the Adobe website with the email <username>@ngs.privo.com instead of following the email link — worked for me.

      Yes, got it with a gmail. But part of the process is it signs you up with a privo account and you use that to get your adobe account. Just follow the OP's steps above and it should work.

    Have to login with the alternative email that it allocates to your account (@ngs.privo.com) , not that of the educational institution - in order for it work. Worked for me this way! Cheers OP
