      • Thank you. Good to know. So does it matter who the parcel is sent to?

        • No

  • amazon should do this everyday of the year.

  • -3

Thank you! Any chance you could run this, or at least 5% cashback at some other time as well. I will be working a nightshift just before that, wanted to sleep at that time… :-)

  • +1

Don't forget to add to cart after activating not before

  • -1

6am-8am on the west coast. I'm gunna miss my beauty sleep…

    • Fire at 7,30AM + tks and hopefully all the good stuff gone lol

  • so what are people eyeing / buying tomorrow?

  • Props to CR, but a little pity about the cap for bigger ticket items…. still, I’ll prob part with some dollars regardless!

  • +1

I take it if Amazon has a promotional coupon on the item itself, that's okay to use?

  • My Amazon Prime trial ends tomorrow. Does that mean I can still use it tomorrow?

    • +1

      yes

  • +3

    How bout ebay? please!

    • They'd better come to the party or it's you snooze you lose for their sales.

  • anything worth buying?

    • I figure only if you already had something in mind. The 12% off (and capped) isn't enough for me for random buys.
I was thinking of getting an oasis kindle, but with this discount it still only brings it down to a previous sale level, so I'm not sure.

      • +1

Same thing. Don't want to random buy. My house ain't a storage/ hording facility. XD

  • This 8am Qld time?
I’ve had a few Xmas drinks
A few too many…..nah still going

  • -2

Never used CR before…maybe I misunderstood but what's the big fuss about to if you only get a max of $25 back?

    • +10

Why are you browsing Ozbargain website anyway?

      • It was a legit question, wasn't meant to be smart

        • +4

I was surprised at the number of upvotes too. Many probably like me … have had their eye on one or two items and the discount is enough to trigger impulse buying :)

        • +1

Simple truth is the rebate will be pure as easy enough to buy at the prices without it 😎

    • Because it's 12% cashback (10.9% actual). Better than the 10% Zip Pay.

  • What are you all looking to get tomorrow?

    • Bargains!

    • Video games, because the category is normally 0% cashback

  • Is there anything good to get on amazon to make this worthwhile

  • In case anyone hasn't calculated it. $208.33 is the max value of the item before you cap your discount and there are no greater discounts.

  • -2

I want to buy s20+..price is 997$. Want to know that can i get 12% cashback on that..if 12% than i will get in 887$.. is this cashback applicable on Mobile & and can i get 12% cb?

    • nope read title max is $25
so 997-25 and that's if you get the $25 back as some people seem to have issues getting it back

  • +1

I got some rejections from Amazon from previous CR deals. Anyone had the same issue?

    • depends on the timing of when you did it and what category… a lot of gaming categories do not apply

  • Looking forward to this… thanks!

  • -1

I assume Jabra earbuds are ruled out of this deal being audible .

    • +1

I think 'audible' means their audiobook stuff. Not all the audio gear

  • Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback (not Amazon credit).

What's the difference of amazon gift cards and amazon credit? I thought if you redeem gift cards, it will turn into amazon credit?

    • +1

Amazon credits are usually refunds of purchases made.

  • Great, I grabbed 10% off gift cards last week. It will be like 21% off, held off hoping wireless gaming headset stayed on sale and it has!!! Woot Woot!

    • Which one are you getting mate? Looking for a headset as well.

      • +1

Most are sold out I've noticed, probably the HyperX Cloud Flight

    • wow where did you get 10% off? was it some zippay thing again? I'm only getting 3% through Suncorp

      • Zip Saturday's, yes.

  • PlayStation plus 12 month subscription qualify for cash back ? Or it's consider a gift card?

  • Wow now I got to try to wake up in 5 hours or so why I like my afternoon shift job, hate getting up early

  • Anyone know if you can use the $10 voucher on the Amazon app with the cashrewards cashback?

  • +1

Need some baby stuff which is generally 0%. Cheers TA.

  • Partial payments allowed?

    Gift card + Credit card?

    • +1

      Why wouldn’t they be?

  • Doesn't look like it's active yet… Still shows 10% on Cashback rates.

    • It's come through now :)

  • +1

Thanks TA. Screenshot every step just in case.

Was hard to track down Amazon GC this morning in my neighbourhood to use with zip 10% off rewars. None of the BP stocked them! Good there was a 7-11 around the corner.

  • Can purchase 1 Amazon $50 GC now with this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/593727?page=1#comment to use on this one.

    • Yes. But don't use promo credit (which you will receive in a few days)

    • Haha, I got up early to go to 7/11 to buy Amazon gift card. Came home and saw this. But I have never bought any Amazon giftcard online and not even sure if they are instant delivery. Anyway, bought a kettle which I don't really like. But it boils water and we need a new one. New Amazon customer too.

  • Do you need Amazon Prime for this?

    • No but purchase $39 plus for free delivery.

  • Can someone clarify how this is calculated? Say my order total (incl. GST) is $180 and I use a $50 gift card to only pay $130.

    • +1

      gift card

Gift card is OK with cashrewards, credit won't will deduct from the cashrewards calculation.

      • Meaning cashback will be 12% of $130 and not $180?

        • +1

Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback (not Amazon credit).

This is what on the T&C, so will calculate on $180, may deduct GST.

    • CR will credit you 20% of the ex GST amount so $163.64 x 12% = $19.64 back.

If the $163.64 ex GST also includes delivery charges you paid, then you deduct those and the new amount will then be used to work out the 12% back.

      • My bad…it should say 12% of the ex-GST amount.

  • How long does it take to get confirmation of tracking after purchase via cash rewards? I can't remember…

  • what about the coupon (tick) from seller?
if you tick the coupon, it apply discount from the seller
    example: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08DRB96WJ/

  • Anyone know if the item needs to be shipped from and sold by Amazon AU? Will an item that's only fulfilled by Amazon AU still qualify?

    • +1

As long as you order from Amazon.com.au

  • Thanks TA

  • Does anyone know how long it take for purchase at Amazon to track? Thanks. First time using Amazon and kept on logging me out. Now I am worried if purchase will track. But I did place order successfully and CR click history shows I clicked through twice.

    • I asked above.. reply was 4 days

      • +1

4 days? Quite long. By then I would have received the kettle. Amazon's delivery is faster than tracking of the purchase.

        • Indeed, shopback seems to be faster.. but no amazon PROMO with them today

  • +1

    Bought this coffee machine: https://www.amazon.com.au/Sunbeam-Cafe-Espresso-Machine-Silv…

Effectively costs $98 after 12% cashback

  • Used Amazon gift cards from Prezzee, hopefully this worked.

  • Grabbed a 2TB nvme drive for $331-$25 = $306 Excellent!!

  • Thanks, bought this case https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07CJTHWTK/ref=ppx_yo_d…
Probably cheapest ever with cashback at $141.
Also bought a bunch of essentials
First time using this stuff so hopefully it works.

    • Not bad!
I actually bought the NZXT H210i during cashback.
Same price as everywhere $199 but free shipping and 12% cashback makes it a deal.

  • grabbed a cheap samsung LS24R350FHEXXY monitor $145

  • Was faffing around browsing and watching the cricket - and missed the 11am deadline. Spewin'! Although it probably stopped me buying more crap I don't need….

    • for some reason I thought this was all day. oh well saved myself from buying more stuff.

  • For future reference, when you go for cashback it opens up the Amazon app on your phone voiding cashback
How do you get it, not to open the app and just go via browser?

    • +2

      Uninstall the app

    • +1

If you are on Android follow the instructions under Method 2 (link should take you directly there), the example they use is YouTube, it's the same process for Amazon.

If you are on iOS, google it

    • Darn it, that is what happened to me

    • Does it void the cashback? I’ve done it this way numerous times and it tracks

  • +2

    Missed it :(

  • +1

oh man how thought this was in the afternoon not morning. damn beer goggles.

  • +1

Please do an evening surprise repeat bonus offer. Thankyou in advance.

  • +1

Does cashback usually track sequentially? I’ve had my second order track but not my (more expensive) first.

Edit: apparently not. First order just tracked :)

  • Only 1 of the 3 orders I did this morning at just after 6am (WA time) tracked so far…

Ex GST means not the full 12%😏

    • Ex GST means not the full 12%

In one of my transactions, I was surprised to see it tracked against the full amount.
Otherwise, the effective cashback rate would be 10.9%.
