        I'd prefer Shopback's gift cards, bit harder to enter in the code and pin but much more confirmation. Also easier to pay for with no need to dig in bank statement for $1 charge. I accidentally swapped a cashrewards choice gift card for the wrong one with cashrewards because there was no confirmation page. This would not have happened with shopback's gift cards.

        By the way if anyone knows how to reverse the swapped gift card it would be really helpful. No luck contacting support.

      Yeah, I'm certain that I'd be able to use a gift card from Amazon / Aldi / Coles / Woolies eGift / Kmart / probably Target. But the stores included are a stretch, and I'd much rather have $50 cash rather than $50 of expirable credit at these stores for ~$44 . E.g. for DoorDash / Uber Eats, using for pickups from local restaurants, they have started jacking up their item prices through those apps, but if you phone them directly or walk in the prices are the same as ever, so it's effectively a ~20% fee for using those apps, even for pickup.

    I just purchased a $50 gift card through the Cashrewards.com.au website and I needed to link my CC to do it. All good - the $5 cash back is already showing on my cashrewards. I would now like to unlink my credit card from truerewards/cashrewards and I can’t work how to do it. Can anyone help please? many thanks

      Turns out unlinking my card through settings is only unlinking it from Cashrewards instore purchases.

      How do I unlink my card through True Rewards when it's waiting for verification? The prepaid CC doesn't show the 4 digit confirmation code in its transactions so I can't verify, and it's not giving me the option to add another card either.

            @Junk Sifter: By the time I get there I see my linked card and the option to delete/remove it, it looks like the option isn't there because you haven't confirmed the card? I had an unconfirmed card before, it was removed but I don't remember how I did it or if it just timed out.

    So the best option/max discount in regards to eBay gift cards ($50) is on SB app is to get the Swap (5% discount) card then change it to eBay on SB site?, I've never used swap cards before. Vs CR 1.5% discount choice card?

    How long does the process take to swap on SB?

    Then use it on eBay via SB to get a further discount today (before 10pm)?

      I find swapping the swap card from SB quite problematic, whereas I've had less trouble with the choice card from CR.

          I think with SB SWAP, you can do online. My problem with it was that it doesn't recognize the PIN to swap the card very well. So if I buy any giftcards from SB, I tend to buy the actual merchant card rather than go through SWAP.

          With CR choice, I've clicked on the link on the email and swap the card there and then, usually for eBay. I only do it when I want to use the card. They're supposed to send you an email confirming the swap, but I've never received it. So when I "lost" my giftcard, ie could not find the details for it, I had to call true rewards. They were able to send me the confirmation email for the swap / redemption, so it was fine that way too. Otherwise, I suggest copying the details of the card straightaway.
