@belongsinforums: Thanks for explaining something so basic. I'm surprised there are still people who think anecdotes, mythical fantasies and their personal opinion somehow trump science and logical thinking

                        • @Lolmania: What exactly has been explained? Has an objective, foundational and logical answer been put forth explaining the uniformity of nature, universal laws of logic or a standard for absolute morality?

It surprises me that atheists don't realise that they are themselves engaged in a religious faith, one of no foundation whatsoever, that proposes we all evolved from a primordial soup. What then? We are all just animals and bags of biomass, with no intrinsic value. How does a naturalist/materialist provide any foundation for the uniformity of nature, universal laws of logic or a standard for absolute morality?

                      • @belongsinforums: You are begging the question, I can prove to you that people are inherently sinful/evil, purely by looking back at history as documented. From when the printing press was invented to modern times, very easy to prove this also. Crimes, wars, domestic violence etc. If people were inherently good, then there should never have been a war, murder let alone single crime, ever.

Political advertising has no place on this website.

  • +9

False advertising - it actually asks for donations of minimum $5
You really want a sticker for $5?
    Besides, it's blatant political advertising

  • +4

Why dont we start a vote. should stickers like these be allow on ozbargain…..
    I say no…..

    • +4

      Stickermule deals do quite well

    • +1

There's a vote at the top of this deal.

  • +4

where's the deal? where elsewhere can I purchase this that makes this a deal?

  • You can get them for free, even at $0.70 that's a small price to pay. That's a deal.

  • +8

Logged in just to neg, no fan of his but this shit should stay off Ozbargain.

    • -1

Thank you for your service sir.

  • +4

This is not appropriate for OzBargain.

    • -1

      Cancel culture in a nutshell

  • +4

Sticking this d***head picture in my bin seriously undermine the value of my rubbish bin…
Better not to see his ugly face everyday.

  • +1

    Viva revolution!!!

  • +4

Should say "I'm not Coalified to be Prime Minister"

  • +1

    good luck today Mods :)

    • +6

Yep. Delete all the invalid neg votes 💩

      • +1

How about you change your post to state that they are not actually free… unless you want to privately contact the organiser.

        • +5

It has said that from the beginning.

From the Council. If you want them free Contact Lindsay

      • -5

As long as they delete all invalid deals as well

      • Awwww you upset someone negged your deal 🥲

  • -4

    98 liberal supporters. Sad.

    • +1

Nope, just another poster who fails to put critical thought to the numbers. Bit like all of the polling companies at the last election.

  • So which one is the good side and which is the dark side?

  • -1

elections do nothing. only way is war. and people revolution is the only way koo. problem is socieity has been conditioned in a way so they don't fight so they are weak minded making Australian's easy to manipulate by the govenment.

Your all being played by the Australia government only way to get rid of them is to take them down. But since this is dangerous words apparently I will end with saying.. "I am joking". wink wink.

    • +4

      What is a koo?

      • sorry I mean to say Coup = The sudden overthrow of a government by a usually small group of persons in or previously in positions of authority.

        • +3

Good luck with your coup kungfuman, hopefully you have some strong kungfu.

          • @Gehirn: yeah its never going to happen its Australia. people couldn't be stuffed.

    • +2

People will realise this too late, as with the rest of the world. We’ve been gaslighted so hard by capitalism, when the curtains eventually get pulled I hope that my fellow aussies have it in them to revolt… in minecraft of course

  • +3

This thread should go the same way binned

  • +2

    Really?

  • +2

this thread is a shitshow. I wish I could sort by controversial

  • +10

OzBargain should remain professional by striving to be apolitical. This is another misstep and only serves to divide the community.

    • +7

That's ok, we've got 7/11 fuel bargain to unite us again

    • -2

maybe you're a liberal trying to suppress public opinion of this book

      • Or maybe we could have an intelligent conversation about what really is 'smart' energy transition.

  • -1

What a joke OzBargain has become. I can't wait until the anti-vaxxers start their spamming.

    • +4

They are already doing it every weekend

      • +1

This. We even have seppos coming over to comment here, OzBargain must be the place to discuss covid conspiracies.

  • +6

    Nuclear is the answer.

    • Tru

  • +2

Bargain, I'm ordering them and then throwing them in the bin.

    • +3

Doesn't that mean you support binning Morrison?

      • +1

Yes— Both major parties are terrible.

        I don't mind coal.

  • +7

    No politics at ozbargain please.

Not sure how this propaganda is a bargain
It's not worth wiping your *** with, in my opinion, but that's irrelevant, there shouldn't be any politics on ozbargain.

  • Monthly stats will have a new item;

Most positive and negative votes in same deal

  • +12

I really wish we'd keep Ozbargain politics free regardless of what the political agenda is or intentions. Even from an environmental perspective im negging this. We dont need more waste.

    • +1

Unless they bin the bins, they are not going to end up in landfill… Well except for the liberals who are going to buy them to incur costs and dispose them (as if they are going to bankrupt them)

      • +8

Typically a sticker has a backing side which can be waste, they exert a significant environmental cost to produce, many involving toxic chemicals, and many will leech micro-plastics and such into the environment and waterways over time. There are eco friendly, to varying degrees, stickers out there but no mention what these are. Probably cheap toxic trash to go along with the state of modern day trashy negative politics.

        • +2

You must be fun at parties

        • +1

You put into words (with more specific knowledge than i had), all the reasons why it's still wastage. I think you'd be rather interesting at parties actually, something worthwhile to talk about, unlike some others.

  • +1

    Libs don't exist in WA.

But based on the 5:1 vote, it doesn't look so good for the libs.

  • +4

Ozbargain has fallen off the rails in the last 2 years, between posting Disney+, Gamepass, PSN+ stuff as 'deals' and the political garbage and the front this site is for lining peoples pockets with Cashrewards something has got to give.

    • +3

You do realize that you can block those posts from showing up right? Not worth sooking about

  • +6

Showing support for your ideals/party is not the same as bashing the opposition… this is a waste and not necessary here

  • +5

Free stickers are free. Not a deal.
This would be better as a freebie or even better in forums.

    • +4

It's actually not even "free" - it's asking for donations, minimum $5

      • +1

From the Council. If you want them free Contact Lindsay

      • +2

You can get them free and in a bigger quantity by sending through an email thats listed on the linked site. Get some for your family and friends ;)

    • Description edited. Donation minimum is now $10 instead of $1.NOT FREE

  • Political propaganda does not belong on OzBargain

    • +12

Your username is literally "Lets go Brandon"….

  • +5

Another addition to the landfill. Don't get it unless u have any use for it.

    • Cover the rust holes in Queensland cars

  • +11

If Harvey Norman decided to make a website stating "Donate $5-20 and get a sticker with our advertising on it… or if you email us we just might give you a sticker for free if you meet all of our criteria" would you call this a bargain?

This is EXACTLY what this "bargain" is

  • +7

What was the original price? Negging because of a lack of savings with “new” price.

    • Was 0.70c but it is still free if you send them an email that's found closer to the bottom of the page

  • Everyone who is complaining about energy transition should look at AEMO information to see how many solar farms and wind farms are popping up every year. Obviously this is done by Govt with all the credits, tax payer money, paying for it

    • So many in fact the Infrastructure to connect them to the grid is lacking

      • +2

Yes, and payments for existing solar customers are going to the toilet… no longer getting the 20c per KW as I did last year so ROI is stretching out further and further now…

      • +2

        Who manages the infrastructure planning?

      • +2

SCAM ALERT Donation minimum is now $10 instead of $1.The real motive $$$$$$

        • Deals expire all the time. Calm down.

  • -6
  • +3

More left wing nonsense pretending to be a bargain, the price of these stickers is not a bargain as we have seen much better deals and without the political nonsense

  • +5

    Great bargain. Bought 100

  • +7

Even if it matches the rules, it still feels like spit in the face of the true deal-hunters… working the system, abusing the rules… it’s very much polarising and I regret even seeing this on the main page

    • +4

Have you considered not clicking on the "deal" that you have no interest in?

      • +9

I would have done so if I haven’t seen a picture that is literally designed to polarise and divide people even further. It shuts discussion. It’s not constructive. It doesn’t do any good to the society (nor to the planet).

I feel like calling out such problems is a must.

        • +5

          I'm seeing plenty of discussions….

    • Truly a sigma ozbargain user

      • +2

thanks for bringing so much to the discussion with such alpha comment

        • +1

yes lets have a good faith argument in a thread full of idiotic comments…

  • +9

I don't want to see political fighting on Ozbargain - I want to see bargains

  • +5

    Fake news propaganda material

  • +9

Can I get a sticker with Scomo and Albo both going in the bin?

I mean every time Albo is asked what you would do better, he goes straight to listing all the shit stuff Scomo is doing. So over it …

Perhaps "Society" should be going in the bin.

    • Last time I checked, scomo isn't doing anything
