Commenting on items you have no interest in….. Eew…

I mean they had some interest but no optical drive was a real dealbreaker to them. It be good if MS gave the option of an external disc drive addon

        • -1

          No they didn't.

They would always buy the X and are just trolling like so many anytime anything digital is posted.

      500gb ewww

      • Right? I'd be much happier with 364, 500 is too much for one man to handle.

Nintendo Switch $399 now with eBay plus

    • Yeah, not sure why you would wait for the higher price!!

      • It could be cheaper with coupons if BIG W decides to set the same price of $449 on their eBay store

        • True

        • +1

          13 days should already ended.

The coupon for that deal has an expiry of 30 June. So presumably OP is saying DO NOT buy now if you can, but to wait for the price to update to $449 (currently $499 list price) on Ebay?
      Possible future price: 20% off $449 = $359.20 < $399 currently.

      • Currently BIG W is selling it at $499 on their website and in stores. They may update their price to $449 when the catalogue goes live and stack with any available eBay coupons

        • +1

          Understood. :)

          • @assailantsky: It’s an assumption that could go wrong :)

            • +2

@BargainsGrabber: Yes, but the potential saving could be worth it for me. I'm in a no hurry to update my current switch to OLED, so it's a wait and see for me.

              Thanks for the heads up!

              • @assailantsky: BIG W has dropped their prices for the OLED on their eBay store for $449. Currently only 5% off eBay coupons are available

The Gamesmen eBay are cheaper atm

                • @BargainsGrabber: Cheers. the wait continues… :)

                  • @assailantsky: Here’s your chance to get it below $400 after cashback and bonus store credit ($449/1.1 (GST component) - 12% cashback) = $400.01 + bonus $40/ or $60 if using PayPal Pay in 4 :)

                    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/707142

Cashrewards having 12% cashback on TGG. Doesn’t say anywhere it excludes Nintendo Switch consoles
TGG is advertising the OLED for $449. Use Cashrewards to track for 12% cashback and you also get the bonus $80/ $120 store credit too

      • The coupon for that deal has an expiry of 30 June

        Where you saw that?

        • when you click "show me how", but this is not stated on the T&C.

        • One of the mods, @hamza23, did a revision on my deal post a while back with an expiry of 30 June

7000 points is about $35 yes?
As a happy series S owner, I'd be buying a second hand one off marketplace for around $350-370 personally

  • Anyone thinking about buying the Series S just for its controller haha….already have a Series X just need an extra controller.

    • Or you could just buy another controller for a fraction of the cost

      • +1

The official wireless controllers are sold out everywhere.

        • +2

Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller + USB-C Cable Black says 20 of them left.

If you don't mind Red: Xbox Wireless Controller - Pulse Red

But it's okay, it is close to out of stock everywhere so buy Series S for the white controller and sell the console without the controller.

          • +1

@netsurfer: Marketplace oversees seller. Probably wouldn’t risk it.
Don’t know who’s buy a console without a controller. Probably would need to discount significantly to sell

Edit: Big W one probably ok

            • @FireRunner: I’d buy a second console without controller for the spare room as I already have six controllers.

            • @FireRunner: Well, I have a couple of spare controllers, one from an OZB deal years ago (it's more an XBox One S|X controller) and another I bought in order to use the $20 EB world birthday voucher.

Not that interested in Series S (coz. I have Series X already), but if the price is low enough, the fomo factor could trick me into buying one.

    Series s is the best

  • People selling Series S on marketplace for $350-$600. With sub $400 on eBay, wonder if that will impact the second hand marked 🤞

    • Matching HN?

      • Yup Amazon is matching HN, they will follow BIG W price next week too

  • Can't find the switch on Big W's eBay unfortunately, was hoping to pick up and OLED at that sub 400 price
