I’ve tried. I’ve clicked the button that shows up from time to time to create an alert.
I’ve enabled notifications, added to lists, set priority to highest, and not once have I ever actually received an alert from Amazon.
3xcamel on the other hand has never let me down

This “deal” will end in those who ordered getting a pair of 1st gen pros/posting here in a week saying they’re boycotting Amazon OR mass refund/time waste.
Not with Amazon no. I wouldn’t have ordered it if it is another seller but with Amazon direct worst scenario I will have a cancelled order with my money back and normally pretty quickly.
Sending out Gen 1 means honouring the orders but mis-advertising on the product. Amazon won’t be that stupid as they will end up paying more to settle it.
Not even money back, Amazon won't charge you until it ships. If they cancel the order then they will have never charged you.

Yeah, you loose some of the airpods convenience features with android. I'd also suggest looking into sennheiser if audio quality is a priority.
@zjz93: What exactly did you find trash? I had the Sennheiser Momentum true wireless 2nd generation and the sound quality was noticeably better than AirPods Pro to my ear.
@Stingy Student: All of the Senn tws sets had a crater in the mid-treble regions that didn't sound too great for vocals up until the current generation
FWIW, I have been very happy with my Sony wf-1000xm4 - both audio wise and call quality. I replaced the stock ear tips with the spinfit ear tips and that helped a lot with comfort.

I'm an Android guy but the earbuds are amazing.
Don't wanna pay $150 for a "New! USB-C charging case for AirPod Pro 2! to match your iPhone 15" in a years time.
They won't be releasing a charging case on its own without the earbuds, it's most likely the next AirPods Pro 3 will feature USB-C.
I, too, was also hoping they have made it USB-C on both the iPhone and AirPods Pro but it won't happen concurrently by the looks of it.

They did exactly this for the AirPod Pro 1.0 - shipped with regular case, later on could buy a wireless charge capable case.
That's why people are speculating there's a tiny chance they might do that for USB-C on the Pro 2.0s

Looks unlikely. Last time I ordered a watch on price error and they cancelled the order several days later and provided $10 credit.
Still content with my 199 airpod pros from ebay plus deal back in 2020.
I personally am a samsung user but the pods are honestly one of my best products. The amount of broken headphones id go through gymming etc etc.
I use them hours per day and they still going strong.

I got mine from Officeworks. An android user since the original galaxy and the htc desire. I've found AirPods pro very comfortable and a good fit. The sound quality is very flat for those who love bass.
I am going to buy new ones. I hope the sound quality is improved.
