To confirm, first order via desktop. After entering CC detail it processed CC payment but just stayed on the processing screen..

Started online chat and also started processing second order via mobile.
The chat representative confirmed no order on their side and confirmed to process second order.
Second order went though fine - email received etc
I have sent screen shots of CC statement showing charged. They are looking into it.
Still waiting on live chat
I assume one will just disappear over the next day or so, otherwise raise a dispute with the CC

maybe you're right with the grey import. Few years ago when they sold Samsung Galaxy S8, it was overseas model (UAE iirc).
It is overseas I spoke to 2 Different ppl. They said when phone arrived please check on apple store with model no. They are funny. They should mention on there website.

Got one aswell the website kept freezing on wifi so had to use mobile data and was smooth sailing. Some colours already out stock. I'd say these will be gone soon. Feel sorry for the people going through all the cancel requests for the 90 day Sim plan auto renewal on there cancel mailbox.

You can put a physical SIM in anytime as it is an outright unlocked phone. Once it's activated you can just turn off the autorenewal and/or port the number out to a $5 Aldi [ to keep it for a year] or $2 Kogan SIM to let it expire in a month (?).
It's often good to have a spare number floating for the ' New customer' special deals that pop up here from time to time.
