I received my replacement, not like you, they sent me new third party keyboard (Bluetooth) and 12v power supply. Guess they don't want to keep at least a few customer happy.

      • 3rd party one ok? Backlit?

        • Its thick and heavy, its bluetooth only you have to wait windows to boot and turn on. Def prefer the microsoft one.

      • damm, i asked for another replacement or swap it with similar priced model but they only offered refund. ended uo leaving neg feedback

        • Should have gone for a $40 refund. I am happy with mine for $151.

Used it to take notes in a meeting today….for that use case would have gotten about 4 hours of battery life.

I asked for a replacement, they asked me to send it back, I sent it back and they gave me a refund. It's been pretty difficult dealing with this mob.

Used https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/batteryinfoview.zip as other and battery health is showing 50%. I am not sure if its good or bad. done the manual test full 100% charge lasts abt 3.5 hrs…..

Heh? All you need is to run "powercfg /batteryreport" . Don't risk downloading programs from unknown websites.

      • Same results. Just a bit easier to use.

      • +2

Hardly an unknown site, nirsoft have been around for decades.

        • I guess you could research that, and decide you trust them. (Careful, many apps get sold for a generous offer, and the new owners load malware.)
But isn't it a whole lot easier to use the simple utility that comes built in to Windows? It is two words FFS.

      • Hi, I ran that command too…but not sure which info to look at to assess if battery is in good shape or not…..also i notice depending on how charge the unit is the results is different. What info i should look for?

  • My battery drop to 65% after a few charge. It was 77 percents when I received it

  • My battery is showing as 65% now (was previously 69, then 55%)
I messaged the eBay account and they were willing to provide me a $40 partial refund to keep the device, or return for full refund with no replacement

Brings total to $146~ which I'm more than happy about to keep the device :)

    YMMV but good luck!

    • What did you say to get the offer? Just mentioned the battery %?

    • Same. Worth it I reckon.

    • +1

I mentioned you advertised greater than 70%
      I received 69%
On first charge went down to 55% and now it's 65%
They asked for a screenshot so I sent a screenshot with the nirsoft battery software + the battery report from powercfg command + my system info window

      • +1

Yep mine is all over the place. I just stop looking.

        • Haha yeah I can't complain at all, cheap as for a solid little portable laptop and a bit of an upgrade from my old 2013 laptop
Taking this one as a win

@Surtr: Agreed. Great retro machine as well due to the lovely screen.

Seller shipped out replacements, better batteries on these and surprisingly lte models also. Keyboards still a bit meh but I reckon not worth the hassle to swap them.

My battery has settled around 64%. Not great but useable.
