I ordered last night but 13 hours later the item is till not delivered.

      • +4

TGG is waiting for you to + the deal.

      • I know why because I am located in Perth…sure a lot slower than other states.

    • Ah serious? Hope my Courier comes soon then! :-)

      • Came by the yellow DHL courier van around lunch time

  • Got a canon mx926 for $130 incl shipping. Not quite the $90 it was before christmas, but I could use the duplex scanning feature now.

Uniden 3 phone with blackout protection and phone charger for $100 is quite alright

This offer is quickly approaching the redemption limit and will end soon.

  • still haven't received my email from good guys, only ebay & paypal.
Should it be taking this long? I ordered at about 9am

    • +2

me too, I imagine they did the late-nighters this morning and are swamped from today

  • Code still works, just got WD My Cloud 3TB for $182.60 incl shipping

  • I ordered the Dyson DC34 for $180.50.

I received an email about an hour ago that the order was being processed by my local store. So I called them and asked if I could pick it up instead of waiting on delivery. Nice lady said no worries, and we'll refund you the $9.00 delivery fee when you get here. Happy days!

    Cheers OP!

    • Which local store?

  • +6

    offer now ended!

    • Yep :) looks like it :)

    • Yep, all done and dusted.

  • +4

well that was a bit of excitement :P

  • NOOOOO… anyone else get a call saying they don't have stock of the red UE speakers? I've been given the option of waiting til april, choosing a different colour or refund…. the store I got a call from was lutwyche..
    I chose to wait.

    • call their web store and request the order to be re-assign to other store.

    • +1

I chose to wait too, from the same store. They could reassign it to Mt Gravatt but it would be a different color. I'm not in a hurry so I decided to wait.

Oh they just rang, I can't pickup to save $9 - it has to be delivered.

      • yeha and IF it somehows get cheaper we are allowed to get a refund

  • Offer has dissapeared from the ebay.com.au homepage and thats all she wrote.

  • Received from an eBay Australia Rep:

Just wanted to let you know that 2,500 redemption have been reached and that the offer is no longer available. Would be great if you could flag the offer as expired on the Ozbargain forum.

    • Oh wow. :(

I was planning to use the afternoon to buy a 3DS XL and the Dyson vacuum as gifts.

      • +17

Already 17.5k click throughs here on OzBargain. With only 2.5k redemption for that coupon code (and a few people here using it multiple times), I am actually quite surprised that it has lasted that long.

        • Don't be too surprised. With their last $10 game sale, TGG kept selling games even though many of their stores ran out of stock. They had to find ways to buy new stock.

        • Keep in mind that the URL for this deal was originally set to The Good Guys website, not their eBay store. So the first hour of clicks may not have been counted, as people followed the URL in the description.

  • +1

Good job, drbuckyballs. Looking at the +ves from your previous deals, this one blows them all out of the water!

    • +2

The GOAT will always be the $1.40 McFlurry deal.

  • Managed to grab Garmin Nuvi 2597LMT 5" GPS :)

    • Can I ask why you bought it? Just curious - thought phones had pretty much made these redundant? Do you have a smartphone?

      • +2

i think there is still a market for them, a bit like kindles.

the reason why i bought my gps is i was sick of setting up my phone in the car everytime i got in, now i just get in, its always there and on. more of a convenience than a necessity

  • +1

I went to watch reviews of some of the products on Youtube and when I try to put the code up, the offer ended. Poor me

    • +11

You saved some money there. So .. rich you.

  • +2

    Missed out ;(

Oh well … always next time.

    Some really good deals

  • +1

    17599 clicks
I think they have made lot more than 2500 redemptions befror deal ends.

  • +6

I'm suprised it took so long for them to hit 2500.
I don't think they set a limit on it…. until they discovered that it has been ozbargained.

  • I wonder if this was an joint ebay-good guys promotion or just good guys.
    A ~175k X~$50-100 discount will be very dear…

    • this should be ebay/paypal promotion.
you'll get a full price invoice from tgg.

  • I got in and grabbed an ASUS Transformer Book T100 for $488 + $9 for delivery (and will also be getting 1,952 Velocity points) about 2 hours ago. Still waiting for the Good Guys to email me, would be happy to go in and pick it up. Many thanks OP.

  • +13

This is one of the best deal so far in OZB

Can't believe that I resisted myself not buying anything from this deal (successfully tested myself for 10+ hours)

    • +1

What was the price shown by Paypal before you hit "Pay Now"? Surely it wasn't the discounted price?
Try to contact The Good Guys customer service. I have always found them very helpful. If you explain it, they may just refund it to you in-store.
Also, keep in mind that the email from eBay does not show the discount, only the Paypal email does.

    • Not happy Jan.

    • +10

I want my 30% discounts (ie, the values of the 2 overcharges) refunded immediately, but still want my ordered products sent.

Who do you think you are? lol

    • +2

IVI, have you checked the paypal statement. the final price, is the DISCOUNTED price, and then TGG add a voucher for the remainder. you should see the correct amount deducted form your account/cc. I initially thought the same thing, but when i looked closely it made sense. hope that helps

    • +3

IVI, Good to see you adhered to the T&Cs of max $100 discount, One per customer.

      As Liam Neeson says….Good Luck!

  • I've just made the 605th + :)

  • hey guys, where am I supposed to collect the $71.40? Nothing has changed in netbank regarding this purchase?

    printscreen of paypal
    http://imgur.com/aMc0x8S

    • +1

      You don't collect it.
Full price was paid to tgg, the amount it charged you was the discounted amount.

The voucher acted as if it was cash.

      • oh, so I should be expecting like a $170 spent in my bank statement?

        • nope. the paypal invoice will have the full amount, the discounted amount comes out of your account and TGG add a voucher for the rest.

        • "TGG add a voucher for the rest" what?

        • +5

oh, so I should be expecting like a $170 spent in my bank statement?

how are you not understanding this incredibly simple concept..

          You bought something for $247

That $247 will be made up of
          - $174.60 (the line that says 'Add funds from bank account' - e.g. YOU ARE PAYING THIS)
          - $71.40 (the line that says 'Voucher'' - e.g, Paypal/ebay/good guys/someone else that you dont care about is paying this portion)

          $174.60+$71.40 => $247… magic

        • no, I understand, but when I look at my bank statement, I don't anything being processed on the 25th.

        • It will take a day or three.

  • +2

Got the call from TGG (ordered at 1am 25/03 WST). Asked if I could pick it up and they agreed to refund delivery. Osborne Park store, WA.

  • +1

So I purchased the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition earlier today and still haven't gotten an email from TGG, should i be concerned?

    • I'm still waiting for one confirmation too, I'm not concerned, yet.

    • I'm in the same boat. :(

OT: Did you guys see the price of Samsung's official cover????

      • Mine has been shipped. I ordered around 12am last night though. I expect to get my new toy tommorow :P

^i bought a cheap $11 cover off ebay.

      • Official cover retails for $70. Its crazy. CPL has it for $50 I believe.

Oh apparently the Poetic Cases are really good too and cost about $30 including shipping from US.

    • If you use gmail or Google Apps, check your "promotions" folder/tag. That's where it went for me.
Sorry if that's a simplistic suggestion, but I have fallen for it before.

  • +4

+'d after this deal expired, since I really needed something to stop me spending money!

Was very close to buying about 5 things (that I don't really need)

    • Same here almost impulse bought a few things..

  • On which phone number do they contact you on? I can only presume Paypal as I don't recall ebay having one against your account.

  • Thanks OP - new vac!

  • +1

Ordered DC58 last night. Got a call today saying it's ready for pickup. Went to pick it up and they refunded me $9 for the delivery cost. Paid $89 for extended warranty at the store and now I have my DC58 for $337 all up with 5 years warranty. Thanks OP and GG!

  • Hmmmm………..Thank you for your enquiry and I hope you are well.

Unfortunately orders placed on our eBay store are not available for in store pick up.

Kind Regards and I hope you have a lovely day,

  • Faith in humanity slipping, a lot of tanties above.

  • Missed the deal but gotta say it was HUGE and give it another +. Bought a Garmin GPS in store on special last week and could have saved $40 with this deal.

  • Wow that was quick, order is due AM tommorow from our 2nd closest local store, even though it said it was coming from over east (eg changed courier pick up location twice) now to WA.

  • picked up UE boom and delonghi kettle from the store, got $18 refund from store

  • +2

Picked up the Moto G and got $9 in cold cash

    • Damnit, why won't my GG do that?
The lady who called me said she had to check with the web team, who said ebay orders can't be picked up.
      That's $18 "wasted".

    • Me too. Picked up a coffee machine from Chatswood store this morning, Received the $9 back in cash. Thank you The Good Guys!

  • +1

Bought a food processor, oven, sandwich press/grill, 4-slice toaster and a slow cooker.

Had no intentions of purchasing these things. What have you done to me OZB??????

    • +4

Wow.. you claimed the voucher five times. Serves you right I guess.

  • Finally remembered something I want, but too late.
    Oh well..

  • Spoke to some guy over the phone to have it picked up. He said cause it's from eBay, picking up is not available. I told him that a lot of other customers were able to have their's picked up. He had a chat with the designated store and it was all good! :)

  • I got a dispatched email, so should have my DC44 soon! wooo

  • Yep, told my local store that I'll be picking it up and they said it's all good and they'll refund the shipping.

  • +5

These guys got a huge amount of orders. I'm really surprised at how quick they are processing all the orders. Very impressed with The Good Guys right now.

  • I got the email and its going to the bankstown store, any idea if they cater for pickups?

    • Call them and ask. Their phone number will be on your email order confirmation.

  • just got my confirmation of processing. thx Good guys and OP once again.

  • Still waiting on confirmation email, ordered 9:30am yesterday. :(

  • -3

What happens when you try to refund the item? The item has full price on receipt?

    • you get it back in full. However The Good Guys don't accept refunds for change of mind.
They only accept refunds for other stuff like product died.

      • that's not true. I cancelled one of my orders

  • I've been tracking mine which states it was going to be delivered today. I've checked again and it says it was delivered at 10am. Something's not right here. I don't think I have the right number.

Turns out that the wrong address has been written on the consignment note, so I have to chase it up with the Good Guys.

    • +1

where did you go to track it? Mine only says dispatched.. no tracking numbers or tracking link (unless it's the order number?)

      • +1 yeah I have an order number too but don't know how to track?

      • I received a PDF of my docket invoice, and it's listed in that document.

    • To follow this up, it was delivered to the wrong address, contacted The Good Guys and alerted them to it. Apparently they've arranged to collect it from that wrong address and will send it on to me, likely tomorrow. I believe that both recipients had the first name (me and the person who got it) and the orders got mixed up somehow.

  • +1

Just gave a call to GG store and they agreed to refund the delivery fee if I collect it from the store. Saved another $9 :).

  • I bought a Telstra home phone pack with this deal, coupon code worked, got a confirmation email from Paypal for the reduced price.

I just checked my Paypal account and the full price has been deducted!

I have emailed The Good Guys, waiting to hear.

I'd suggest anyone who's bought anything check their Paypal account and not trust the confirmation email.

    • Try pressing the + sign in the "My recent activity" in paypal which opens another set of transaction for the true amount or maybe check credit card statements if correct amount has been deducted. It appears correct for me.
