Notes

  • Minimum $50 spend per transaction.
  • Discount also applies to postage.
  • A maximum discount of $100 applies to each transaction (Transactions totalling at least $666.67 including postage will give you the maximum $100 discount).
  • Up to 3 transactions per person.
  • Payment must be done through PayPal.
  • Discount can be applied to items sold by overseas sellers, as long as you checkout on eBay.com.au.
  • You can purchase multiple items (even from different sellers) in one transaction by adding them to your cart. However, make sure all items are in the same currency. Otherwise, you'll have to checkout in each currency separately and each currency you checkout with will count as a separate transaction.
  • PayPal transactions will show the full amount after the purchase. However, if you login to your PayPal account, find the transaction(s), and click details, you will see a 15% contribution from eBay plus your actual charge to your funding source which makes up the difference. The total needs be 100% because the seller gets 100%. eBay just pays the 15% and you pay the rest. It should look something like this http://i.imgur.com/afbCvki.jpg (Image courtesy of ezarc - Obtained from previous 15% off offer).
  • Items can be 'purchased' before the promotion starts (ie. Auctions ending before 10am Sunday). Payment is to be made during the promotion period with the coupon code applied at checkout.
  • Don't forget to claim your 2% Cash Rewards cash back.
  • Or earn 2 Virgin Velocity Points for every $1 spent from Virgin Velocity.

  • Anyone think the Note 3 at $100 off i.e. $473 is pretty good?

I know the Note 4 is getting released but it's for a mate who doesn't mind the generation difference.

    Kogan Note 3

    • I say yes, depending on your use apart from quadHD res, being a little faster and a better camera I would say the $400-500 extra for the Note 4 isn't worth it.

    • $487.05 after the 15%

  • Ok, so when cashrewards was back up temporarily this morning after my purchase, after clicking through their ebay link before 10am and paying for the item after 10am to get the 15% off discount, I looked at my rewards and it lists $0.00. Am I boned? Will I be getting the 2% discount? First time using cashrewards, so I have nfi, but not super confident at this point LOL

    • +1

Takes a while before it will come through. Likely tomorrow.

    • +1

takes 2 days, and you can always report things missing for up to 60 days.

i guess they want their cut

    • I went through cashrewards earlier and added items to my card without paying for them. Not sure whether that will count as didn't go through again when I paid.

  • +58

Andrew here from Cash Rewards, we certainly did get well and truly OzBargained this morning. Frantically working on the issue now and just taken down fully to restore. I am told and hoping to have up again within 15 to 60 mins. Any one that has clicked through before it went down, rest assured the cashback should have tracked. We regret this has occurred, apologies to all OzBargainers and will definitely be taking steps to prevent any reoccurrence.

    • +1

Thanks for keeping us updated. Hope the site comes back online soon and you can earn some cold hard cash!

    • +6

Use Qantas reward instead before Cash rewards back on.

    • Thanks for the update guys

    • Been more than 60 mins, better buy before someone else takes the items I want.

omg all these ebay 15% deals off normal price items are annoying!

Does Kogan EBay give tax invoice? I want to claim TRS….

    • +4

Not on goods shipped from their HK/overseas warehouses. There is no GST on those purchases.

      • Yea, that was what I was fearing, was thinking of buying a galaxy s5, and most of their phones are HK grey import.. dang!

        thx for the reply/.

    • +1

Kogan mainly sells grey imports(GST excluded), do not expect TRS.

  • Thanks OP. Just need cashrewards to come back online now…

  • Any nexus 5 or lg g2 deals spotted? DWI seems to be the best I can find

  • any good deals on a decent gps?

Cashrewards down during this major event is no coincidence…i smell a rat….

    • +1

I can smell chicken… roast chicken with crispy potatoes and caramelized pumpkin… mmmm… ok, only in my mind, but it's getting very close to lunch time, so I think I might head out and buy some :)

    • +1

They can just remove ebay cashback for the 2 days.

    • +1

Nope, no coincidence everybody is trying use cashrewards when eBay has a 15% off. I'd be surprised if cashrewards has 1/100th of the server capacity that eBay.com.au has. It's a case of being caught with their pants down. Their loss as much as anybody else's really. Maybe this can serve a good stress test prior to Cyber Monday.

  • whats eglobal and dwi ebay store link? i cant find them on ebay :(

  • Can anyone tell me if this go pro from good guys http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GoPro-GPCHDHE-302-Hero3-White-Edi…
Is the same as this one from dick smith? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GOPRO-Hero3-White-Edition-Slim/25…

They look different. Ready to buy but just need some clarification. Thank you :)

    • +1

I think they are the same. TGG just seem to have used a badly taken photo without the case and all.

      • Thank you! Bought it :)

  • Annoyingly, eBay are forcing me to split transactions into smaller lots! I had 27 items in my cart, and it made me pay for them all in three separate transactions, so now I've used up my limit of three transactions already. Also it split the third transaction into something less than $50, so the coupon wouldn't work until I added another few $$$ worth of stuff to bring it over $50.

I still saved $48, but would have liked to buy more later on today or tomorrow. Some of the items were running out of stock so I didn't want to wait too long. It didn't let me pick the order either, I would have done the urgent transactions first and left the others till later. In too much of a hurry to remove them all and add them one by one manually.

Probably a good thing, as otherwise I would have spent way too much on crap I don't need!

    • +2

27 items! post cart for ideas please

    • +7

      27 items
as otherwise I would have spent way too much on crap I don't need!

      something doesn't add up

    • +1

Were they all in the same currency?
They will force you to separate the transactions if they are. Read the T&Cs

  • Any decent dual sim active phones?

  • I wonder if buyer and seller had colluded to share ~$43 from $666. Most of these deals have preconditions like the item had to be posted before the deal was announced.

    • Take all the profit if you are both buyer and seller

  • I'm getting a Paypal error "An error occurred during processing. Please try again. At this time, we are unable to process your request. Please return to eBay and try another option." over and over when I try to pay for my CELEBRATE15 purchase. Anyone else having trouble, I assume its overloaded however I can login to my paypal account ok???

  • Something like this (bicycle wheelset)

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2015-ENVE-SES-3-4-CLINCHER-CKR45-…

can have 15% discount as well? I really wish so- Hmm.

    • +2

      $100 capped discount

      • Thanks for reply. :) So it is 3199$ and 15% is 479.85$ however that discount is capped to 100$ so actual price will be 3099$ in this case. Well, it means 'high' price stuffs are still hard to achieve!

Then now back to PS4 deal. Haha.

  • cash rewards is back up

    • +1

      not it isnt

      • it just let me login and redirected me to ebay successfully.
however, it appears to be down, again.

    • maybe for 2 seconds…

    • stop making this post, it ain't gonna help cashrewards

    crucial mx100 256gb $106.67 discounted, only 4 left!

    • thanks got one

      • +1

        you're welcome :)

the seller just added 2 more listings, as of writing there are 38 units available.
i tried to submit it as a deal but the seller isn't top rated so no dice.

  • Couldn't be bothered waiting for Cashrewards any more so I bought a gaming mouse and replacement feet for it. Saved about $10. Cheers op.

I'll hold out for the 80-100 year sales

Sony DSC-RX100 MKIII for $720 Shipped seems like a good deal. Looks like they have sold 9 already today.

    • Got it from a Hong Kong seller in last %15 off sale for similar price. Totally worth it! As good as DLSR (Canon 600D) for most things except telephoto.

    • love it ! Perfect for selfies too :)

  • -2

    anyone bought anything yet?

    • Yeah but I can't pay for it due to the paypal error I posted earlier, grrr!

  • +1

Snagged a PS4 for $375 shipped, pretty sweet.

  • Toshiba Encore $249 @ Dick Smith. It has been $198 for the whole week :(

  • Was just going through Kogan store and saw iphone 5C 16gb for 260$.

    Is this for real?

    • +1

Yeah, but it's not a buy it now, it's an auction.

      • Not sure if the last good deal of 5c and 5s will be back later lol

      • Yeah, I saw the price and jumped of joy, did not pay enough attention.
I tried to hide my post but you guys can still see it. Ignore it.
        Tks.

    • I think you're looking at the current bids..
I can't seem to find a buy-it-now iphone 5c at kogan for that price. :(

      • Yeah, I saw the price and jumped of joy, did not pay enough attention.
I tried to hide my post but you guys can still see it. Ignore it.
        Tks.

  • Just managed to log in to Cashrewards.

Heads up for anyone looking for a pair of great speakers:
    Grabit Q Acoustic 2020i black speakers $328 less 15%

    WhatHiFi's award winning desktop/stand speakers

Staticice next best price is $357 plus freight at Cable Connection

Only the one pair left at 12pm Sunday but at least that one lucky OzBargainer will save around $50.

  • Anyone know of any good headphones under 1k that might be worth viewing? Don't care if it's second hand. Considering the HD800s from DWI/Eglobal that would JUST bring it under 1k. I do like the Sennheiser brand. Anyone find any good bargains?

    • I bought Shure SRH1540(closed) last 15% sale, quite decent headphones.
I'm thinking about getting ATH-AD2000X (open) but couldn't justify it even with the 15% off price since I've got Q701 for under $200 :/

      • Haha yeah. I remember posting that massdrop sale. If it was massdrop you're referring to.

I was thinking maybe even the HD700/650s but there are no good deals on those at the moment. Missed out on some Hifiman HE-6 the other day as well. Bah.

        • Oh yes, that was from your post, thanks heaps for that lol
Really the best bang for the buck in terms of sound quality/price ratio from my experience (the recent price drop of ue6000 is not far away for the value but Q701 got better sound quality).

Maybe you can try T1 as I heard they can be found for $700~$800?

        • @sheepy:

          Alright I'll look into it.

          Thanks.

        • @sheepy:
Any suggestion of a good short replacement cable for Q701?

        • @skatoz:
Don't know, I'm using the original cable.
Probably try headfi for some info.

Btw, just try to remove my cable and found it's stuck.
Is there any tips/tricks to remove the cable from Q701?

        • @sheepy:
I just pressed the little stick on the side and pulled the connector straight out. You have to apply some strength though.

The original cable is too long for me and it is heavy. It can pull my DACport (also from Massdrop) off the table.

          I found this cable: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-2m-New-Replacement-Audio-upgrad…
but it is listed in USD.

        • @skatoz:
Thanks, I finally pull it out, thought I need to rotate it or what, lucky I didn't really do it.
This ebay offer works on oversea listings as well so doesn't matter it's in USD or not :)

        • @sheepy:
I know, it was just that all other items in my cart were in AUD and I would have had to split them into two transactions. I am going to buy the cable anyway but it would be great to add something today to make the $50 limit for this ebay deal.

    • I picked up the AKG K712 Pro Over-Ear Headphones from Kogan. Comes down to $297 delivered which is a really good price.

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171455605200?ssPageName=STRK:MEWA…

  • Thanks OzBargain! I would have missed the sale.

Been planning to buy a laptop and bought a refurbished unit with full warranty. From the original new price of $599 down to $395 refurbished, I ended up paying $336 which included Office. Pretty happy with that. Got money leftover for accessories.

  • cash rewards is back online.

    • U were lucky, been trying for the past few minutes, no go.

do i need to do this before paying through paypal?

  • +2

I can't be the only one without anything fancy to buy? Great offer but don't really need anything.

    • +11

      Then you can save 100%

    • I've been needing to buy a dishwasher for ages, but been holding off till I found a good sale.

TGG had it on special on eBay, then with the 15% off from eBay I got a $1189 Bosch Dishwasher for $753 delivered.

  • Has anyone actually attempted to do multiple transactions? As in 666.67 for 1st transaction, then another 666.67 for 2nd.

That would work out for some people who wants to bundle stuff in those price brackets just to get the discounts.

  • Has anybody found a good Playstation Vita deal, that compare, or are better than previous deals?

    I'm struggling here.

    • +1

I also looked but there was nothing.
Or at least no where near the $200 + 16GB memory deal from way back

    • Does it have to be new? can often find vita's for under 150 on cash converters site.
