The longer you have been using Ozbargain, the easier it gets.

    • Enelop Batteries?

  • +2

NT but no SA still :/

  • Has anyone got any suggestions on items that might be worth getting? Can we cashrewards this in any way or other trickery too?

    • as usual cashrewards always work with ebay, normally TA or JV (or anyone else quick enough to think of) will be adding into the comment "don't forget cashrewards for another 2.5%" or recently some deal with 4% cashback. But i'm not sure where they had been tonight..

      • +3

They went out to dinner together.

        • -1

yea i think so, however i can't think of any reason that any person negged me for this??

        • @0031nek:

          Maybe it was jv :)

    • I think 2TB USB3 portable HDDs will be selling quickly, as will 240GB SSDs. Both come down to an effective price of about $70, once the voucher is taken into account.

  • Can someone help clarify point 5 from the T&c - Only 1 voucher will be awarded per registered Australian eBay account (and if applicable per registered Australian PayPal account)

Does it mean the email address registered for both eBay and PayPal needs to be the same ?

I'm still waiting for my $50 credit from the last deal.

    • Dont think u have to be same email address for ebay and paypal . My ebay and paypal are different email . I got all my vouchers from previous deals .

    • Worked for me last time. You haven't got your $50? Wasn't that a long time ago?

      • yeah last month just haven't had time to contact ebay, will do that tonight.

    • +3

if you're still waiting for your $50 credit voucher from the last deal, it means they might miss out yours already, better lodge an enquiry to figure out the delay.. it is unusually late now for not receiving it. (use live chat/phone call can get it resolved faster most of the time) good luck :)

I'm after an Apple TV 4, not sure though if these could be (pre-)ordered before the 26th though?

  • +6

Ok so I got impatient, here's a couple of "everyday" items some people might find useful?
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/30-x-500g-Parcel-Post-Satchels-/1… 30x500g (I assume pre-paid, surely?) satchels for Auspost - About $7.60 each (and obviously half that if you get the voucher)

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10-x-3kg-Express-Post-Satchels-/1…
10x3kg bags $13.95 a pop (half if you get the voucher)

    32gb Galaxy S6?
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Samsung-Galaxy-S6-G920f-Smart…
    $679 - so I guess $579 after the deal

    Ooooh!
    Samsung Evo 850, 500gb
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-850-Evo-500GB-Solid-State…
That'd be $159 AUD if you get a $100 voucher?

Many more on the site of course - hope those are all elligble?

    • Xbox One controller with play and charge kit?
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xbox-One-Controller-with-Play-And…
That would be $59 after the voucher? Not bad?

    • Those satches are not click and collect? how can u get $50 from it?

    • +11

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're getting a coupon, not cashback, so this makes it a 33% discount, not 50%.
You are paying $100 for $150 worth of stuff.

      • Yeah I did misword some of that, ooooooooops

      • +1

Depends on how you think about it, and your buying patterns. If you would normally spend $50 a month, then this month you can effectively get $100 worth of goods for your $50 (by spending the voucher next month).

If you only buy sporadically, then your calculation is correct.

        • +1

That's seriously broken budgeting. You budget in an ongoing basis with month to month targets that accumulate into an annual budget.
never budget on one level only. The only figure that is correct here is 33%
If you really wanted to be strict (using flawed budgeting logic), the discount is 0% because you pay the full amount upfront.

        • +1

@DeWalt: buying from eBay, for many, is a certainty. Kind of like buying petrol from Woolworths. Yes, you could buy from other servo's but it is mostly going to be the same price give or take. Sooner or later you will need petrol (ebay) again.

  • +2

thankfully only one voucher per user else I may have gone broke.

  • +1

that's it! no more buy it now purchases from ebay unless there's a coupon!

  • Any deals on protein?

    • -3

Just eat the white part of a hard boiled egg. Cost way less than a protein shake.

      • +6

1 x egg white yields 4-5g of protein. You'd have to eat half a carton to get the same amount of one serving of whey (~26g in a 30g scoop).

        • +21

          No whey!

        • +1

is Milky Way a good source of protein?

        • +1

          @Son ofa Zombie: Whey off.

        • +2

@Son ofa Zombie: Milky Whey might be?

        • @Son ofa Zombie:

Milk chocolate has a higher protein content - 8%, so a 400g Toblerone will give you a full serving of protein. Have one for breakfast one before bed and you're sorted for protein requirements.

      • |Whey is the liquid remaining after milk has been curdled |and strained. It is a by-product of the manufacture of |cheese or casein and has several commercial uses.

So make so cheese(cottage cheese) and you can have whey to drink too. Or paid for it.

        • +1

Whey protein powder has been filtered and dried. Leading to a concentrated protein mixture (up to 90% protein).

A glass of milk contains 8g protein. 80% of this is casein and 20% is whey protein. the casein will be caught in the curds of the cottage cheese. As will a lot of the whey protein (you'd need sweet whey, made with rennet, to get all the whey protein in the whey). But lets assume you bought rennet and produced sweet whey capturing all the whey protein, that's still only 1.6 grams per glass. To get your 26 grams of protein you'd need to drink gallons of raw whey. And that's for one protein shake. To get to the equivalent of two protein shakes a day, you have to be drinking an inordinate amount of whey, which would take even more milk to produce.

  • Hi, how do they know abt the ebay account is from WA?
Sorry if its a but silly question

    • +2

How are you gonna click and collect from WA lmfao

    • +2

They wouldn't mind you picking up in any of the other states included. :)

    • +3

      ooops :(

  • +1

    I hate living in WA….

  • +1

How do you know which retailers are participating stores? Can only search for pickup locations not retailers that offer Click n Collect.

  • +1

    any iphone 6 deals?

  • +109

To anyone who wants the deal but doesn't have any C&C near by. I am happy to help :) as the previous deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/205129#comment-2942361
I will pick the item for you and post it as you want (you will pay for postage)
Please contact me before you place any orders.
I will do this for free, the Ozbargainers who dealed with me last time were happy. You can go back to the comments.
Also no big items please :)

    • +2

Wow! You work at the post? :) +++ for your altruistic effort.

      • +14

No, but I live near a Woolworths and Australian post office. So I can do it in my free time.

        • +8

Two thumbs up for your thoughtfulness and generosity! It's really good to see.
          A+++++++++ OzBargain member. Highly recommended!

    • +2

I love you already, not that I will use it ;) Keep up the good job!

    • +5

      Wow, what a exceptional generousity.
Rarely I found someone who want to be bothered.

Ok, let's discuss what we should buy for around $100-$200.
That's not that heavy and big in size but also on special price but with high price & practical (will most likely be used).

      Let me see here:
      Condom
      Eneloop
      ……

      • I see where you're going there, need to protect the eneloops!

Oh wait that's all kinds of wrong…

        • bucks night sorted.

    • +3

wow, what people do for a badge.. in all honesty, if everyone was like msmhw who takes time out for their fellow citizens, the world would be a better place. Would be funny if someone bought sex toys and got him to pick it up and repost it, probably get to know the postoffice staff reaally well after that :P

      • +8

I am not doing this for useless badge, I just believe in helping others improve the community. So if I have free time and doing this helping other people why not? most likely I will spend this time playing video games, study or hang out with my friends.

        • THAT is community spirit

    • also guys feel free to link to this comment in any deals if this is allowed :)
may some ozbargainers didn't see this comment

    • +1

Imagine how many package you have to send when you got it, also the humility.
"Hi I need to send all of these item into different address for each"
Customer service look at the trolley full of the eneloop, condom, ssd, Hard drive, Micro SD, some un-orthodox stuff, the look at the customer service face… Priceless

    • you're truly a saint…bless you

  • Excuse my blondeness but does this mean I can buy a lawnmower at masters eBay for say 220 and pick it up at Woolworths and get a $100 eBay voucher.

    • +3

No, because masters offers its own pickup in store (like good guys, dick smith) not part of the simply collect service.

Only simply collect orders to Woolworths or bigw are part of this promo.

    • +1

do you even have a lawn?

      • I have over 50 lawns to mow

        • was just trying to gauge the level of blondeness. lol

If u r a pro, get yourself a better than a $200 mower. Thank me later.

        • +1

@Son ofa Zombie: Actually got unbeatable deals at masters a few weeks ago .A $1200 mower reduced to $565 and also a $849 mower reduced to $375 both new in boxes both self propelled. Was just using the $200 mower as an example.

  • +1
    • Thanks! Didn't know that was out yet.

  • +2

    http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Simply_Collect?#map

Jump on this to find out which stores participate

  • Here we go again.

  • +4

So I thought I'd take advantage of this and get some Lego Dimensions level packs, then use the $50 voucher to get a few more level packs.

Seems like the only seller who does click and collect is selling the packs for $58. $20 more than Target. Target isn't part of this (dammit). So if I bought the packs with this seller, I'd end up spending as much as I'd save not buying from them.

  • +1

I predict I won't be buying anything again, it's hard enough for me to buy a single item to get the voucher, let alone buying a second item to redeem it.

    • You can buy multiple items in one transaction.

  • Where is the code?

    • Wat code?

    • It's there can't you see it!

      • +18

You have to reveal the code by pressing ALT-F4.

        • +6

Or deleting System32, which unlocks the $100 voucher.

        • +2

@Orpheus: Arhh! My dad is gonna kill me now! I wiped out his work laptop!, posting this on my iPad! You better tell me how to fix it…… Not happy!,

        • +1

          @dtnvong:

Just make a document on the iPad named "Recover System32". With that on the screen hit the laptop with the iPad to recover the system32 folder. If it doesn't work you are not hitting it hard enough.

        • +1

@Duff5000: oookay.. are you also familiar with the "open your mouth without showing your teeth" trick?

      • +12

Ok, got it thanks. I see it now. The Alt-F4 works. Thanks to eug.

    • Get out!

  • -1

    What's big w return policy like ;)

  • +1

Can you add to cart and buy from different sellers all at once? I mean to get the higher $100 cash back?

    • +1

      Yes you can.

  • +7

So another dick enlargement is going to happen

  • Are there any cots? Unfortunately target doesn't participate; so I switched to looking through the toys, and then the wife came and asked what I was doing…

    • +1

      toys.. wife…

      internet is a cruel place.

  • -1

Can you buy from two or more different sellers in one transaction?

    • +3

yep, just add to cart :)

  • +2

Is there a way to filter stores with click and collect only?

  • +4

I can see many are excited, but please just remember that this deal is likely 30% off (plus 2% from Cashreward), not a 50% off as it might seem to be.

Also eBay prices are typically 10% - 15% dearer from my experience than Amazon or independent online sites, so it's something else to consider. I've had a hard time finding items to buy to use my last $50 voucher just a few days ago (really bad timing btw).
