    • My Cashback pending amount was changed back to zero or declined and never confirmed?

If this is the case it usually means that the retailer has declined your Cashback for some reason. We are not usually informed of the reason why a retailer might decline a transaction – but common reasons are as follows:

      •xxxxxx
      •xxxxxx
•A coupon code was used that was not listed on the Cashrewards website in which case rewards may not be payable.

*those terms may only be applicable to specific stores such as eBay and David Jones. No harm to try I guess.

      • I made a purchase on Christmas day that is still tracking at 4% of RRP, even though it was discounted and I used a voucher. That doesn't mean it will end up coming through, but there is hope.

  • anyone else keen to share a code ? Keen for the BT pair

  • +3

Just here to join the list of beggars who need a spare code please!

  • How do these sound compare to momentum?

  • Thanks OP. Got the MDR-ZX330BT for the missus. Cheers mate. AUD 42.98 delivered. Bargain!

  • My $25 voucher from last time still hasn't come :(

  • Picked up a BT pair. Thanks OP

  • Same as everyone else, im happy to swap my sportsdirect voucher for a 25 dollar sony one

  • +1

Thanks OP. Purchased 1xMDRZX330BT for $43 with $25 voucher. Been looking for wireless/bluetooth rechargeable headphones for ages but never wanted to spend more then $50. Very good price!

  • +6

Same as everyone else, I'm happy to swap my Dicksmith $25 gift card for a 25 dollar sony one

  • Awesome thanks OP! Scored the BT cans for $43. Had a look for something to spend the $25 voucher on the other day, but I'm glad I waited until something decent cropped up. Nice one!!

  • Going to join the long queue of people who didn't register for the egift card a while back. If anyone has a spare code it would be much appreciated and I can pass mine on when I receive it

  • i know this is a long shot.. but anybody have a spare $25 code they are not using? pls pm me.. ><

  • +2

With all these view/purchases, I doubt Sony has enough "Damaged Stock" to cover all transaction.

    From T&C
    - "Offer available strictly while stock lasts. Backorders may not be fulfilled."
    - "Sony reserves the right to change these offers at its discretion. Availability of products is not guaranteed."

    • +2

Yeah, was thinking this too. Almost 4000 clicks now. Surely 12 semi-trailers didn't run over 4000 units of headphones!

  • -4

Got 3 sets of bt headphones of various quality.. couldn't help myself for a total of 37 odd. Thanks op. Must be clearing out the old stuff for the newly ces announced stuff.

  • Thanks mate!

  • Does anyone have a code they can spare? please P.M. me, I'll return another code once mine comes through the email…

    waiting on ecoupon….

i guess i am at the point that if this deal sold out before i got the coupon, i'll just give up without any regret. since i already have wired decent headphone, just want one for light usage if i am lucky.

  • anyone has a spare code to borrow?
just did survey, will send as soon as i get it.

  • Just registered for a code.

Anyone want to swap a code available now with mine in 7 days? (Wouldn't be bad if you're not taking this deal up)

  • Also awaiting on a coupon. If by an chance someone has a spare one just pm me, I and the Gods of Bargain would be forever in your debt! :D

  • If any fellow ozbargainers have a spare $25 code I can use, please PM me :) will be much appreciated :) still waiting for mine to arrive :(

  • +2

Damn I hope their eCommerce system is up to the task. Should they have to cancel / refund orders somewhat manually one-by-one with multiple steps involved, this could take some poor person days/weeks.

  • -4

got one. :) $37.98 for the over ear.

    • Which knob negged me.

    • -1

Ecoupon entered is not valid for this customer type.

        • How? Need some sort of sony device to register?

        • +1

          It appears so.
I had a Sony BT speaker already. I hope the headphones are as awesome as the speaker is!

        • @Danthemanz: Thanks…just registered sony product…works great.

  • Still waiting for my survey voucher to arrive. If anyone has an expiring voucher and not planning to use it on this deal and is willing to swap please PM me. Thx.

  • Hopefully they honor the legit ecoupon users.

  • Can't seem to make payment via credit card. Keep getting Error Invalid fingerprint. Anyone else with the same problem?

    • +1

Use Microsoft Edge/IE. Chrome doesn't work (mobile and PC). Haven't tried firefox or other browsers.

      • Thanks!!!

    • Same. Both chorme and FF dont work.

      • FF worked for me yesterday

    • use BPAY

      • does cashrewards work when using bpay?

        • Yes.

    • No go on Safari too.

  • Can anyone pls pm me the voucher. thanks

  • Just grabbed one of those MDRZX330BT. Thanks OP!!!

  • +1

Thanks OP and the folks who confirmed that payment does not work on Chrome and FF. Managed the order through IE and used the $25 voucher.

I am not sure WTH Sony maintains such an eStore (1) Forgot Password email did not work at all to retrieve my account (2) Payment gateway not compatible with most used browsers. Wake up folks..

    • yep, FF does not work nor IE8 (I don't use it) - had to install IE11 /the things you do for a bargain/.

  • If anyone still has their voucher and it is about to expire, I'd gladly trade you mine. Would love to get a pair but am still waiting on the $25 voucher. I'll send you mine once I've received it, and you basically get another month till expiration :)

    Invalid Fingerprint on all browsers

I have a pair of Monster DNA.Would the MDR-ZX330BT be better sound or about the same?

    • +2

They are better because of the challenge.. thrill, and excitement of paying less than anyone else has.

      • Many got the Monster DNA thrown in when buying a Telstra phone online, so effectively free. A 4GX Buzz phone, Monster DNA headphones, $10 credit & 5GB cost $63 delivered, less possible $10 cash back. Hard to beat that deal.

  • Bought the $6.98 ones :) Had to use BPAY

  • Desperately wanting a voucher. PM if you want to sell it / are feeling generous. I never got an email for the Sony $25 offer.

    • Have you checked your spam folder?

    • I never got the $25 voucher either and it seems a lot of people didn't. I'm wondering if it's because they match the DOBs from your Sony membership details. I think I may have used a fake DOB on the survey. Just a thought.

  • Bought a pair of MDREX150APB for $3.78 delivered after $25 voucher + $3.20 cashback. Cheers OP!

  • -1

Anyone feeling generous enough to let me have their $25 voucher they're not using? I've just done the survey but it could take a week for mine to arrive.

  • -8

I have tried to use $25 voucher(https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/226290) and $30 off code(https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/224828?page=1#comment) together, but there is not luck for me? Anyone successful?

This is going to become another bupa at the way it's going. I bet that Sony will cancel most orders come Wednesday…

    • yeah pretty sure this'll be bupa'd

  • I opted using Bpay but the biller code sent via email does not exist? Anyone having the same issue?

    • i had to go the bpay route as well. though i noticed after i paid, it said you could ring and pay via CC and just quote your order number. so maybe try that.
anyway the biller code i was sent for bpay worked fine. it came up as 'sony store' when i put it in. biller code was 52092 - same as yours?

i tried multiple browsers to use my credit card - chrome and IE both would come up with 'invalid fingerprint'. i tried IE on both win7 and win8 both normal and metro versions. upgraded IE on my win7. all to no avail.

i'm pretty sure after all the browser hopping i won't get my cashrewards but i'll be happy if order goes through at all. will have to wait until monday to see.
i also used my $25 voucher.

      • Yes same code (52092) via Bankwest

        • All good now.

      • can't edit now so using reply - just got the cashrewards email after all.

@Prav - glad to see your code does work. hopefully they won't be cancelled come monday :)

  • +2

just a heads up, it would be wise to consider the risks of using BPAY on something that may be cancelled
    from bpay website http://www.bpay.com.au/Help-Centre/Personal-User/BPAY-Servic…

I didn’t get what I paid for. Will BPAY give me a refund?
Unlike some credit card payments, your financial institution isn’t able to get a refund for a BPAY payment from a business that doesn’t deliver, even if you paid from a credit card account. Contact the biller directly or talk to the consumer protection authorities in your state.

  • +2

Poor Sony's paying more in GST than what it gets from order

    • The order's invoice (that comes in the order) indicates the correct GST.

  • +2

Over 6000 clicks and I doubt they have that many damaged boxes in stock.

    • i would doubt they have the stock as well - i'll be surprised if my order gets processed; although out of 6000 clicks some will only be browsing and then some will choose one headphone over the other.

    • +1

Hmm well there's no option to buy the non-damaged box product, so I'd like to think that once the allocation of the damaged ones are exhausted, they will fill remaining orders with regular stock. Plus it also says on the product page "Some items may have damaged boxes." (so some may not, by that logic?)

      • +4

i reckon there arent any damaged stock. I reckon they're probably required to abide by their own "minimum price" rules that they have on other retailers, hence use the damaged stock excuse

    • 4000/6000 of those clicks probably haven't received their $25 voucher (myself included).

  • -2

Anyone have any codes left? Would really appreciate it!

  • Must be a whole warehouse got flooded.

  • Just placed an order, let's see if they end up cancelling it. Had to use BPAY too, credit card option gave me "invalid fingerprint" every time.

    • +1

Should we make the BPAY payment? Or wait and see what happens?

      • +1

Just got off a 30 minute call with their customer service (off-shore)…was so tempted to just cancel the order as I was losing my patience to explain the issue.

I too am worried about BPAY if the order is cancelled so asked if I can change the method of payment from BPAY to credit card.

The consultant said they have no written procedure on how so he ended up submitting an incident report to the Sony Online Australian team (which is not likely to respond by Wednesday).

At first he even said I missed the 24 hour payment window (I ordered on 23rd January) by the 24th January. I had to explain to him that BPAY transactions only go through on a business day so it would of been impossible to get the BPAY funds across by Sunday 24th January.

Great deal at $67 but I don't want to risk BPAY and more headaches chasing up for a refund compared to the safety of paying via credit card.

I also logged the "invalid fingerprint" issue during this call.

If anybody has any spare coupons, I would like them. Thanks :)

  • -2

Still waiting for my voucher to arrive, does anyone have a spare they can provide me. Sorry for the begging, but don't want to lose out on this deal whilst I waited for Sony to send me a coupon via a voucher code superglued on the back of an injured sloth.

    Thanks

  • -5

After CR and #30 coupon we'll be GETTING PAID $1.22 to "buy" the earphones

  • -6

LOL 9.5mm Drivers, sound tinny as a boat on the water. My XBA-4s have lastest the time :)

    • +4

LOL did your "XBA-4s" cost less than 7 bucks?

      • -8

haha, no.. but they are 4way and 13.5mm drivers, i need bass.

  • Anyone know why I never received a confirmation email for MySony?

    • -2

I've tried everything and can't make an account, and didn't get a voucher from 3 weeks ago.
In other words, dont bother, the bluetooth headphones here are ferrite, old tech and 20-20khz limited range. Old stuff, so not fussed now.

  • I got the earbuds but can't find any reviews of them online…

  • +1

"We currently experiencing an unusually high number of visitors on our website, please come back later to buy this product."

    • Getting same message…
