This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

Example:

  • Richlands QLD
  • ULP
  • 111.9/litre

There are two "tricks" that can be extremely beneficial as there is a common trend experienced by 7-Eleven App users: 1) If you receive an error processing your credit/debit card, you can purchase a 7-Eleven Gift Card in-store and apply the credits instantly onto the App. 2) You do not need to use the funds on your App to pay for the fuel, you can lock-in the price and pay via Cash or Card at the checkout saving the hassle of constantly topping up, gift cards, etc.

Master131 spends a lot of time creating and maintaining the script at Project Zero Three that we all know and love.

          At first I just kept using the 'old way' with external GPS emulator app, but once i tried the in built it was definitely preferred for me

          Though as below, currently this new one is detected GPS faking app for me also

          I'm a big fan of the location ability within the app. Was very handy. I'm also getting an error stating that mock locations has been detected

          Yeah Freighter the location thing is awesome if you can add that again.

          Also that anonfile url went full spammy on me. The tinyupload one was fine.

              @Freighter: Awesome. Yeah seems that app detects mock location as others have said for whatever reason.

              The anonfile one actually downloaded a .Jar file for me? Then did all that "you've won" etc. Spam.

            I've used ElevenMe, it feels like a quick app to push out some ads, for capitalising on Master131's work.

            You can get the same notifications via email using a guide made by Master131

            Sweeny64, you have been a 7/11 pilot almost since the start, surely you would have noticed Master131's email price alert instructions?

              @cwongtech: I've been meaning to make a donation myself for a while now.

              I just found Freighter's donation app - $5 sent his way - definitely saved that and then some and these days locking for 2-3 others at a time and they're very grateful given the direction fuel prices WERE trending.

              I'd like to do the same for Master without the need for cresting a Patreon account, any options?

              I'm probably like sweeny, I just haven't come across the email script in the year or so since I've been locking. Other than that, my emails get thrashed as it is so the ElevenMe app is a welcome interface.

              I've voiced my view in other deal posts about KB's app and still stand by it.

      The anonfile one works fine here Samsung Galaxy S9 Android 10 using Fake GPS so thanks again Freighter If the extension has .jar just remove/rename the file to .apk and it should work.
      I noticed the file size of the tinyupload version is slightly different (different filename too) and mock location doesn't work on that version for me.
      Just thought I'd let people know for those who prefer to use Fake GPS or other spoofing apps.
      Also make sure you uninstall all old versions first, including any you may have installed in 'secure folder'

        what do you need? i have a samsung galaxy note 10 plus have tried both links and both say they know i am using a spoof gps. i also tried on bluestacks and same thing is that better? not being a smartass just asking for future reference

          Well you didn't say what was happening. Saying it's "not working" could be a quite a few different reasons i.e. conflicting signing signature, fake GPS not working, root detection not working, force closing straight away.

          Which Android version are you using?

            @Freighter: i dont have root. i am on android 10 the previous apk that was modified worked. nothing force closes just says can detect spoofing

            @Freighter: actually, same for me using 'GPS Emulator' on android 9.1 (Huawei p20 pro)
            Detects mocked gps location

            Have been using the previous 'location magic built in' version recently, but prior to that the same gps emulator android app worked without issue with the previous app release

      Not sure why you have been downvoted. The APK release by Freighter on 10/03/2020 at 5.40pm certainly led to the same issue for me.

      While Freighter's release later that night may have resolved the issue, it's not obvious from his post or the comments generally that this issue has been addressed. I would think that the issue would be considered serious given that, if mock location is detected twice, the user account and associated mobile no. is blacklisted?

    Note: You'll need to uninstall your other APK(s) if you wish to use this one. Only install the APK file that should be called "7_eleven_2044.apk". Nothing else, no spam will come to you that way. Don't click anything on any of the popups. If you have a better long-lasting host, I can upload it to that if you guys prefer.

    Okay, this one works. At least it has worked for 3 or 4 other people and the mock location is built into it again. You won't be able to use a mock location app if you use this APK but that's the way the cookie crumbled. You're free to make your own APKs if you don't like it :o)!

    Detailed usage:
    Mock location - Click on 'Store Finder' and either search for your store, or click on a store and press the orange directions button. That's all that is needed. You can dismiss the navigation popup, I just didn't remove that functionality.

    The multiple device IDs may come at a later stage, depending when I get time. This will get you all through it until then though!

    Shameless plug: Want to throw me a buck or 2? Use my app. It obviously takes me a few hours to make something more 'advanced' like this, and I do it for fun and for you guys. Releasing stuff to the public is benefiting for the community and I'm sure I save you all a fair chunk of change a month with my releases.

    For those who have samsung device and was not able to install the mod app, please ensure you uninstall the app within samsung secure folder if for some reason you have place the app within it.

    I tried both mirrors but when I click 'Install', the progress bar is completed then says 'App not installed'.

    I uninstalled old APK and restarted my phone but nothing :(

        That's because you didn't click the magic Orange button in Store Finder to ensure the target store has been set

          I've installed Freighter's APK from one comment up, but I don't get the location saved message that I see in your screenshot. I just keep getting my local servos when searching.

          Any chance you could please help me out with this?

          No other fake GPS is used, and I am doing this on my Galaxy S10 on Android 10.

          Edit: Nevermind, reinstalled the APK and removed my mock location app from developer settings seems to have done the trick! Thank you!

            @Mr Idiom: That's because Freighter's newer versions have built-in mock location function, thus negating the need to use an external fake GPS app :)

            Freighter's first versions and all of Master131's versions just had the mock location detection code disabled

            If Freighter has saved you bucketloads of money, make sure you chuck a couple dollars his way through his donation app!

            His efforts and APKs are 100% original and does not piggyback off anyone else's work!

            Also remember to thank Master131 for ProjectZeroThree, otherwise we would be flying blind!

                ElevenMe app is made by BernardKung.
                It serves as a prettier interface for Master131's ProjectZeroThree site

                But fundamentally, doesn't really add much value apart from saving you from copying and pasting coordinates (which you don't do anyway with Freighter's new modded APK that has the Mock Location functionality built into the Orange Directions Button in Store Finder)

        I figured out my issue.

        For me, it was because my phone didn't uninstall the previous version, it sent it to a "recycle bin" of sorts.

        Once I fully uninstalled the old version, the new version installed fine.

        The magic orange button doesn't work for me, but Fake GPS still works, so I'm all good

    I can't seem to install the new version. It keeps saying can't open file/folder 7_eleven_2044.apk

    [edit] ok managed to install it by downloading a new file explorer and using that instead of total commander.

    I've got issue warning with this latest version.
    When I press Find my best local price, the warning comes up

    Tested both on the following phones:

    Using Samsung s10+ hybrid sim Australia version. Android 10
    Using oneplus 3T international version. Android 9

    Using store finder is fine, it can go to the location according to mocklation app.

    But when I pressed find my best local price then it detect the mock location error.

    Already uninstalled and reinstalled both mocklation and 7 eleven v2044 but still the same issue.

    Appreciate if there is a solution for s10+.

    I know how to edit new app version from Qpython setting.py but do not know how to do it from termux. Tried typing "Is" as suggested previously but returned bad command. Uninstalled and reinstall termux thinking the new version has been applied at source after reading github's pull request but it returned 'oops error'trying to lock in. I may have misunderstood the pulled request tho.

    Is anyone else not able to login? I can't login with either the normal or modded app with either mine or my wife's account. It's saying "We are unable to find your account please check that your email address and password are correct [Error code: Foxtrot]"

    Edit: Changed password and all good now.

    I'm aware that projectzerothree is not updating - won't have time to look at it until tomorrow after work. Use FuelWatch WA/FuelCheck NSW or other sources as an alternative.

    EDIT - Never mind, turns out the fix is simple. Happy locking.
