(ALDI) Clearance: Updated List of Items (Post Your Local Clearances)

In the past few months, I've noticed ALDI's clearance items increase hugely. Most of the time it is stock that has been in the store for the while but sometimes it's new stock which mysteriously appears.

So as I go to ALDI in Brunswick multiple times in the week, I'd thought I'd post an updated list of what clearance stuff they have going that looks interesting. We've had people post they've seen cheap bikes or whatever but only a couple in stock.

Spot a good clearance item? Post a comment in this thread with the item, date, location, quantity left and price.

    • great deal! best wheelchair kmart has is this: https://www.kmart.com.au/product/doll-with-wheelchair-429258…

    • Is the link correct ….. because it says "6 March 2019" when I click on it ???

      • Didn't figure out a way to upload photo, so just use the link posted previously.

    • Just in case . The weight of wheelchair is over the 15kg limit to be handled by care staff . Otherwise awesome price if that is not applicable.

  • Merged from [SA] Segway D18 KickScooter $399 (was $469) @ Aldi
    Go to Deal

Had two people tell me at their local Aldi store saw the D18 eScooter has a shelf price tag of $399 showing as 'New Low Price' and one included a photo.

The Aldi stock check webpage does not reflect the in-store price

    • +1

Yep saw the same this morning (Coomera) few on the shelf same price as above

    • Is it a good scooter? For recreational riding with kids.

      • See comments on previous price here. 100kg weight limit, 18km range.

      • Cheack your state laws in Victoria its a $909 fine for riding in public and you have to be over 18 years

        • so you only get fined if you are over 18?

        • I can’t believe the laws and regulations Victorians put up with. It’s like they want to be ruled over.

          • @entropysbane: I would get one if i lived im more urban area the fine is cheapear than car rego and insurance 😂

    • Ahhh this is what I've been waiting for! Them discounts :D
Truthfully given how good the price was on the Xiaomi recently it's still tempting too!

    • While apparently it's legal to sell them,Electric Scooters are currently banned in NSW and the relevant fines apply.

    • can these go faster than 25kmhr?

    • Today I noticed new lower shelf price is $299.
The image https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/388101/99042/image.jpe… is from Salisbury store.

Just a thought, perhaps the post should be a deal and not clearance as the shelf tag states shelf lower price again.

  • Merged from [VIC] Segway Ninebot Kickscooter D18 $399 (Clearance) @ ALDI
    Go to Deal

Bought one, had a ride pretty comfortable due to it's 10" tyres. Saw it at few Aldi Southland, Carnegie, St. kilda. Online checker showing quite a few stores in stock.

10" tyres, decent brand albeit lower range 18km and not so powerful motor.

But I recently bought 2x Segway c20 for $389 each, I think D18 for $399 is pretty good value. As previously discussed, if you travel flat is pretty good & comfortable.

    Good luck, ride responsibly

Is it legal to use this riding past a cop shop without a helmet?

    • Is it safe to lock this in front of Coles door like a bike?
Or should I bring it in, fold it and put it in a trolley?

      • +1

        Which Coles?

      • +1

Safer to fold up and trolley it. eScooters are a favourite target by thieves. You see them go up for sale on Gumtree/marketplace where they've lost the charger.

        • Thanks. I was considering to get one and ride it to supermarkets and swimming pool.
Sounds like its not a good idea to ride it to the pool because the lockers aren't big enough.

          • @TanedaR:

            the lockers aren't big enough.

Is your wallet big enough for the $900 fines?

            • @jv: Don't ride it on the main roads, on suburban streets only
              there isn't enough police anyway.

              • @TanedaR:

                on suburban streets only

                $900 fine

                • @jv: only if you get caught or you've got a nasty neighbour.

                  • @TanedaR:

                    only if you get caught

No, they also illegal if you aren't caught.

Also, you are liable for any injuries you cause and you aren't insured.

                    • @jv: Illegal is a thing, $900 fine is another.
While I still wear a mask on public transport and it's still mandatory, but many people aren't.
Similarly, my concern is whether I will get a fine, which the chance is low, not whether its legal or not.

                      • @TanedaR:

Illegal is a thing, $900 fine is another.

They are amazing for last mile here in the ACT. Getting to and from bus stop goes from 15-20min to 5-8 min= 40 min a day saved. I got a light one that doesn't go far or fast but folds flat and is light so doesn't get in other peoples way and it has been great.

        • +1

They are amazing for last mile here in the ACT.

ACT are one of the few places where they work well.

Wide footpaths, not too much foot traffic. Very different scenario in VIC.

        • -3

          Drive a car?

        • Whats 'light' exactly. Thought about one for travel. Something to get you out of an airport to public transport would be great. Say 6km range <10kg? If so, what model?

    • ride responsibly

      yet illegally

      • Oh I was going to put one in my luggage and take home to legally ride.

      • Yep, that's a thing.

As is irresponsibly and legally, as well as the two you might be more familiar with: responsibly and legally, and irresponsibly and illegally.

    • Ok I will wait for it to drop under $300,
like the F20A, it was first $499@ALDI then marked down to $299 3 months later

      • That was just states that they were illegal in?

  • I thought I ask this question here….

I've used Aldi's 60 day no question asked return policy a few times with no issues and want to get some feedback before I proceed with my next one…

Bought the Aldi firepit for $99 last month and it's been working great. It developed some rust but not functional.

I saw a few still available at my local Aldi reduced to $49…

    I feel it's a decent unit for $49 but not $99…

I can just return it with the receipt and box to get a $99 refund and buy a new one for $49 but it will just go to landfill…

Has anyone here claimed a price drop to get a refund on the price difference instead?

    • +6

Hello! I used to work at ALDI and it is very unlikely that they will refund the difference. What I would recommend if you're hesitant about it going to landfill, is to buy one of the units for $49 and then return that unit with the old receipt.

You'll get a $99 refund and then you can just keep your existing firepit. They'll be able to sell the one you just returned as normal - avoiding waste.

      • +3

Yep, way easier than trying to chuck a firepit back into the box.
I would just bring the old receipt, buy the new one. Drive down to another store and return it with the old receipt. Nothing goes to the landfill and also save yourself some headaches.

        • Exactly. I've done this before with a bike I bought from aldi. Wasn't any chance I was going to rebuild another bike, but also wasn't going to miss the discounted price

Regarding the previous steel deck Aldi Mower from last month (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/725387) on sale for $399.00 and reduced to $299.00 in some Aldi's.
This morning Aldi Marrickville Metro had these on special for $199.00. Not sure if this price applies to other Aldi. stores.

We were doing shopping in local Aldi and found this 4 pcs outdoor furniture set. Staff said it's likely Australia wide pricing as marked as $199 on the sticker without any reference to discount.

Normal price is $399 and appears to be special from earlier this month

    • Hi Op

Which Aldi store did you personally spot these at?

      • +1

        St Marys NSW

    • Can't search for it via stock checker, so must be clearance specific to that store. This went very quickly in most stores according to the Aldi fan page on FB.

  • Merged from [NSW] Ferrex Pro 20v Cordless Brushless Hammer Drill Kit for $49.99 @ ALDI Ambarvale
    Go to Deal

I went into Aldi today to grab the 5 in 1 garden tool kit and saw this beauty on special. 11 units in stock at Ambarvale Aldi from what I saw at 1.30pm. Seems to be discounted from $80 normal price. Was listed on Aldi’s special buys a few months ago. Comes with 2Ah battery and charger (which currently sells for $40 alone). Could try other stores to see if they are running these out at the same price. Please note, this is not the elcheapo brushed hammer drill that comes with the multi tool packs. This one is the much better brushless model.

    • +1

Decent budget drill and a great price for the entire kit. Effectively paying only $10 extra for the drill as the charger & battery are on special at $40. Have seen in several Aldi stores over the weekend for $60 but not as low as this.

    • +1

….I mean a $20 Hand Drill Pro 14 makes similar level quality holes. Most people can’t even tell the difference. And the hand drill can also work without power and get you mad cred on the Interweb. Why the fuss with a $49.99 drill? Should I expect to be neg voted to oblivion with this comment from the drill nerds?

    • Would have grabbed if i hadn't got the bunnings response a while back which I have not used, need an impact driver around this price

    • LOL, so you finally bought the 5 in 1 tool instead of waiting for the brushless one with rear motor, can't be trusted lol.

Blacktown NSW Aldi store is clearing A LOT OF items. All items still have stock. The price is no long listed in their website, they are the left items from previous Aldi Special Buys. You might be able to find your local store doing this clearance as well.

    Stock estimations:
    Petrol Lawnmower: 6
Plenty of stocks left for cast iron roaster , Heavy duty tarp and Premium washing brush

Lawnmower price went up 49c? And I thought those Aldi mowers couldn't get worse….

            "Lawnmower $199 o $99.49"

    • Is it a self propelled mower? Thanks

      • I think it is.

      • Doubt it.

        Box doesn't say it is.

        • True but based on the photo I thought it would be self propelled

          • @Newbie2021:

            based on the photo

            That make sense…

Why put it on the box if people can guess from the photo…
