        You can no longer mirror iOS based AFL apps streams to an Apple TV via AirPlay, it was removed from 2017, the only way to watch LIVE AFL on a TV is by purchasing Foxtel

          You can watch Live AFL on TV using the AFL Video addon in Kodi. Not HD but certainly watchable and better than paying for Foxtel. Works with free AFL Live Pass subscription from Telstra.

          Another option (for those really technically minded).

          Set up Charles Proxy on your PC (paid app).

          In the proxy, set up SSL sniffing and share the certificate with your phone.

          Set your phone to use a manual proxy (advanced wifi settings).

          Launch the game in the app.

          In the proxy results you should set a url similar to:

          http://bpmultilivexxxxx.ngcdn.telstra.com/out/u/protected/xx…

          That url will now work for current broadcast, so you can view the url in VLC on the computer or watch it on chromecast or do whatever you like with it

    Android App for Foxtel Now is totally crap. If you pause what is currently playing while casting it, you can't unpause it. You then have to "resume", but it doesn't resume where you left off, it goes from the start again, and you have to scroll to where you were.

    Just a warning, last time I posted the exact same deal of 3 months free pop pack https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/286973

    There were a number of comments towards the end of the first month about foxtel charging for the package even though they had correctly entered the promo code. Because of that, I recomend using a card where you can either deactivate the account temporarily to prevent charges appearing or a card which has no balance in the account such as what I used which was an unactivated Qantas or Virgin Frequent Flyer cash card

      Just worked for me. Did you try incognito mode with Chrome? That seemed to work for people who had problems. For me it worked just fine with normal mode with Chrome on iMac.
