That is a suspiciously low price

  • +5

    it could be grey import.

Could you hear Band 28 on it?

    • Personally, the band 28 comments never get old for me.
Same with Scab's 'user name checks out'.
      Always makes me smile

      • No love for jv?

  • definitely a no no.

  • Does paypal cpver you for fakes, item not as described?

    • Are there any known fakes for Bose?

      • Just like the known fakes for Beats headphones back in the time?

    • I just ordered one, but if its fake, paypal should get your money back is it?

    • Ebay does cover for fakes, paypal covers for fakes too.

      • +1

Yeah you can get fakes of these, saw them in Bangkok at Mbk.

The fakes look very good only the box gives it away.

  • Just about everything in his rating history are for items lower than $5.

    Be careful.

  • There's only 4 in stock, so you better be quick.

  • wow. I will watch this one with interest. But yeah I am suspicious. Good luck to those who decide to take the dip

  • is it real bose ?

      Boss

Must be legit. Introducing the new Boss QC35 QuiteCumfart…

        • +3

          Enough about your weekend activities.

  • It says unbranded under brand wtf?

  • Listed as unbranded
Size Measurements dont match Bose's website
463KG? Heaviest headphones ive ever heard of
and other ebay listings copy pictures and specification down to even the 463KG weight error.

    FAKE!

    • Could just be a mistake. A fake would not have incorrect details, that would be stupid.

      • too many to be just a simple typing error.
the size measurements every one is wrong not one or two numbers the whole thing.

        • Yes, but if you're selling a fake, you would get the details correct wouldn't you? Otherwise, what's the point in selling a fake? If it's going to be obvious that it's fake no one will buy it.

Maybe he was copying them down and copied the wrong product specs.

Not that I think this is genuine btw.

I'm just saying specs wrong = fake is not a correct thing to assume. May as well just label 'fake' in the listings if you're going to do that.

You wouldn't put the weight as 263KG if it's a fake. It's obviously human error and they meant grams. An actual fake would not be 263KG.

and nothing ever happened to someone who bought suspiciously heavy headphones…

  • +4

    32 sold… they're going to have a bad time.

  • Counterfeit items

If a buyer suspects that an item is counterfeit, and there are strong indicators that the item is counterfeit, we don't require the buyer to return the item to the seller. The buyer agrees to cooperate with us to ensure the proper disposal of the item. In such instances, we refund the buyer for the full cost of the item and original shipping, and the seller reimburses us for the refund. The buyer may not sell the item on eBay or elsewhere.

    • I'm pretty sure you need to prove they are fake - such as an obvious defect or authentication office proving.

  • These r fake Iv seen fake ones popping up up at the markets now like the beats craze

  • +1

lol 28 negative reviews in one month

  • The listing ended because they were reported

    • How do you know?

    Someones brave buying 5

    • Incredibly stupid or smart ?

    • maybe that person is going to resell again?

      • keep the fakes, sell them for $50 each, paypal refund without needing to return. Genius!

        • They may get your money first and refund you back in a month or more

        • so why do people sell fake stuff, if later on buyers can get full refund and seller lose their fake product+shipping cost.

  • +1

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

    • +2

lol. That seriously doesnt apply here to OZB users..

  • Even a grey import wouldn't be this cheap. Some thing suspicious is going on here. Wonder if it may be a counterfeit.

  • -1

    Fake. Delete this.

  • Lol and most of the feedback comes from one dollar junk and from the same buyers too.

  • +1

good luck getting your money back

    • +1

Yeah they think that Paypal is some sort of money insurance company. That getting money back is some sort of guarantee.

And why purposely buy some thing which is screaming out "hey i'm a counterfeit".

      • In this case it's pretty much guaranteed to get money back if it's fake. If the seller only sold 1 then it's his words agains yours, but he sold over 30 so he's definately going to lose the dispute if he was selling fakes.

      • -1

Yep. They lure you in with the title then list the item in the description as unbranded.

  • this is only a bit cheaper than the shopmonk deal a while ago, so hopefully they are also genuine. Good luck to those of you who scored one! (I missed out…)

  • +1

I'm pretty sure that this seller was previously selling fake NES Mini on eBay for $100.

  • +2

probably same with what Cocaine Cassie got wrapped inside her suitcase.

  • +1

Utterly stupid how this was posted.

  • delet dis

  • +1

Definitely fake. Here is another Malaysian selling fake Bose http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&user…

  • It would go well with my Polex watch and my Carraway golf clubs.

    • Don't forget your google gnome

  • Totally fake

  • -4

I'm totally confused. Why would you pay $217.44 for a set of fake Bose QC35 when you could pay $144.65 for these Sennheiser HD598Cs headphones which are genuine. Is it for the e-penis value of supposedly having a Bose QC35 which is fake any way. haha

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/321708

As for me i'm listening to on a set of Marley Destiny TTR over-ear headphones which i got from Amazon for less than $70. No big deal. hah

    • If its fake, no one will buy it, I originally thought maybe they were doing a special deal/price error on ebay, because they had 1000s of transactions every month, so I thought they are big and won't sell fake product, but possible I was wrong…

      • I suppose, if it was listed at say $50 every one would know it was 100% fake. The seller has done a put a price up which would fool the gullible into thinking say $228.88 may be a good chance of being a genuine. At the current time i don't think it's genuine at all.

        • lesson learned

    • Btw those are completely different headphones just so you know. The main draw of the QC35s are their bluetooth capabilities.

      • You can get headphones cheaper that can do bluetooth too. For example i recently picked up a pair of JBL Everest Elite 300 headphones for $130 although it's an on-ear design.

        • I'm well aware. Just pointing out the flaw in the comparison you posted above.

        • +1

          @ChillBro:

I suppose, i was comparing to a wired only headphone. My mistake!.

      • +2

Main draw is the noise cancellation. There are much better bluetooth non NC headphones at this price.

  • I bought one, gonna wait and see what happens!

  • Don't trust stuff from Malaysian ebay seller. I purchased a Ralph Lauren pink edition polo shirt from Malaysian seller in eBay and turns out to be fake. Took me a while to get my compensation back but not in full. Lesson learnt, if the price is too good to be true, then avoid at all cost.

  • +1

record low was 254 so this price is possible but not from this seller please….
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/314301

    • +1

And that was a price from the 15% off eBay discount coupon applied down from a sellers price of $299. So you might as well say the record low full price was $299.

This here from this seller was a full priced $228.88 before this 5% eBay discount coupon is applied. There's a big difference.

just saw this deal, 140+ sold already not sure if legit but bought myself a pair nonetheless.

    • Yeah that's the spirit, looks so much too good to be true but buy any way!.

And what does factory-renewed mean any way?.

      • I mean worst case scenario, ive got myself a pair of bluetooth headphones for 11$ which is still alright. Think it just means refurbished.

        • +2

Worst case scenario you've got a dud dead on arrival and fake headphone for $11.

        • @hollykryten: Pretty sure paypal covers fakes aswell. But the listing guarantees a warranty with the headphones so i guess ill just have to wait and see how this plays out.

        • @hollykryten: worst case you get nothing after waiting for 1 months then stress out to fill out paypal claim back then stress out again waiting for the cash to returned.

        • @dragonindespair: its only 12$ mate haha, id be more worried bout the people who bought the qc35s tbh.

        • double comment mb

        • @Chickenrun: just ordered can't wait to see hot they goes

        • @dabaodedouzi:

You'll be disappointed that's how it will go.

    • 100 percent not legit but…

    • Paypal does cover counterfeits but what about refurbished counterfeit units?

      • Guess we'll just have to find out aye

    • I purchased a pair out of curiosity - we shall see how we go

    • Bought one! Worth a punt at $12

    • Has anyone had theirs posted already?

      • nope… looks like a paypal case

        • did you try contacting the seller?

    • Did anyone get a response from the seller selling these Sound Links? Haven't heard from these guys yet.
