    • agree, people trying to compare Invicta with more expensive swiss counterparts…

  • +4

Negging as this is clearly a biased sexist post, there are far more men's watches posted than women's!

Young lady's please pm me your phone numbers to organise a petition against this terrible misogynistic post.
Together we can change the world!

    JK's.

Great deal op, some nice watches that really tickle my fancy, more specifically watches 03, 11, 13.
But sadly they aren't 10mm or under for my small wrist.

    • +1

      You are most welcome Sir.

  • Can someone please recommend a decent cheap titanium watch?

    • Budget?

      • Cheapest one please. 😀

        • +1

Why do you want titanium? A stainless steel watch isn't that heavy & doesn't scratch as easy as a cheap titanium one.

Check out the 2nd review by 50yr Old White Male for this Invicta 0420 Pro-Diver Auto Titanium

Consider this and this and perhaps this.

        • +1

@WatchNerd: you are right mate Titanium watch I have is full of scuffs, only thing I like is its fairly lightweight.

        • @PJC: Thank you.

        • same here…In fact trying to protect my Citizen titanium sapphire eco drive from scuffs led me to buying an Invicta! I still like titanium though…also I've never had any problem with Invicta.

        • invicta titanium diver is as cheap as it gets …. yes I own one … yes I swim with uith it, no I haven't dived with it, yes I have dived with my invicta stainless, yes I have lost a seamaster diving, that's why I now wear cheaper watches into the ocean.

        • @garage sale: you lost an Omega seamaster while diving??

        • @obiwan: i got lazy with servicing of the band and went to vietnam’s on holidays ….. was wearing it when entered water at the start of the dive , wasn’t wearing it when i came out.

        • @garage sale: Oh dear that must have been painful.

        • +1

@PJC: it’s for that reason I am now only going for watches priced $100-400…. waiting for the Bulova lunar to go on sale

        • @obiwan: This one?

        • +1

@PJC: yup! Love the story behind that one. No need for an omega anymore

  • I don't get it. Invicta watches are constantly popping up on OzBargain at ridiculous discounts. Isn't this just the normal price now?

    • +1

No, these are even cheaper than usual because many Invicta prices on Amazon have been further reduced..

    • You can use Camel to check the average price that these sell for on Amazon.

  • +1

Go a Carnival cruises, and these are always sold at 75% off RRP and people still overpay.

    • +2

Plus they get free gastro as a bonus.

  • +1

Not a fan of any of them, but well done OP. Great job!

    • You're welcome. At these prices some of them would be great gifts.

      • +1

yup, planning to buy 2 as gifts

  • +1

Great work as always PJC, Sorry I am late to vote the hell out of this!

    • +1

You're always welcome. I posted at for me an unusual time because Amazon prices change often and sometimes they suddenly stop shipping specific items to Australia.

    • +1

      xev 😍.

  • +6

I am always in awe of the hard work and consideration you put in to your listings.

You are a true asset to OzBargain :)

    • +3

      He's wonderful isn't he :)…

      • +1

That was meat to be a direct reply, doh

But yes, he is, and so are you!

        • +1

😍 oh my, but not as much as you ;).

      • +4

Gosh I love a bit of praise.

    • +1

xev you seem to have a negging fan, he's down voted you for absolutely no reason.

      • +1

Yeah, whoever it is has been following me around for a while.

May have just made another fan as well.

  • How inflated must the prices be if they can sell a huge range at 75%+ off? Nothing against you PJC but it seems ridiculous that theyre definitely still making money at 95% off.

I remember a school teacher once told me a simple way to price things by taking what you would be happy to sell it for then double it

    • +2

Among watch companies it is a fairly common price strategy but Invicta take it to the extreme.

  • Does the 8926OB go on sale often? It’s currently US$85

    • +2

Haha you're going to miss out if you don't just buy the 23678, which is virtually the same watch without the SS Bracelet.
See the description in my post here. The Invicta bracelet isn't anything special that I would be holding out for.

You can use Camel to see how often it goes on sale @ Amazon, but sometimes it won't ship here & lately that's when the price drops.

      • +2

        Excellent point.

      • +1

        thanks WatchNerd

  • Never seen high end luxury euro watches so cheap.

    • These aren't really high-end (or even mid-end). The sales tactic for Invicta involves pumping up the RRP through the wazoo, and then selling at large discounts giving the perception of an amazing deal. To be fair to PJC, these prices (the prices listed in this deal) are well below their typical discounts.

Re the controversies surrounding Invicta as a manufacturer:
      http://www.watchfreeks.com/10-invicta/8038-what-story-invict…

  • I'll skip on the invicta, but great post.
I think i quite looking at your posts PJC. you know how to cater a bargain for my heart.

    • You're very welcome. At these prices they can be good gifts, too.

  • eBay emailed me to inform the price of No. 52 has been reduced.

  • hmm somebody mentioned Seiko turtle and samurai look like nice watches …. how cheap can one get a Seiko Turtle with stainless band ? … already have 3 invicatas (love them for under $200 watches)

  • +1

    Number 37 Pro Diver 23678

Very tempting! I haven't got a diver watch - the Citizen Promaster was on my list for a long time but I couldn't justify $200 for it on WatchNerd's post last time.

    This one is $87.

    • +1

      The Amazon listing says …

Water resistant 200m (660ft): in general, suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not diving.

… which is surprising because usually 200m is considered adequate for diving. Perhaps they are being cautious.

Also consider Nos. 56, 58 and 59 at 68 WENGER Watches.

      • Thanks, but too colourful haha.

It's the classic Omega look that caught my eye.

      • +1

some of the dive watches have scored own crowns eg most of the autos so ok for diving, but the quartz are push down ….both are rated at 200m but that is the baseline so a bit of common sense need to be applied to the non screw down crown model suitability. …. if it’s not a screwed down crown and there is an issue with the seal it may leak.

      • +1

the wenger seem like good value for a quartz dive watch, wenger website says sea force are 200m, quartz and screw down, so better option than invicta if you want quartz and will dive with it.

        • Good advice.

  • +1

Can't believe it - I went back to Amazon just on the off chance the 23080 was back on sale and it was! One left in stock, so I jumped on it! But it then said no longer available, or something. Clearly just some weird website stock mismatch, designed to "annoy" people :(

    • Amazon can excel at annoyance. Sometimes they cease shipping a model to Australia. I have followed watches that suddenly quadrupled in price overnight.

  • +1

This 45mm Aviator is cheaper than number 43 -
    Invicta Aviator 22973 US$50.00 + $9.80 Shipping = $59.80 (~AU$78.50)

The price dropped today according to Camel

    • +1

Yes, that is an excellent price! Added as No. 14a. Thank you!
