        • @sween64: I did. No luck so far. Live chat shows a wait time of over 45 mins and gets disconnected mid way.

  • Hi there Rep. I thought I was going to be churned over to Telecube but instead I now have 2 NBN services connected and paying for both. How do I get my new Telecube service start date altered until I can leave Belong ?
    Secondly, is it going to be as simple as pulling the cable out of the UNI-D-1 plug and putting it in the 2 plug - FTTP ?

      I thought I was going to be churned over to Telecube but instead I now have 2 NBN services connected and paying for both.

      No connection would ever be churned on FTTP, unless otherwise asked to have it provisioned on the same UNI-D port. There's simply no need for it to be as you have the option of 4 separate RSP's.

      Sadly probably a bit late for that to happen :-/ Should have added it to your account notes to have it connected on a specified date.

      Basically, yeah. As long as you also update your user name and password on your router.

      For FTTP there's no churn as you can have multiple services at once. Call Belong to cancel your service now would be easiest, hopefully they refund you pro rata.

  • This is so bad! It's already more than 1.5 weeks waiting to get provisioned. I actually sent them an email to cancel the order and applied to TPG last Thursday because I couldn't wait any longer. But it was prevented because TPG was unable to do service transfer and Telecube couldn't let it transfer because they are still provisioning.

    It looks like today the order is cancelled since I can't see it in my telecube account. But I can't tell for sure because I don't get any confirmation from them. Currently I'm waiting in line for a chat support. It has been an hour so far despite I'm being the first in line. I think they are deliberately avoiding me because I have been contacting them almost every day.

    Can anyone advise me how to deal with this? Contact TIO perhaps?

    is that going to be same as Aussie Broadband?

    • Probably not, maybe close during off peak but most likely to be lower during peak, definitely not for international speed. Telstra wins that race and Aussie use them

    • They've got it on their website for expected peak speeds.

  • Suckered onto this plan when it was $99 setup (later they refunded $20) and $69 p.m.

    5 months later got an email saying it's going to $85 p.m.!

    Oh wow, getting a price jack before even having my service activated. Cant say that's ever happened before. Seems like a bait and switch, or poor planning on telecubes part. Either way, I'll use the month that I've paid for and then I'm heading back to Aussie BB.

    yep very disappointed opening the email this morning. funny thing is, i probably would have still taken up the deal if it was at $80 or maybe even $85 originally. but this just leaves a bad taste. i'm going to look at my options.

    Increases the price on the 14/06. After they signed up all these customers. I am with Telecube at the moment and happily recommended the service. Not anymore.

  • got email this morning, they changed their price policy. now is 80 month, no longer competitive. Anyother goood suggestion?

    Also got an email this morning and wasn't even connected yet. I'll be dropping them., I'm not going to deal with a company that does this.

    Anyone know how to get the deposit back? All their chats are offline at 10:46AM on a Friday.. crappy.

I sent them an email venting my frustration out because of the price increase and also having issues with my speed and they responded saying we take this as a closure request and we've now cancelled your service! What a load of crap! These guys are crooks! Avoid at all cost.

    I signed up and got my service activated $65 Month 100/40 500gb, good times… until 24 hours after my service being activated oh we are just going to charge you $80 a month now instead. Bye bye Telecube.

  • Tried calling them to vent and the dodgy bastards will only talk about accounts via chat and email. They won’t even do live chat. Hiding behind a generic email response instead so they won’t get abused.

    They did finally chat to me. I said what a disgrace it was to have a company rep on ozbargain sucking people in with decent deals only to jack up the prices once signed up.
    They are hiding behind online chat rather than answering the phone. Their only response is for me to send an email to telecube. I said what’s the point, all I’ll get is a generic email as a response.

    why not, if you criticise am I not allowed a chance to defend that criticism? The point of you emailing us would be so that your concerns can be addressed to the correct place. I am a support person and not really able to tell you the thniking behind company decisions

    I apologised for my harsh tone and said I’d better let him go as there’s a shitload of ozbargainers waiting in the queue to chat with him.
    I’m going to have to try the slower 50 speed 500gb for $74 a month with Aussie and see how that goes. Either way telecube will not be getting another dollar out of me.

  • They must be getting hammered cos now you can’t even talk to someone in sales! All being diverted to live chat which isn’t answering.
    I just signed up with Aussie but does anyone know if telecube pro rata your last month or so they suck every last cent out of you before leaving? I’m only 13 days into this month so I might have to cancel Aussie till the end of my month.

  • These guys are pathetic, unprofessional and very rude to their customers. Their Support is non existent and when they reply, it's usually a hopeless and pathetic template response. I had an ongoing issue with the internet speed with then which they completely ignored. I then sent them an email venting my frustration out because of the price increase and also having issues with my speed and they responded saying we take this as a closure request and we've now cancelled your service! What a load of crap! These guys are crooks! Avoid at all cost. You're not getting a cent out of me now Telecube!

  • Just in case the rep appears again, an FYI: I swapped to a cheaper plan than my current one, kind of 'taking my ball and going home'approach to not having 100/40 for $69. The email advertised this plan as $60/m, however I've already been charged $65 for it. Hoping for rectification next month.

          "Yep nothing will change, the 14th is the cutoff date, as plans rollover into a new month after the 14th they will be affected on the date of the rollover."

          Wonder why I can never get past 50/20 now, even steam can only go as high as 5.7MBps (45.7).

  • I got the same email re increase on the plan after only 2 months being with them and then no phone support and no response to emails.Very well planned business!!! I am gonna report them too.
