        The description says it's 100Hz and 120Hz overclock, the tech specs has native being 3440x1440 at 120Hz. They fudged up there.

            @EpicCC: I think it just backs off the GST, so $1172.18. (I don't think the EPP code qualifies the order for shopback).

            I'm still tempted…not sure if anything better is coming out this year (but the LG isn't even for sale over here, so might just get this).

                @EpicCC: From what I read, this was better than both of those -mainly for panel QA vs. x34 and better backlight bleed vs the pg348q (though darker). Faster refresh on the alienware too.

                      @cyrax83: Alienware actually uses a slightly newer revision that does 120hz better (vs. 100hz) AFAIK. otherwise, same panel.

      I'd get the X34P which can be had for around $1,050ish on ebay sale. It's the same as this alienware.

      It's just easier to swap the Dell if you have an issue. That's about the only difference.

    Just got delivered. Have set it up. No issues I am noticing that would cause me to return. Some mild back light bleed, and darkening to the edges, but this is what every reviewer said. Super happy.

      Great price, I'm glad you like it. I got mine at launch in Oct last year for about $1800 and never had any regrets. As you say, a little bit of glow in the corners, not noticeable in normal use but other than that it's solid on all fronts.

    I received my monitor today, Has anyone else got major backlight bleeding on their display?
    Its really bad on mine its basically noticeable on every screen.
    I think i might have a faulty panel

      General rule, if it's noticeable during normal usage it is unacceptable. Test patterns find flaws but is not representative of normal usage in most cases.

    WARNING: A long shipping delay!

    I bought mine on the 22/05/2019. Paypal shows pending transaction since 23/05/2019.
    The status today was still "Pending financial clearing". I called the support, they told me that they've run out of stock and the shipment will be by end of July!!!

    They give options to wait or cancel the order. I'm very disappointed but still decided to wait.
