              • @gotyourback: Catch.com mentioned that the 10% is not applicable on their website or they're not aware of any 10% cashback from Shopback… as per my copy and paste email reply from Dallas(from Catch.com) can you verify that this is true ?

    Has Petbarn sorted out their tracking issues, rep (if he's around)?

    They had the same issue with Cashrewards. Shopback rejected my perfectly tracked purchases (even using their app), at least Cashrewards honoured it and their rep clarified that they have been having issues with tracking purchases.

    I would be very careful and skeptical about 20% cash back tracking……

  • I find Groupon tracking poor with ShopBack and Cash Rewards. Seems to be Groupon’s fault. Mine have all been eventually paid out but it is tedious having to continually put in a claim over Groupon cashback.

    Obligatory be wary when using Shopback, ESPECIALLY when they have an "upsized deal" like this which is seemingly when they seem to have issues most. Maybe best to wait and see what Cashrewards offers first.

      I agree with your neg, but it's best to give factual information. The only two outstanding issues are The Iconic and Book Depository. Dan Murphy's and BWS have both been resolved. As for Amazon and Disney+, there were never any issues with those merchants.

        Sorry, I’ll remove them. I just saw they had a lot of negs and assumed without reading the comments thoroughly.

        However, BWS and Dan Murphy’s did have problems - and it was only after a major uproar on OzB that the rep did actually respond. So I would argue that they’re valid

            I actually pretty much always use shopback when it's same rate as cashrewards because I've never had to contact them and everything has gone through.

            Where as I used to really struggle with cashrewards a couple of years back

            Strange how it seems to work differently for everyone

            • @iamhurtin: I'm actually in the same boat. I've never had any issues with shopback myself, so I've always used them.

              As a community when something goes wrong as bad as it did for not just one occasion, I can see how It's enough to burn bridges and go with the other as that trust has been broken.

              • @zqipz: I've also had no issues with Shopback and a couple with Cashrewards, so don't really get the dislike for one or the other

      I've had large orders from lululemon and uniqlo not tracked. Half tempted to neg but will withhold.
      Either the retailers or SB are being sneaky imo.

    The type of Groupon deals I purchase are normally for food. I'm worried that restaurants with dine-in deals won't accept Groupon customers due to only being allowed 10 customers to dine-in but the expiry duration remains the same. So can't use the Groupon until the next stage of lessened COVID-19 restrictions but the Groupon expiry date is still e.g. 90 days from purchase.. Has anyone tried using a Groupon deal for dine-in recently?

      I wouldn't buy anything from Groupon that's not a physical at this time, personally.

      Even if places are tentatively opening back up, there's always a chance infections increase again and lock down is back.

      Be frustrating for everyone if you have to start chasing refunds

    • I have used my dine-in groupons lately. It's good. Some times they don't let you make a booking on groupon even though they're open, you'll have contact them. Groupon recommends to their merchants to extend the expiry rather than risk having to do a refund.

      I had a reservation for one place just before Covid hit, the restaurant cancelled my reservation with no notice and when I called them, refused to honour the Groupon and told me to get a refund. Said the Groupon was for eat-in only and they wouldn't give it to me as takeaway.

      Got a refund from Groupon but they would give store credit, so poor form from both Groupon and the restaurant I think.

        They refuse to refund and is only giving me credits too.

      • Initially they offered refund due to lockdown, but changed after 2 days to credit only.

        As I had mainly bought with credit after another stuff up from Groupon, credit was only option.

            Last purchase paid partly with credit tracked for cash payment part.

    40% off petbarn only brings them back to the rest of the field. The extra 20% off, if it goes through, makes it worthwhile.

  • Under armour don't seem to have any more stock in than last sale.
    Kids clothing is all the same with limited sizes and not many options

      Only on the amount charged to your credit card/PayPal account.

      Cashback is calculated based on the amount paid after Discount and after the use of Groupon Credits

  • Yeah i got my car service bought from Groupon for just $30.375 (originally 45 dollars 10 percent of at groupon, 25 cashback of this 10 % off the price through ShopBack)

  • Groupon flash sale purchase not tracked. Seems to be occurring only with these high value flash sales. This is despite doing everything recommended, clicking through, not opening new Web pages etc.

    • Catch cashback didn't track, they had tracked ~$100 of cashbacks up to now… Don't think will bother in future unless going to order anyway
