  • I hope that arrival window is not correct. Not worth saving a few bucks if it takes a week to arrive.

    • +1

If you're the kind to want it day one then obviously not..

Definitely worth it in my eyes.

  • Finally scored one of these 'deals'.. woo!

  • How is everyone doing this? Do you add it to cart before the sales event?

    • I didn't have in cart. Started page refresh at 9:59, once deal popped up clicked on it, hit buy button, my wife read me code from another PC, paid by credit card (faster than PayPal), profit! Actually I was pretty slow as my wife couldn't find the code for 10-15 seconds :)

      • Ahhh, my wife messaged me at 10:10 saying it was sold out….so it's literally gone in mins

      • +9

I waited 5 minutes for my wife to read me the code, only to then realise I dont have a wife.

    • Some are pre-adding the item to their cart and hedging their bets that they have the right seller.

Personally I use two windows both opened to the Ebay 'Special offers page', the page which has all the codes visible. Refresh both as soon as it hits 10am. Use one window to go to the deal, buy it now, whilst reading the code from the 2nd window. Whilt its sorting out the code and discount, check all my postage / payment info, then buy~

It does help that I have access to stupidly fast internet at both home and work.

    • +2

Looks like the winning strategy is to get a wife.
Any deals on one of those?

  • +1

Managed to get airpods pro, tlou2, A70, micro sd missed the airpods but waiting for 2nd rounds. Ohh i this isn't all for myself been buying for friends. Gotta make money by cashback. (Yes i could sell at profit….id feel like a c*** stealing peoples christmas gifts) hahahaha

    Tips:
    Use mouse and keyboard
Use shortcuts Control R to reload, Cntrl C to copy, Cntrl V to paste.
When copying do not drag mouse over code to copy, double click at the end of the code and it will highlight the code. Now control C
Click buy it now over add to cart
Use credit/debit card saved on ebay over paypal
    Control v on coupon
    buy

    Optional
I use exact time to know when to refresh. Example i look at time.is and when it hits 59seconds i go back to page refresh till i see item is available. Sadly for those who run on shitty internet i am sorry. Try running on ethernet as that should get you lower ping and better bandwidth. Turn off other wifi devices or set your computer or laptop to highest quality on qos

please reply if you got any other tips

be careful when you brag about your success in getting these plus deals, neggers will be all over you.

    • +3

Here's a tip from ozb wiki

Vote positive. By voting you participate in the collaborative bargain-hunting process that is central to OzBargain. If you like a deal, voting positive is a way to thank the contributor and encourage others to post similar bargains. Votes contribute to the popularity of each submission, and enough positive votes will promote the deal to the front page. You also build a history of voting that you or your friends can view.

    • Don't worry, I got negged by salty people because I have so far from this deal picked up
      - Airpods
      - Dishwasher tablets
      - Ugg boots
      - Airpods Pro
      - The Last of Us part 2

I've done nothing special other than what you laid out, except for keeping items in my cart where I miss out on the first drop, and try to "Confirm and Buy" from the checkout page at the next drop four hours later.

      • +6

Perhaps its as CodeXD pointed out above - you are taking part (and benefiting) in what you think is a deal without upvoting the deal.

        • +1

I don't think my voting (or lack of) on the deal is the reason for the negative comment votes. It's envy, plain and simple. "I didn't get the deal so I'll neg vote anyone that says they did."

          • +1

@Speedster: If you got the deals cool, there's no need to post every single item as your og post indicates rubbing it in people's faces that didn't cause you know how all the tricks work. Judging by all your comments I can see why people would down vote you if that's how you wish to conduct yourself here & trust me it's not envy nor being salty, it's bad attitude.

            • +1

@MaXX5000: So glad you have me all worked out from the two weeks you've been registered and the maybe two(?) comments that fit the profile you've built. Take a look through the entire comment thread, you'll find it's not just me that's had negative votes for stating they got a deal.

Is it rubbing it in people's faces? I guess, but only if you feel you're entitled to the deal(s). Plenty of comments claiming this is a scam, eBay are crooks, scum, people that feel like they should be able to do something else at the sale time and still have something in the cart available for them minutes later. It's abundantly clear there's limited stock. If there was enough stock for everyone that wanted one, it wouldn't be a bargain, it would be the regular price.

I've missed out on a couple of deals myself, but don't go around cursing the vendor or neg voting people that did. You win some, you lose some.

    • I was able to score deals with my phone (with data) using just safari.

    • Gotta make money by cashback

Using promo codes not approved by the cashback provider invalidates any cashback.

  • The deal for this Sunday looks to be some USB cables - I'm guessing that's when the next set of 99c deals are dropping :)

  • Looks like there might be a Kitchenaid mixer too based on the front page photo.

    • Yeah and Dyson Hairdryer pic too. I have noticed some things that have appeared in the tech sale ad ribbon are appearing in the 30 day deal.

  • Anyone going for the Ecovacs N79T tomorrow?

    • Was thinking about it but can’t seem to find a virtual wall or something similar option for them so I can keep it contained to the two living areas when running it. No doors in those areas so would run into areas I don’t want it to do.

  • +1

Apple airpods, launching at 5pm AEST, 17/6

  • Does anyone have a code and link to seller for ecovac??

  • Can we use cashback on these deals?

Yes! Finally got something.. not even sure if it's a good deal

  • Got one! Still many left after 4 mins…

    • Probably because for a smart vaccum cleaner, it is still limited, it does not work well with Google Assistant, and doesn’t work with the likes of Samsung SmartThings, Wink, HomeKit, Nest, meaning you can’t really automate the vacuum to turn on when, for example, Nest detects that you’ve left the house for the day.
Good price nevertheless. The Xiaomi and the likes cost at least twice as much.

  • +3

Has been at this price before back in March - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/525579

  • Yes! Got the deebot.

  • Grabbed a Deebot. Hope it does a good job, but for $150 I’m not expecting too much.

    • It's suck pretty well just not very smart. It cleans all over the places and miss quite some spots. But it's good for this price. I paid for more about 1 years ago.

  • Is the Deebot deal gone?

    • +1

Yep, looks like the last of the 300 units got sold at 12:46:29 AEST

  • Can anyone please advise if Titan_Gear provide invoice for the Airpods? Thanks

    • +1

      Yes they do.

      • wow, awesome. thanks!

    • +1

They provide a full price tax invoice.

      • thanks mate!

  • Airpods tomorrow 900 units.. wow..!!!

    • All over in 1.9 seconds instead of the usual 1.7 seconds

      • 1.7X9=15.3

  • Anyone know if you can get AirPods again? Got one for myself, sister wants one too lol

    • You will need to use her account, one per person.

      • I think plutofox more so meant he got one in a previous deal, in which I think as long as the code is different this time around you should be able to grab another pair.

        • Can confirm thats true, thanks for clarifying

        • The code will be the same as previous deal PMRL84. So can't get another pair if you got one last time. Will need a new eBay plus.

  • So while I still wait on my AirPods from my original deal, I haven't received my MicroSD card either, obviously being in Perth and the current delays with Aus Post are to be expected, but I just wanted to ask - with all the deals others have purchased have they been sent with Express Post like it says they're meant to be on the eBay Plus Month page?

    • That takes very long to receive your order. Yes they sent through express post. I purchased Airpod pro on Wednesday and got it on Friday afternoon.

    • Stacks of member-only offers & free express delivery* all month.

      *Metro areas only.

      • Thanks for the replies guys, I'm fairly sure the AirPods are lost somewhere, hopefully they still turn up but doubtful. The MicroSD card didn't even have tracking and was apparently just sent normal post, so the whole Express Post on the Daily Deals is 0 from 2 there.

        • Hey, just so you know I'm in Perth(metro) and have received neither of those items also.

          • @Elijha: Was your AirPods from the first deal on June 1 and what’s tracking showing for you? Good times eh?

            • @MBix: Oh they were the pros I got (hence I can go for these with a diff code I suspect). Intransit still last scanned 11th.

  • Anyone know what the code was for the Samsung A70?

  • Has anyne else had trouble recently trying to pay with card, as opposed to PayPal?

Both my cards failed on more than one device. According to ebay support, there's no restrictions on my account.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks so much

    • Probably have to check with your bank for the card for assistance.

      • Which isn't going to be easy in the 36 seconds it takes to sell out…..

  • I finally got one. But dammit - almost lost it because it made me log into my Paypal again.

  • +1

    900 pairs in 62 seconds.

  • +1

Managed to get one! probably because they had so many this time. Lol

Edit. It’s not in my purchase history!

    • +1

Same as me, I reckon bots are beating us.

      • Yeh this is dodgy. My money hasn’t been deducted

        • Mine says payment not received. Meh with these deals, waste of time.

          • @rootuser123: Did you get the payment being processed screen?

            • +1

@ironworthy: Said that, then order received. Few minutes later said payment not received. The eBay payment system is screwed.

    • I got an update saying "This order was not successful. Order cost has not been included in the total amount." after it said I'd successfully purchased WTF is this!!!

      • Same here….its so frustrating…..

        • similar error. see my comment below. they are fxxxed up

          • @Ozbogans: Were you charged?

            • @ironworthy: nope. it took me to a page with just a red banner something went wrong. after that i saw it in my purchase section but pending payment of $249. now it is somehow no longer in my purchase section. I did manage to screenshot the purchase though.

              • @Ozbogans: I took a screenshot too but is it worth taking it up with them?

                • @ironworthy: definitely worth a shot. $249 was the original price, minus coupon $150 = $99.
Having it in purchase means you got it but their payment system fxxed up and did not take your payment.

              • @Ozbogans: ebay rep: Do you have a screenshot of the page right now?
If yes , can you forward that to [email protected]

So, thats what they told me to flick me off online chat… so they can 'provide me with the best answer possible'

Which sounds like good news because the best answer possible is sorry here are your airpods.

                • @Elijha: thanks for that! I will get on the chat =)

                  • @Ozbogans: LOL this is what you get "Thank you for taking the time to send your email. However, the address you sent the email to is not available to contact eBay AU Customer Service."

                    • @Elijha: ? what a joke. I am now waiting to be connected with someone on Chat.
Will ask them for the correct email address

                      • @Ozbogans: I tried. Don’t bother. It’s not worth it. Just gotta let this one go

                        • @ironworthy: what did you mean? you heard back from ebay/seller already?

                          • @Ozbogans: No. I contacted ebay chat. They ‘passed’ me onto someone but apparently they didn’t cause no one responded so I gave up

                            • @ironworthy: Eventually went back through chat and all I got was basically they sold out and I missed out.

"Orders can be accepted and our system processes payment in a chronological manner. Which means that if your order is beyond the released 900 units, it is normal that your payment will not go through and then said order you mentioned was not successful even if you have the confirmed page"

So its apparently 'normal' and this affected a lot of people (my first chat session connected in 2 min, the second took 25min).

                              • @Elijha: LOL after the fact the main page shows the deal as sold out yesterday "Air Pods Pro 900 units"

    • same not in my purchase history either … took a screenshot of the successscreen

    • same for my friend, his one disappeared mine went through

  • +1

    sold out… what a joke

  • Should I have hope for tomorrow switch + animal crossing? Since people might have bought theirs with TA's deal already.

  • This ebay plus deal thing is absolutely fxxed up. I refreshed the deal page at 4:59:58 and when it loaded I saw the airpods. I then immediately added it to cart, pasted in the code, saw the price gone down to $99, then swiftly clicked pay now - with cc details already prefilled. Guess what. I was taken to a page displaying just a red banner on the top - SOMETHING WENT WRONG XXXX. Like wtf? something went wrong? I doubt anyone except for bots could have moved faster than I did. Then I had the airpods in my purchase section as "pending payment" requiring $249, not $99. Now, it has been removed from my purchase somehow! Luckily I snapshot the purchase. I have sent a msg to Titan Gears =(
