    I got the "Payment is pending" status on my Sodastream order. After the experience with AirPods the other day I know it will be cancelled and I put through another order which worked successfully.

    Everyone should double check the order status in these deals.

        Part of me likes to imagine, that whenever these sales come along, they have 1 guy sitting in a corner next to a label printer and a giant pile of pre-packaged air fryers / slow cookers / soda streams. And their job is to just print, peel and stick. All day.

    F*** me. Ordered with Paypal right on 10 am for the Sodastream but about 10 mins later Ebay said payment not successful eyeroll. Had a look again at 11 am and said 3 available, clicked buy it now, this time typed in and saved my CC details and it processed fine with an email saying order confirmed instantly!

      I think the stock is blocked even when previous ordered ones are stuck in payment pending. When they fail later, stock comes back on. I was lucky to see it and order again

        Still kinda annoying that it gets stuck in payment pending. Paypal account doesn't even show the payment was attempted and it seems like the Ebay to Paypal connection is timing out or something.

          Its not just PayPal. I checked out with my CC details and it still said payment processing. Apparently 2000 people tried checking out as soon as the deal went live and the system tried processing the first 800 first before cancelling the others lol

    Invoice was on full price ($99) … with 10% tax … Around $10 as tax and probably another $9 for shipping.

          Someone in another thread mentioned Apple products are Made in Malaysia, so I just wanted to tell them the country of origin. The products Made in China are better quality than any other Asian countries IMO.
