    Silver voucher code is BGETLSLS9ONUS…

    • +32

‘ This voucher is only for telstra customers. You cannot redeem this voucher.’

How dare you Binge? Are you accusing me of copying a code from the internet?
      I am shocked and angered….

      • +1

how are they detecting if you’re a telstra customer or not? I am a Telstra customer and its not working..

        • +1

Need to sign into your Telstra account first

    • +3

worked…but BGETLSLS12ONUS didn't work lol wonder what the voucher code for gold is

      • +74

        Got it it's BGETLSLG12ONUS

        • awesome thanks! got 12 months using code, even though im just a basic telstra member :)

        • MVP… Thanks

        • Legend, that worked for me as well even though it was showing eligible for 6 months.

        • Yep.Just signed up for 12 months. Thanks!

        • +1

          Thank you very much.

        • Thanks! Have modified the OP.

          • @JordanM: Can confirm the 12 month hack has been fixed. Seems you need to login to a Telstra account with the same mobile number as the one you sign up here with, and you can now get 6 months for free - which is still better than nothing.

        • Nice work!

        • Bugger, already signed up with the 6 months code

        • awesome, thanks! this worked for me - it bounced me around a couple of times to the 6 months free, i just had to re-enter the BGETLSLG12ONUS code a couple of times.

        • +2

Thanks. 12 months free Binge. Which I will probably never watch.

        • This worked for me, you the real MVP. Thanks!

        • Cheers OP and maolin95

        • Cheers for that. I was initially selected for '6 months free' and putting that voucher code instead bumped it up to 12, thanks!

        • +4

          Not all heroes wear capes.

        • Legend!

        • +1

Yep worked. Telstra Plus redirected me to Binge, then I changed the 'BGETLSLG6ONUS' in the URL to 'BGETLSLG12ONUS' and it updated everything from 6 to 12 months.

          • @mboy: No need to, just remove the voucher they pre-fill for you and then just past the new voucher.

          • @mboy: Thanks all and especially mboy for pointing out to change the URL, worked for me, 12 months instead of 9 months I was offered.

        • How do you find this code?

        • -1

Thanks - I had silver, but now I have gold :-)
Didn't try the service yet though.

  • So - is BINGE any good? Thanks for the deal OP!

    • +7

Yes, has some decent content, but I found HD streaming even on my NBN100 connection the quality is nowhere near as good as Netflix. The movie I watched was Ex Machina

      • +2

Yep don't expect good stream quality with these guys .
They will blame something else she. They don't do well lol

      • +5

I tried to watch Game of Thrones S8 E3 The Long Night on BINGE and the video quality was horrendous. Compression is so bad that the dark scenes (basically the whole episode) are just a pixelated grey mush.

        • +8

That episode is impossible to see anything in 4k let alone the 480p Binge is providing hahaha

    • +3

It's basically a rebadged/poor mans Foxtel from what I can tell. iOS app reviews are pretty bad too.

      • +5

        I am a poor man

        • +2

He's just a poor man from a poor family
          Spare him his life from this monstrosity… ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬

I know it's for postpaid Telstra but just thought I'd try with my boost sim for giggles. Doesn't work lol.

Will do it on my Mrs Telstra postpaid, wonder if it will carry over once I switch hers to prepaid and then to boost. Doubt that too but will see.

    Thanks OP.

    • +1

I don’t see any reason they would cancel your BINGE account when you switch her over to prepaid. To be more certain, don’t select the pay with Telstra option when you sign up.

      • +1

Yes was a gold member with Telstra Plus and have received 2 offers of 6 months Stan subscription. Signed up for the 2 six month subscription and ported away from Telstra. My Stan subscription is paid to the end of October and continues to work even though I have moved away from Telstra

  • +3

Any issues unsubscribing instantly after signing up?

    • +4

No issues, i did the 2 week trial a few weeks ago. Very easy to unsub, and when you do it you can watch up until the renewal date.

    • +3

Just tried cancelled and got the following:

"Cancel subscription failed: [Since the subscription has not yet been invoiced, you cannot use the 'EndOfLastInvoicePeriod' cancellation policy.]"

Looks like you might need to pay for at least one month?

      • I got the same!!

      • Same here.

        • +1

May be you can cancel after a month

  • Boost can access like afl and nrl program?

    • Pretty sure boost can access AFL without any subscription. Just need the app. Worked on my Boost 300

      • sorry, I have Boost prepaid. How can I do this? would love to see the AFL
        thanks!

        • +1

Via the AFL app. When I open it it says I'm a Telstra customer and I have an AFL live pass

  • +10

I gave this the two week trial and cancelled it straight after. The app is so buggy (on IOS), it kept restarting the episode when you would change apps and then reenter.

Also…. the app is called Binge, BUT IT DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY PLAY THE NEXT EPISODE!!??

    rant over.

But for that price, they do have a decent selection of shows.

      • +8

Could have asked the question to me first but when in the cancellation process I gave them a full rundown of the app bugs and how to improve. Pretty sure the internet rules are that you can complain more than once.

      • Why?? Why should we do their work.
I looked at the offer and it's shit.$14 a month for old crap.

    • +1

This service reminds the Presto years ago.

    • Just having a large selection of food in front of you doesn't equate to binge eating

  • +15

Typical Foxtel implementation of a streaming platform, their Foxtel Go or Foxtel Now was trash, Presto was trash, Kayo launched as trash (isn't too bad now) and appears as though Binge is trash! Oh and almost forgot, their cable TV is trash filled with ads and cost more than all streaming platforms combined to get the platinum package.

    • +17

RIP Murdoch. Hope Netflix & friends kills it

    • +6

I enjoyed Presto because I don't think I ever paid for it. So many codes thrown around here made it worth while even if you only used it once a month.

  • Hmm I think I broke Telstra! It says no resource found

    • +3

Nah, Telstra has been broken for decades now. ;)

  • +1

3 months is a glorified free trial

  • +3

I've used the 2 week free trial and it didn't allow me to use this offer.

  • +6

Foxtel is dead, they never adjusted there pricing to meet the market
You can have all the streaming service for the same price as Foxtel

    • +11

They're like Blockbuster. As long as there are still a handful of people willing to pay $100 a month from a set top box in the lounge room they will continue with their archaic model. They're just minimising their lead time. If they went and put all their effort in to Foxtel Now at may $29 per month all you can eat they would destroy. But they don't have the balls to pull the trigger.

Netflix don't have sport. No AFl, NRL, F1. Neither to Stan. I get that Kayo exists for sport, but if they had one package for all and it was a fair price they would win. A normal home would be Foxtel and Netflix.

      • +1

        Stop giving Rupert ideas!

      • +5

        Netflix and Kayo*

Have never given Fox slimeballs a dollar and never intend to. Paytv with ads. What a joke

        • +32

Shhhh, no one tell him who owns Kayo.

          • @rekabkram: Lol RIP. Don't have Kayo but good to know

          • +2

@rekabkram: Plenty easy enough to get Kayo for free through BetEasy. That way you get to rip of a New Corp subsidiary and a betting company at the same time.

      • +1

Who has sport now any way. Only a small amount of people want sport. If you want F1 or any European sport then there's IPTV.

      • No, keep the sport out of it. I don't want to pay for something I'll never watch.

      • Assessing Kayo for F1 with a free trial for these upcoming GPs. If it's acceptable, Foxtel is done at our place. F1's pretty much the only reason we have it. There's enough content on other streaming options to make up for its absence.

I am aware of Kayo's ownership. The moment F1TV's available locally, assuming the streaming quality's acceptable, Kayo's done.

        • Kayo is pretty good for F1 but like you the moment F1TV is here Kayo will be GTFOing the moment it's up.

  • If you have Foxtel Now and Netflix do you need this?

    • Yes, you NEED this. Free is free and you can share it with your rellies.

    • it depends if you have sub to reality tv shows

  • can i cancel now and still have the free period?

    • yes

      • +2

Though it says "When you cancel your Binge subscription, you'll still have full access to everything you’ve paid for until the end of your billing period." - the billing period is monthly so am thinking cancelling now just gets the free month rather than 3/6/9 ?

        I may be wrong..

        • +4

That's the exact reason why I risked asking a dumb question here lol

          • @FutureTech: I used a prepaid Visa card that expires well before the subscription period ends (and the Gold code for 12 months thanks to maolin95).

  • +2

Thanks OP! If it's like Kayo then its pretty easy process to unsub.

FYI, I found with kayo if you are already a customer and want to take on one of their 'returning customer' deals you need to unsub and wait until your current subscription month is over before activating the deal.

  • Nice just got 6 months for free.

  • +1

Go for gold! Thanks OP. Another free streaming service that I hope I remember to cancel😁

    • -1

If you cancel now it will let your sub go through till end

      • +1

        Have you tested that?

    • Surely you just set a reminder on your phone? Thats what i do for all my free trials.

      • +1

I’ve put a reminder on this deal 😉
        Phones change, OzB is forever!

        • +5

Phones change, your email calendar, reminders etc dont :P

  • +1

Thanks. Managed to get 6 months on Basic. Calendar reminder set to cancel :)

    • -2

Calendar reminder set to cancel :)

No need, you can cancel straight away and keep your benefits until the voucher period is over :)

  • Does anyone know if you sign up through Telstra you need to watch it through Telstra TV or can you use another device as wondering if you need to sign in with Binge account or Telstra account?

    • +1

Signed up via Telstra/Website and watching now on my Apple TV.
