      As a good deal like this, you would not want to miss it, donā€™t mention for canceling the order in the half way?! It takes time for getting your long expected goodies, right!
      We need to appreciate not to be doubting in the Christmas. I had my new 28inch 4K monitor delivered today and all sets for this pc now. Cheers!

    As much as Dell is unreliable with delivery times, this is an awesome deal NOT to be missed because of 1-2 weeks.

    Dell hardware is not as customisable as build your own, but for the money, this is hard to beat.

    I'm hanging in and hoping I get it on time which is before X'mas.

    I'm an impatient (profanity) so I rang Dell. Mine is in customs in Australia at the moment. (ordered 30th). But once it leaves customs, it has to go to a Dell warehouse in Australia, where it will get shipped out from a 2nd time.

    Not sure why they don't just send it on directly to customers, surely needing to go to another warehouse to only be sent on again causes an unnecessary delay.

    Anyways, pretty positive it ain't turning up on the 15th now. Not even sure it's likely it turns up by Christmas at this rate.

    Quick update guys, my order ETA on DB Schenker (the global shipping portal link on the ebay email) changed from 4th-5th of Jan to 15th-16th of Dec - the link to change delivery options is also gone.
    I'm hoping this is a good sign.

    I called Dell up earlier today and was told the following

    There is a batch of these in customs today and is expected to clear today.

    They are expected to be received at the warehouse tomorrow (15 Dec)

    Dispatching will start then with most to be collected and dispatched on the 16th.

    Deliveries to occur on 17th but 18th ā€œat the latestā€.

    Things are looking hopeful!

        I didnt get the update but if you search your order through the DB Schenker site. There will be a tab for "linked domestic" delivery (or something or the other). You should be able to see a SC number if it has been created.

        When searching for your order, be sure to use "Customer Reference" and "Sales Order No." as the criteria.

    First ordered on the 25th, but then re-ordered with 3yrs warranty on 28th. If it hasn't entered production yet, it's clearly not going to get even close to the quoted delivery date.

      If it helps, the rep on the phone told me the earliest they could push such orders was the 31st of December with no promises. They were also happy to cancel the order.

    I just searched startrack with the dell order no (last 9 digits) and it showed me it left minchinbury nsw, so hopefully should be delivered tomorrow, i am 10km away from minchinbury.

    I placed an order for one 25/11 and while it was impossible to get the tracking number from Dell themselves, once I enabled SMS notifications, it sent me the tracking number (today) so then I knew it was Star Trak. It was also in Michinbury today so will see if it makes it tomorrow or the next day to Vic. Dell communication and their website is just appalling. It does appear to be just around the corner though. Star Trak even have two separate places on their own website where ETA is either tomorrow or the next day, depending on which one you look at.

      I won't spam this page but this buying experience was far from ideal, and that's putting it nicely. Totally unexpected from a company as established as Dell. People criticise Apple for their pricing but boy is the buying experience totally different with them, and to be honest, most companies. I'm just hoping the machine is great, which considering I have a few that work well, I'm expecting it to be.

        How was it any different from any other online purchase? You pay then wait for item to come within the ETA, at least they sent an email to notify you that it may be delayed.

          The first email listing the tracking number is the day of delivery, 10 days after being shipped. Thatā€™s not how it normally goes.

    Just picked mine up. Graphics card is full length dual fan (and decent sized fans). Cpu cooler is also better than original thought. So far so good.

          Thanks!! That actually looks like a really good build. Not a blower model as people were predicting so should be quieter. Now the ultimate test to see if it cooks inside the case when running flat out!

            @GaAs: I find it hard to believe it won't. It a design made for office use components (low spec i5 with integrated GFX), not a K series CPU and RTX3070.

            If it turns out noisy or too hot, I'm going to buy a microATX mb and move all the parts to a new case.

              @lunchbox99: Gpu temps fine - mid 70ā€™s. Cpu runs hot - hit 100 during cpu test on time spy. Iā€™ll look at other cpu cooling options and a bigger case fan or two.

              Runs fortnight at 4K 90-100fps on epic settings. Havenā€™t tried anything else yet as still downloading games to it.
