    • It should be the purchase amount (ignoring shipping costs). You're just choosing to pay for part of your purchase using gift cards instead of cash/credit.

  • Coles Ebay is it 25% what happens if they dont have an item ?

    • you can refund but no cashback I guess.

      • So 25% should work on Coles, but if any item gets refunded you lose your cashback ?

    • +1

      NOT valid on coles

  • Would this work for a best offer that I amde now, which the seller accepts before 10pm?

    • +3
      • Items with Best Offer accepted prices and Auctions are NOT eligible for cashback
  • +1

Ensure that you Do NOT add products to the eBay wishlist and purchase/bid over 24 hours later, cashback may not be awarded

This does not make sense to me. We can't keep a wishlist?

    • I interpret that as "wishlist the items you plan to add to cart but purchase those items within the same day". Not sure if deleting them from the wishlist and then adding them back before you click the ShopBack link will work.

  • +1

will order quite a lot today time to cash in cashback.

Hopefully none of them have problems.

Time to make decent money from cashback

  • +1

Made Ebay purchase - now we wait .

  • bought something on ebay at 4:05, still not tracked, anyones purchase tracked ?

    • My Liquorland order at 2:08 still hasn't tracked. It's going to be a waiting game and a gamble

      • Same boat. Made a Liquorland order at 14:19, still not tracked

        • Just got a notification a few minutes ago saying it's been tracked. 8.5 hours

    • +2

Usually eBay purchases get tracked after 1-2 days. That's normal

      • Thanks for confirming, was getting a bit worried there

  • Newbie question - if I made a $100 purchase, $50 with gift card and another $50 with credit card, do I get 25% of $100 or $50 back?

    • +1

      25% of $100

      • +1

Actually, cashback excluded the GST part, you will get 100/11 * 10 * 0.25 = $22.73 for the $100 payment.

        • +2

Actually, cashback excluded the GST part

Only for items coming from outside Australia.

          • @ash2000: Nope, GST was excluded for me last time I ordered from Liquorland and the booze was not sent from outside Australia.

            • +1

@Lysander: Indeed, for LL, i thought we were talking about eBay as the original comment was about eBay?

          • @ash2000: It's excluded even for local purchases…

            • +1

@scud70: R U referring to LL or eBay?

              • @ash2000: Cashback is calculated on ex gst amount that's what I meant… Even for local payments that include gst.

                • +1

@scud70: In the case of Australian eBay items …….eBay and therefore shopback does not know if GST is payable or not for local products. Some sellers pay GST others don't. They are not concerned with who do and who don't. The cashback is payable on the full sale amount excluding postage.

                  • +1

@ash2000: ah ok noted i dont use cashback on ebay so was just basing it on the other places i've used it on when purchasing.

    • why you just purchase another $50 swap gift card (5% cashback on ShopBack gift cards section) and swap to eBay gift card.

      • yes I did that and got worried for a while.

  • In for an eBay purchase, made via the app - lets hope it works out!

    • Just did the same, via app 🤞

  • Fingers crossed it gets tracked and approved…..

And I hope I don't cross them so hard my fingers break…

  • Hard decision but I will fire the $130 at something and hope all well on the tracking :)

  • +3

shopback chat confirmed cashback is per transaction

    • So, if I make 5 seperate transactions totalling $120 combined, I will get my $30? Thanks

    • If I do 3 x $200 orders, will I receive $66 or just $30?

      • +1

Should be. I give the chat rep an example of 2 transactions, $100 each. The rep confirmed i should receive $50

        • Is it stated on the t&c?

        • +3

You won't get $50. Max cash back is $30 per account.

    • +2

I believe you but that doesn't mean the rep hasn't made a mistake. Id love for SB to confirm this.

      • Think about it. SB isn't going to be giving 25% off items to people. They will go broke.

Even eBay themselves don't do that sort of discount unless it is that 100% coupon error last week.

        • Is there a link for drama last week?

  • Question. It says it is for over 40,000 aussie retailers, but in t&c cannot see any mention. Can I order an item from ebay.com.au from the States, and pay in USD, and still get the cashback?

  • eBay gift card 3% discount, can you do $200? I just see $100, $500 etc

    Is It instant? Thank you

    • +1

You can use upto 8 cards. And if you are going to spend 800, this deal is not really a deal at all. Max save 30

      • You can make different transactions and get $20 a transaction, so if you spend $800 by 8 diff transactions youd get back roughly $22 a transaction
So its alot more than $30

        • Of course, then if you do that , 100 gc will get the job done.you won't need 200, 500 That's my point

  • Liquorland was an absolute pain today. would not go past items in basket sat for an hour and couldn't progress to payment, but it would on the cashback app on my phone which wouldn't qualify for the 30% so i ended up no purchase. luckily have plenty in store. waiting for next deal with first choice which so far no problems

  • -3

Liquorland link is greyed out for me, won't let me access?

    • +3

Liquor land cashback finished at 4pm

  • Did order via app cause im at work now, hopefully it tracks i usually prefer desktop instead.

  • Two hours of ebay order. No tracking update

    • +1

It could take couple of days , especially during this kind of promo period. don't be so worry.

  • If i spend more than $120, will I still get the maximum cash back ($30)?

    • Yes ..

    • Yes Max 30 per transaction

      • +1

        Max $30 per account.

SB aren't a charity and not giving people 25% off all items on eBay unlimited.

        • I'm inclined to believe this as well.

Odds are you 'can do multiple transactions', but once you hit '$120 worth of transactions' for the promotion period, that's it, you will get $30 back (in 2 months time).

I just can't see them giving $150 to a person who does 5 transactions of $120. Or even $1500, to a person that does 50 transactions of $120… Just does not make sense to believe it.

  • +1

Basic question guys - is it applicable on all the items on eBay ? Says 40000 retailers, so hopefully this is covered. Any thoughts?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Herbalife-Nutrition-Formula-1-Me…

    • Yes 'Health & Beauty' is an eligible category.

      • Great thanks.

      • I thought this is "sitewide" instead of certain categories? Have I gotten it wrong?!

        • Adult toys not eligible.

  • +1

ugh, read Liquourland cashback as 4-10pm and put in an order at 4:02pm facepalm

    • +1

You can easily cancel your order over the phone.

      • +1

Or not pick it up and they will reverse it.

        • +3

I did this with First Choice and they auto-refunded after 3 weeks. 5 weeks later the $25 capped cashback came through anyway.

        • Yeah……after 72 hours they automatically cancel and refund.

  • Guys with ebay, do you only get 25% if you use a gift card? Also does anyone know if car care products are included in the cash back? Please help

  • Has anyone received notification of 30% cashback from purchasing on eBay/Liquorland?

I made a few purchases and nothing has shown up in my shopback wallet

    • Same, gonna take a while i guess with this much traffic.

    • I got my LL confirmation about 7 hours after purchase…

  • -2

Can I use it with PLUSDE1

    • +1

      NO NO NO

    • +1

      Technically you CAN
Although YOU WONT CASHBACK FROM SHOPBACK IF YOU US PLUSDE1

  • No cashback yet 3 purchases made so far each one 120$ for maximum $30 cashback

    • +2

You will only get max $30 cash back.
Don't expect $90 then complain how bad SB is.

      • May wanna cancel the other 2 I think then.

        I honestly was expecting 90$

But hmm if not getting 90$ then better cancel other transactions

        • -1

Max $30 per SB account. Not sure why you expected $90

          • +1

@Scythic: Just cause of your comment cancelled 1 order regret it could have gotten full $90 instead of $60

  • Nothing in my click history - lets see how this plays out…

    • Been 4 hours since my purchase and still waiting too.

      • +1

        My LL took 7 hours…

      • My Liquorland order tracked after 8.5 hours

  • Will the cashback be eligible if i use Afterpay as the payment option?

    • Should be eligible

    • All payment options are eligible except the COUPON/PROMO CODE/PROMO VOUCHERS

  • ebay had trouble deducting from stored gift card values. Tried a few times. Neither can it accept credit card.

  • -2

Has it ended early - cant see liquorland with offer still anymore?

    • +1

      Liquorland finished at 4pm

  • hmm no tracking for my ebay as yet, it recorded the 'click' - I know it sez up to 2 days … but is 2 days normal?

    • Yes, normal for normal days. Very normal for this deal.

    • My LL took 7 hours, ebay likely to take much longer due to popularity

    • +1

Got it at 9am this morning.

  • +1

For those waiting on ebay confirmation, it can take a few hours to few days in my experience, usually longer during these promos.

  • Fark won an auction but didn't realise the new condition that auctions aren't eligible (they used to be). I've already paid with gift cards. I could've just the PLUSDE1 code to save $10 instead. Anyway, messaged the seller to see if they can cancel and I can re-pay with the code.

    • +1

If your auction was already good then why even bother asking seller for cancelling and ordering again.
Most of times especially for those who are selling one item only, are probably selling for a promotion, like gumtree free listings etc.

They will usually get very pissed I mean I would if I was selling it.

Just saying if I was selling it as auction and buyer me something like that I would just say you have two options, either cancel it (not rebuying), or leave cancelling and just continue everything as it would have been normally.

Auction are not same as normal buying dude. Especially not for sellers

      • +1

They're a big time seller, usually selling refurbished or open box items that you collect from their warehouse. It's not a private seller. But yeah I get you. It doesn't hurt to ask and I did say if it's not possible then no worries.

  • what's the deal for tomorrow? any hit?
