Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 6800 XT 16GB Video Card $1299 + $7.99 Delivery ($0 SYD C&C) @ Mwave

200

Lowest price yet. Personally holding out for sub $1k 6800-level cards which probably won't happen 'til next gen

Keep in mind:

RX 6x50 refreshes release on the 10th. RDNA 3 at the end of the year. 6800 series not being refreshed so who knows what prices will do.

Ray tracing is average, seems around or below 3070 level whilst beating 3080 at raster.
FSR isn't the same as DLSS. Still very good for me, prefer the over-sharpened look. FSR 2.0 is coming as well.
Consoles use AMD cards so it's possible optimizations might come.

        Gigabyte, no thanks

    • Good find. Anecdotally have had poor experiences with Gigabyte, especially motherboards.

These numbers are from the latest Hardware Unboxed 6 game (medium quality preset) average benchmarks for 2022 (https://youtu.be/gMUcZ7978rc?t=570). It doesn't take into consideration Ray Tracing, DLSS, etc I am aware 3k res isn't a thing, but I averaged the 1440p and 4k resolution performance stats. I personally run a 1440p ultrawide, so 3k is about right for me.

    • The graph is better, I noticed you LOLd when trying to list a bargain for the RTX 3090Ti in the above table.

As per his description he's running a 1440 p ultra-wide which is probably fairly common as i do also so i think its a good way to look at performance.

Good find OP. If only I haven’t bought a 3070ti I’ll get this in a heartbeat.

  • I have this. Great card, plays all the latest games on high or close to ultra. The Nitro+ just adds rbg lights on the fans, which is a nice touch for showcasing your rig. Ripper price all things considered, if you don’t care about raytracing.

    • For $1300 it would want to play the all the latest games on ultra

  • Buy this or BF Falcon?

  • There were a couple of the ASUS ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT OC Edition, 16GB going for $1,169.10 with eBay Plus earlier this week (not enough stock to qualify for a post).

    • Sapphire makes the best amd cards, hands down.
