Just went to sign up for eBay Plus on my inactive account and saw that they are offering $9.99 eBay Plus memberships for 1 year (thanks to @Ramennightmare)

    It's good value for $10 but honestly need to constantly buy off ebay to make it worth the yearly fee.

    I've barely ordered from ebay lately so not sure i'm even breaking even on the fee vs discounts (exclusive to ebay plus)

            @dewo: Sometimes each month they give eBay Plus users a $0 Variable Final Value Fees promotion for a few items so if you were to sell a high price item, you'd only pay the listing fee of 30c and nothing more.

            Lately eBay had been setting a limit of $25 though which made Plus less appealing for a lot of the people that were selling during those times.

    Just got an email with an offer of 2 x $20 vouchers if I let my subscription rollover. I got the $5 deal from last year around this time.

      If you can accept the offer do it, then go back to the membership page and continue cancelling the membership. Sometimes you still get the vouchers when signing up again at a later date.

    Success. Question though. If I cancel the membership now - so I don’t have to remember 364 days from now…do I still keep all the benefits or do I loose them? Some streaming platforms do different things & I can’t seem to nail down an official EBay page that states the truth. Thanks in advance!

      Cancel it (it will still say you have got Plus for 12 months).
      Apply for a refund per T&C's https://pages.ebay.com.au/buyer_coupons/plustc/

      2.3. If your free trial membership or annual membership renews automatically at the end of your membership term and you are charged the annual membership fee, you will have 14 days from the date you have been charged on your preferred payment method to request a refund of the membership fee from Customer Service. For the avoidance of doubt, you will no longer be entitled to the benefits of your eBay Plus membership from the date of cancellation.

      They tried the old "no refunds" on me but I said "read your own T&C's", got the refund and I still had access to eBay Plus benefits for the rest of the year (YMMY), if not at least you can re-apply with the current better deal.

          Outside the 14 day grace period now so I guess you are stuck with it.

          Could try customer Service and let them know it auto renewed but you note there are currently better deals/vouchers available which you did not get. Depending on whether the Customer Service Agent you chat to needs to get his customer satisfaction rating up they might throw you a voucher.

          Otherwise go to cancel and get the "here's $30 if you stay" gift voucher.
          Then remember to cancel proper next year or get the refund within the 14 days.

      Accept the $30 gift card offer, and then go back to actually cancel the subscription. And then sign up with this or another offer. I do it all the time and sometimes still get the $30 GC out of the blue.

    Stacked another PayPal offer $10 reward for first purchase on Google Play. Use reward to pay eBay plus and claim $20 TCB. PayPal was slow to send reward so support added credit when asked then the reward came through eventually too. Nice timing
